Welcom, welcome to the mumblemumble well, some large number thread for the healthy eating crew.

Shiney is our leader, but all creeds are welcome here, from the -50lbs club (whoop whoop!) to those who would like to lose 50lbs, to those who would fade awya if they lost 50lbs and just want to eat more healthily and/or chat about cock.

Mitts/Vinny/Mycat/anyone else talking about long body hair, when i was pg last time i suddenly noticed a grey (as in white) hair that was about 2inches long growing out of my neck WTF?!! I'm not a hairy person either, it just appeared one day. Odd.

I'll probably be x-posting with our illustrious leader, but if not, Come on Shiney!

DD has been teething but her temp has just shot up to 39.1c, so trying to get her to drink, thank god we have CapriSuns in the fridge.

BitOfFun · 01/03/2010 14:21

How did you get your foot out of your mouth?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 01/03/2010 14:23

PSML Shiney

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 14:23

Shiney, tut tut

Alicetheinvisible · 01/03/2010 14:23

Shiney smooth

Alicetheinvisible · 01/03/2010 14:24

Norma - she has just nearly wet herself laughing at my tripping over one of her toys, so not that poorly obviously

Well done Shiney.

I hate the reverse snobbery - the implication that you are a mug/nob if you buy things that are expensive. And it's only Next FGS, not Prada!

Today I have had:
3 cups of tea
some Japanese rice crackers
half a carton of Covent Garden tomato soup (v tasty)
a creme egg

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 01/03/2010 14:29

And my clothes come from:
Next (boots)
Primark (tights)
M&S (knickers)
H&M (skirt)
La Senza (bra)
Tesco (top)
Littlewoods/Very/whatever (cardigan)

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 01/03/2010 14:31

Is there anything else you'd like a list of?

OP posts:
VinegarTits · 01/03/2010 14:32

shiney

I thought you were going to say something like 'they dont do bigger sizes in Next'

I like Primark, i loath Next, i probably would have been flattered my your remark

YanknCock · 01/03/2010 14:35

Alice, at you getting extra scans! 3 were not enough for me. I'm sure it will be ok. How will you explain if you want the docs to take a look?

bella, could the iron be clogged with limescale or something like that? Maybe try one of those descalers before chucking it if it was an expensive iron.

Fleecy, could you use an electronic system for keeping your books? I use Quicken and have done for years. I'm ok at maths, but it's just so much easier on the computer. Handy tip my mom taught me, if you can't make something balance, and the amount you're off is divisible by 9, you've transposed a number somewhere. I love that trick, has helped me find mistakes much more easily.

Mitts, just promise if you're not doing well you won't avoid upping the AD dose again. It is NOT a failing or a weakness to take them, and you won't get any prizes for managing without them/at a lower dose. Your DS does sound like a challenge, when you say borderline, do you mean Borderline Personality Disorder? One of my best friends has it and it can be scary at times to say the least. It's hard to watch someone you care about struggle so much. My dad and brother also had a terrible relationship for much of his life (anger problems in both), but now that brother is an adult it seems to have improved.

VT, I'm always putting my foot in my mouth, don't worry too much.

MyCat, I'm another hairy one, stupid PCOS and going off Dianette brought out hair in places I am sure 'real' women don't get it Thus my monthly wax!

Goober, congrats on the stone!

Norma, yay for the food processor!

Shiney, at 'looks like it'. She was sort of asking for it.

So far today, 12.5 points used, 18.5 left.

I've had:
Breakfast: 1 slice toast with peanut butter, 1 banana, milky coffee

Lunch: rice cakes with mashed avocado, sainsbury's be good pesto, cherry tomatoes; muller light yogurt; cucumber sticks.

Alicetheinvisible · 01/03/2010 14:36

Wow! I am just watching Big Cook Little Cook and they showed puff pastry being made in a factory - amazing (i am a bit bored though)

I like Primark, but only because it is cheap, i wouldn't pay anymore than they charge for their clothes though. I find Next a little bland tbh, some nice stuff, but wouldn't go mad. I have a friend who goes to everyone of their sales - hell on earth!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 01/03/2010 14:37

Shiney...

VinegarTits · 01/03/2010 14:37

Are we listing clothes then mine are from:

knickers (sainsbos)
bra, trousers, shirt, shoes (Marshall Ward)
Tank top (GAP)
Trench coat (H&M)

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 14:38

I like Next too, especially the kids clothes. I can never fit in Primark clothes

Alicetheinvisible · 01/03/2010 15:11

I am too ashamed to list what i am wearing, unless it is normal for one to wear a ballgown on a monday afternoon?

VinegarTits · 01/03/2010 15:13

TrillianAstra · 01/03/2010 15:17

Was it the only clean thing with an empire-line Alice?

OP posts:
Alicetheinvisible · 01/03/2010 15:18

Clean? No one said it had to be clean
