Shiney is our leader, but all creeds are welcome here, from the -50lbs club (whoop whoop!) to those who would like to lose 50lbs, to those who would fade awya if they lost 50lbs and just want to eat more healthily and/or chat about cock.

Afternoon
Have avoided thread because I am annoying myself by being all wallowy and low, for no real reason. Just being a bit of a moany old cow really.

Shiney and Mycat at foot in mouth faux pas's.

Mitts, you sound frisky again, and your DS does sound lovely (and much loved).

Alice, what colour is your ballgown?

Vinny, get yourself checked out!

Yank, your lunch sounds lovely, I love avocado

Fanny, at beach this afternoon

Norma, stop worrying and stop weighing! Save me some carrot cake though please.

Goober, well done at losing a stone!

Going spinning again this evening, should get some life in me old bones (or knock me unconscious).

MyCatIsABastard · 01/03/2010 16:00

Shiney that is the kind of thing I end up saying too. ha ha.

I am always plucking and waxing hair from various body parts. And I have never once thought that I should just go au natural and let it all grow, I'd be like a sodding bear! I'm having my legs waxed in a couple of weeks time and I currently look like I'm wearing a carpet on my legs!

You OK Lizzy? Don't stay away because you are out of sorts...

Does the spinning give you a boost?

I am friskyish Lizzy . Left to my own devices, I do tend to be.

Are you wearing a ballgown Alice?....how lovely.

I am wearing,
Fitted Black combat trousers,
Black and check Joe Brown Top.
Woolly Black cardigan,
Black ugg style boots.
No underwear as I hate it.
Assorted Jewellery including a slice of ammonite necklace and my boxing glove necklace.
Foundation.

I shop anywhere... I am a clothesaholic though.

bellavita · 01/03/2010 16:48

Hello everyone

Very busy here since I walked in at lunchtime.

Fleecy - blimey, you are lovely looking.

Lizzy, are you ok?

Glad you managed to retrieve your foot Shiney you smooth talker you!!

Was supposed to be having a roast beef dinner but DH has a meeting tonight at the hospital so we are all having different. When rooting around in the freezer this morning I found a weight watchers meal for 4.5 points so I will have that with extra veg.

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 16:50

Oh balls, forgot to add baking powder & now I have a pancake style carrot cake Balls, balls, balls!

Lizzylou · 01/03/2010 16:52

I'm OK, Mitts, just having one of those days.
Don't even feel hungry, which is very unusual. Spinning will sort me out, am sure.

I am wearing:
Black leggings (Next)
Black long sleeved skinny rib polo neck (Next)
Grey jersey tunic dress (Primarni)

No jewellery save for wedding/engagement rings and watch, have clean straightened hair and mascara on though so it's not all bad.

You sound very funky, Mitts and am at contents of Shiney's make up bag.

Lizzylou · 01/03/2010 16:53

I am OK, Bella, just being moody!

Norma, Oh No! Is it still edible???

BitOfFun · 01/03/2010 17:03

I am wearing jogging pants with a hole in the crotch and a vile flowery top because it was clean. No make-up or jewllery. Do I win?

Wow at all your exercise Sazz

BOF, is the hole in your jogging pants a strategic one?

I didn't mention the boy snot and fingerprints on my clothes, preserving an air of mystery......

MyCatIsABastard · 01/03/2010 17:13

Today I am in a Matalan ensemble (trousers, top and cardigan) with bravissimo bra and Asda knickers and walking boot socks on

I am also doing pretty well on diet today and have just had half hr walk to and from nursery collecting kids. Intend to do it a lot more now spring is here (I know it's onl;y 1 spring like day but I'm a glass brim full kind of gal!)

BitOfFun · 01/03/2010 17:17

Not strategic, no. Probably just rotted through...

did I really just type that?

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 17:27

Lizzy you ok?

I chucked one half of the cake out for the birds & cut the other into slices as it still tastes nice (I had the teeniest nibble) but I'm going to start again once the DC are settled in bed

I'm wearing;

Jeans (from Next)
University of Essex hoodie (cerise pink, from University of Essex funnily enough)
Glasses (Specsavers)
And a smile

FiveGoMadInDorset · 01/03/2010 17:45

I am wearing trackie bums, old tshirt and sweatshirt. We had a great time at the beach, the sea was really calm and the tide was out so loads of rock pools and then DD decided to climb the really wet clay hill to th top and the carpark, boots were lost and found and there some very amused people looking as I flung, bag coats and DS over the top. So all bathed and had tea.

jetcat · 01/03/2010 17:46

Shiney - that made my chuckle

Alice - very impressed at you sitting on a Monday afternoon in a ballgown

Lizzy - you ok hun?

Sazz - well done on all the exercise, and Goober - well done on the stone

My clothes -
Jeans - Next
Top - New Look
Boots - primark
bra - evans

It is actually quite a trendy day for me

Well, we made the lemon and almond cake, but with the rice and almond essence. It is yummy, but i think it could do with less rice. Will try again next week, but it will do for now Also made a lemon meringue pie, which sadly didnt turn out too well - meringue nearly burnt on the top and still very runny in the middle (in my defence, this was junior's effort with my friend so i wasnt there to supervise)

And mini made some winnie the pooh fairy cakes, which was really funny when she tried to crack the egg before she held it over the bowl, and got it all over herself instead

TrillianAstra · 01/03/2010 17:47

Aww, poor Norma, so excited at your new mixer that the recipe went out of your head

BitOfFun · 01/03/2010 17:51

I went to the beach for a long walk with the dog myself, Fanny. I might put a picture up on my profile- it was a beautiful sunny day today.

hellsbelles · 01/03/2010 17:54

LIzzy - I wonder if you are coming down with something...when my appetite goes I know it must be that (as nothing else suppresses it!).

Shiney - are you getting little flutters of when you think about it! You poor thing. I have been known to make sweeping statements (rather like Vinny's of this morning) that get me into huge trouble.

DS is being a little challenging over his homework and I am panicking over too much work to do - but hopefully all will buck up t/m (and I have a day with DD which I'm looking forward to). Good news for me is that she didn't walk today - or at least that is what her childminder tells me.

today I'm wearing: M&S tights, biker style boots (but nice ones), gap denim mini, an asos white long sleeved teeshirt and a stripy navy and white top - boring but o.k. I did sort of improve it when I went out by wearing a very bright pink scarf

o.k...have to finish supper. Better get cracking

Lizzylou · 01/03/2010 17:54

at those living near the sea. I love being by the sea.

Norma/Jet, I really am OK, just being a moaning minnie, all menstrual and self-indulgent.

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 17:58

I love a good walk along the beach, I don't do it often enough really! In fact will do that tomorrow if it's not pissing it down

Trills that & the fact the DC were trying to climb up me whilst I was making it!

Lizzie you are not a moaning minnie, you can always have a moan on here, we'll always be here to offer cake wine and chocolates a shoulder to lean on & a hug or two

BitOfFun · 01/03/2010 18:08

I've just put the pics I took on my phone up on my profile- I am no David Bailey, but come and see them!

NormaSknockers · 01/03/2010 18:12

Gorgeous BOF

Lizzylou · 01/03/2010 18:15

Bof, that looks lovely, how nice to live a walk away from the sea.
Wasn't it a bit breezy up your holey gusset though?

DH had better get back soon or else I'll miss spinning.............

MitsubishiWarrioress · 01/03/2010 18:20

OMG...you are near Gormly's iron men BoF!! I love Gormly's work. Can I come and visit you and take your dog for a walk?

And I did snirk at your comment about rotting through your Joggies and 'did I actually just type that?'

Hmm....post a slice to me Norma and I'll judge the cake.

Your lemon cake sounds lush as well Jet... swap ya for a piece of fruit cake?

(I am a cake tart)

I am thinking of doing a three day detox. I think I have either a wheat or lactose problem. And it won't do me any harm.

Sounds like fun Fanny... I have beach too. The next meet should be near a beach...
