OK folks you know the drill, and if you dont pay attention:

We are a bunch of lovely ladies all shapes and size, here for chat, and moral support.

Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

i have been firmly in the realms of the non-gossip Lizzy And now that he is gay and non-threatening, he is prob more my type

I have just been reading the other thread in Food, and one poster mentioned what i thought said a "massive cock-off" when in fact it said a "massive cook off". I have been in the presence of TWC for too long...

traceybath · 17/02/2010 19:35

Oh god - I was dreadful when I first started running - I could taste blood it was so bad. But within a few weeks ran a mile and then upped it.

However haven't run for ages because of pregnancy etc - really must get back into it as made a massive difference to my figure and also mentally was very good for clearing my mind.

jetcat · 17/02/2010 19:36

double - as i am painfully shy, i actually only managed the 20secs if there was no one walking along the path As soon as i saw someone i would stop running and try to look all calm and collected

I am actually quite excited about getting back there (tis an old railway line) and seeing if i have improved, as with the weather being bad and no car, i havent been in ages!

Good luck with yours - it def works wonders

jetcat · 17/02/2010 19:37

my dream is to do the Great North Run - 13 miles I dont actually believe i ever will, but it gives me something to aim for!

For now, i would be happy if i could run 1/4 of a mile

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 19:38

I'm a horrible horrible mood. DH has been utterly shiteous though we have made up. SOH - it hasn't helped hearing how practically perfect in every way your DH is

Welcome Pamela.

Jeremy Sheffield used to live round the corner from me and I used to stand close to him (probably a bit too close) at our local deli . He was still gorgeous in RL and tall but he was really really obviously gay. He used to have these weird chain things hanging from him his jeans and a lovely, graceful walk (I think he used to be a dancer)

jetcat · 17/02/2010 19:41

oooh Hells - obviously at your close proximity to JS and not your shitty husband Glad you have made up - is he behaving himself now?

DreamsInBinary · 17/02/2010 19:42

Is the non-smoking still getting to him, Hells? Bit grim for both of you. Did you speak to him about his FB privacy settings? Sorry to bang on, but if I can see his pics then so can the world. Unless that's OK. Which it might be. Oh, now I sound like a loon...

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 19:45

sort of - I would prefer him to be much much more contrite as he really did mess up (not anything unforgivable....just really annoying).

Jet - he was rather gorgeous and regal looking (I mean that in a good way - not queenie!)... and it would have been so nice to be able to have a bit of a flirt with him (this was a fair few years ago when I was younger, slimmer and prettier). Alas the flirting would have been wasted.

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 19:46

DIB, it probably is a bit of that and he is very down about stuff.

Thanks for mentioning the pics - are they still showing? I went and changed the privacy settings myself a while ago! How odd. I better try and do it again.

Lizzylou · 17/02/2010 19:48

DIB, I did that too, Hells you are truly beautiful (and so is DS and DH,but we have had enough DH love fests today!).

Jeremy Sheffield? I used to watch bloody hospital dramas just for him, HOlby? My ideal. Then when I found out he was gay, was just, "of course!", obvious once you know.

Jet, you'll do good, me lovely, how tall are you, btw?

Hells, DH is irritating the ass off me already, and he has only been here for 10mins.......and I have groomed!

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 19:50

oh dear. It is definetly not a good idea for me to be let out on my own at the mo

Goober · 17/02/2010 19:50

Oh, there you all are.

Hi, I'm Gina and I am a fat bastard.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 19:51

someone come talk to me on fb. that thing from yesterday is still bugging me...

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 19:53

Thanks Lizzy but I'm really not - and certainly feeling anything but beautiful right now.

O.k...I've changed all the settings again for him. I hope it works this time. BTW - the mad money pic was a joke for a work thing (!) - I know he looks like a twat in it!

Glad it's not just me that is being irritated by a DH! I haven't groomed though...

DreamsInBinary · 17/02/2010 19:55

Yum, DH just plonked a huge, steaming dish of bolognese in front of me.

See you in ten.

jetcat · 17/02/2010 19:57

thanks Lizzy Am 5ft5 i think

DEM - am on FB if you want to chat

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 20:04

Pls come answer my v boring question

FiveGoMadInDorset · 17/02/2010 20:07

Good evening all. pound and a half off tonight which is good so 17.3 tonight, which is what I was before Christmas, need to get this week out of the way and then crack on with grim determination.

We are having monkfish wrapped in parma ham with new potatoes and runner beans.

DD is ok, it was a one off blip which was a shame as we I had booked tickets for the cinema for her. Never mind.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 17/02/2010 20:12

OK something is bothering me. Is Princessparty new or a namechanger, she has got to be the most arrogant and aggravating poster ever.

Lizzylou · 17/02/2010 20:16

Well done, Fanny, I want to live with you, you always have fab dinners

Hells, I guessed that! He has v twinkly eyes, your DH and you can see you are both obviously smitten with each other

I think I am off to bed in a minute, see you tomorrow...........will just check out the parallel thread....

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 20:18

Parallel thread?

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 17/02/2010 20:19

Hi Girls

I'ts me, the pink bird. I fancy a bit more anonymity so have namechanged.

Sorry I haven't been around much at all. I am finding I can keep on top of my depression by keeping myself busy with productive things. I've been sewing...a lot! My step-mother has said I can make some things to sell in her shop, so I've been making plans. I made a bag for my friend's birthday tomorrow and am currently working on a quilted alphabet wall-hanging for the girls.

Anyway, it all means that I am using supreme will-power to only turn the comptuer on for an hour or so in the afternoons, and in the evenings, and, if I need to check emails or something online, I'm only lapsing enough to do something to my farmville farm and then turning the computer off again.

I like you all so much I know I'll get stuck on it if I start chatting! I'll try just doing evening/afternoon chatting, though and see if I can do that without feeling the need to check what you're all up to all day long!

I'm still losing no weight .

jetcat · 17/02/2010 20:20

well done five

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 20:23

Bloody hell that took me a mo to figure that out. Well done and good luck with making the stuff to sell. Hope things perk up for you soon.

OP posts:
traceybath · 17/02/2010 20:23

Well done Five and agree your dinners always sound most delicious. I had pretzels and hummous as too tired too eat which is rubbish.

MrsWobble - god I'm slow - took me a couple of minutes to work out who you were. I plateaued for a few weeks before losing those final few pounds and then they went quickly. I think I was snacking too much - you know a piece of dark chocolate here and there and it all adds up. Is it possible you're doing that?
