OK folks you know the drill, and if you dont pay attention:

We are a bunch of lovely ladies all shapes and size, here for chat, and moral support.

Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

Fanny about your bIL, bloody hell he top trumps my xfil by miles!

VinegarTits · 19/02/2010 00:31

Yes it was a corker BOF , i had the same thoughts as you though, that last young girl who got married looked terrified, i felt really sorry for her, and the groom looked as rough as a row of council houses

VinegarTits · 19/02/2010 00:32

Oh SOH i think i love your BIL, is he best man? he is gaaaawjuss

VinegarTits · 19/02/2010 00:39

Best get to bed then

Lizzylou · 19/02/2010 07:20

Morning all, more snow, bloody stuff.

DEM, I fixed up my female friend with a mate of DH's. It was all going well until the bedroom. I haven't been able to face her since . Male mate told DH all gory details, DH who told me.

Swimming with the boys today, if I ever manage to get there.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 19/02/2010 07:26

Morning...

Umm... that's about it until tea is drunk and I crawl out of bed....

jetcat · 19/02/2010 07:53

Five - wow, hope everything works out best in the end I would love to go to Jersey - when we were in Weymouth last year i looked at the boats etc but couldnt figure out how far it was, passport requirements etc I think my local airport flies there during the summer though, so may look into it, as we could do with a cheap bucket and spade holiday

Hope you caught up on all the tele Vinny

And hope you got a good nights sleep DEM

Good morning all, thanks for the birthday wishes, rant is well and truly over.

have had a lovely day so far and it is not yet 9am. DH and DC's gave me some beads for my bracelet, Parents gave me a lovely cheque and a day course at River Cottage HQ, to learn smoking meat. Had some flowers from my cousin to say thank you for sending him loads of clothes for his son. Am meeting a friend for dog walk at 11 and my oldest college friend is flying in from Belfast today for the weekend.

How lucky am I.

Hope everyone has a good day.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 19/02/2010 08:53

Good luck with car Sazzles and Happy WW Shiney.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 19/02/2010 08:56

That's really good Sazzles, have a lovely day with your friend.

Happpy Birthday Fanny .

Hi to all. I am very slow coming round this morning. However I made my bed so I am not tempted to get into it again.

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 08:59

Happy bitrathday five!

Thanks lizzy - thought it was but wasnt sure. My dreams have been odd recently and now details from mn are creeping into them may be its a sign to mn less....

Jet thanks for the thoughts but ds was up 6 times in the first 3 hours and a further 4 times during the night. Am going to find the kettle and a large coffee before i darg my sorry ass down stairs for the lego building marathon. with the laptop to finish lesson plan type ups whilst he is happy.

Bloody ex has been letting ds share his double bed so needless to say ds is a bugger to settle on his own cos he is lonely words will be spoken.

Well done Sazzles, you are my inspiration!

Fanny, your birthday so far sounds fab, and sounds like you have a lovely weekend to look forward to as well, enjoy

Good luck back on the WW wagon Shiney, you did well to keep at 8/9lbs off.

Had yoghurt and blueberries for breakfast, have spag bol for dinner, prob a juice for lunch.

We are having a very lazy morning, then swimming and DH is on a 1/2 day so will meet us at the pool.

I have a night out tomorrow night with my school run Mommy mates, so am excited about that, just hope it doesn't snow!

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 09:13

Mitts - how are you today? you ok? ideas for weekend? Not picking mum up from airport as dad has taken monday off. so am free to do as i choose. Need to go into machester as ds has grown and trousers are needed. Which means there is a compuslory trip to the mosi! its the deal. he gets to go play there and he will sort of cooperate during the shoppping.

Morning everyone.

Happy Birthday Five! Enjoy your weekend.
Must say I am v. at River Cottage day course.
Cooked my first Hugh recipe last night and it was delicious.

Sazz you are am absolute star! Well done. Hope the car's ok!

Shiney, it's really good that you kept that 8/9 lbs off. Have fun veg shopping.

Lizzy, I read that as pancakes and blueberries. Fingers crossed for no snow.

Bloody hell DEM! Serious words. Sending caffeinated vibes your way.

Well I've had a massive bowl of cheerios, plus oj and vits.
Walking into town in a bit, need to get DH birthday card and wrapping paper.

Do I really have to buy him a present from DS?

DidEinsteinsMum · 19/02/2010 09:22

To be fair, he was mostly up as he is poorly or he had a wet bum (thankfully still in night time nappies --- not great at 5 but nice not to have had 7 changes of bed)

I am seriously grumpy today. One of my to do list states Not kill ds.
He has already annoyed me to point of shouting it will be a long day. 10pm bedtimes are back... no sleep meds. Can think why i was missy him so much when he was away....

...oh yeah - cos i wasnt so sleep deprived and he was on the sleep meds before he went.

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 19/02/2010 09:26

Wasting, you could get him a choc lollipop or something silly from DS?

DEM, why isn't your DS on the sleep meds now? Poor you, hope your day gets better.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 19/02/2010 09:37

DEM - so sorry about your night, it is so draining isn't it.

wastingaway · 19/02/2010 09:38

That's a good idea Lizzy. Thorntons ago-go!

YoginiBikini · 19/02/2010 09:47

Trying to keep up with this thread is a part time job

I'm not sure if I'd get through my first performance appraisal

DEM hope your day gets better

Happy Birthday Five, hope your weekend is a great one. River Cottage day sounds great. Let us know what how it goes.

I just got an email saying something which I'd ordered to arrive for you at home today has been cancelled and refunded to me. No explanation given. So I am so sorry but will chase it up later. Have a good time and put in law issues to the back of your mind for now.

Hope you left your list in the trolley Shiney

Have a good day all.

We're going to pick up our new puppy in a short while. Very excited
