OK folks you know the drill, and if you dont pay attention:

We are a bunch of lovely ladies all shapes and size, here for chat, and moral support.

Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

Fanny, that's crap about your BIL although your SIL is being bloody stupid too (if you don't mind me saying); she's basically given him permission to do it by allowing it 3 times in a row. And how awful of your PIL with your DC's.

Try to forget about it and have a lovely birthday tomorrow.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/02/2010 21:59

DD4 has a cold, it's been hanging around for a few days now. Now it's turned into a cough and I've just heard it sound croupy a couple of times. I really, really do not want to be down at A&E again in the morning! I foresee hot baths being run and hours in the bathroom tonight.

Fingers crossed not, though. I'm going to bed early, though, just in case!

Fleecy · 18/02/2010 22:00

I am rubbish at dreams. So... what mycat said.

I only ever dream about sex when I haven't had it enough!

MyCatIsABastard · 18/02/2010 22:00

My Nan, bless her , when I phoned to say thank you for my birthday present said.. ooh yes Fair Fat and Forty then laughed like a drain. Bloody old baggage .

I'm just about to watch my Big Fat Gypsy wedding on C4+1. I;ve got a feeling it'll be like watching a slow motion car crash! I cannot wait!

MyCatIsABastard · 18/02/2010 22:02

It's only been on 3 minutes and the wedding and bridesmaid dresses are bloody fabulous!

DreamsInBinary · 18/02/2010 22:03

Fanny that is utterly, utterly shit. What a twat. Is Sark the one with no cars?

I dream about sex a lot, regardless of rl action. They're usually quite vanilla, but bloody hell, when I was pregnant...

FiveGoMadInDorset · 18/02/2010 22:04

Yes, it is DH's Sister, he hasn't seen her since his mothers funeral which is 5 years ago. Sorry just needed to rant.He is such and awful person, the first time he did this, repossession etc, was because he forged DH's signature on a laon agreement which we only found out about when we had a letter from the bank saying they were calling in the loan and wanted £25K ASAP. We managed to sort that one out and I think he went to court but got community service as the next time he did something, forged letters to his building society pretending to be his brother and saying that he had leukemia, terminal, and wouldn't be able to pay it, he ended up in jail because of a previous conviction. he came out 14 months ago and has just done it all again.

Hello Fleecy, welcome to the cult.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 18/02/2010 22:06

Yes it is, my mother was brought up on Alderney after the war and my Godmother used to own Lihou Island which is now owned by the Barclay brothers. I have old college friends who live on Sark so going for a bucket and Spade holiday and a catch up with them. We can get the ferry from Weymouth which is really easy.

DreamsInBinary · 18/02/2010 22:06

Jesus, Fanny, that's some serious past. SIL must either love him very much or, well, I can't think of an 'or'.

DidEinsteinsMum · 18/02/2010 22:06

ok i lied, i'm still here. I'd be willing for someone to borrow my dreams tonight. They are odd, and one or two of them have made me go The last few blokes i have ended up seeing, i dreamt about before i met them. tis truely odd. And the rest of them are just plain weird... especially last night.... nuff said really.

YanknCock · 18/02/2010 22:10

ooh yeah, I had some cracking sex dreams when I was pregnant. Now I almost never remember my dreams at all.

Got some lovely drugs for the first 24 hours after my section, but the needle left very sore spots on my arm.

About 10 years ago I fell out of a work van (big thing that could accommodate wheelchair lift) and managed to wrench my leg very quickly up toward my bum, straining my front thigh muscle in a way you'd never believe could hurt so much. They got me to A&E, gave me a shot of something like horse tranquilizer which left me giggling and shouting the place down--'hey x-ray lady! with the hat!! I'm readddddyyyyyyy!!! for my X-RAY!!!' (she'd come in with one of those surgical hair covers on, seen I was on the phone and wandered away)

DidEinsteinsMum · 18/02/2010 22:10

is it lizzy who had the blokey friend who talks about his sexual encounters with a girl to her husband and it was her (lizzy/whoever) who set up the encounter/relationship/meeting up of parties?

OP posts:
DreamsInBinary · 18/02/2010 22:10

Mmm, a bucket and spade holiday sounds wonderful. We went to Jersey a few times as children and it always felt very different from the mainland.

DidEinsteinsMum · 18/02/2010 22:11

tbh i skipped the dream part. best sex was when pregnant. but that truely is a bit tmi

YanknCock · 18/02/2010 22:12

Wow Fanny, that's awful. And you say the PIL's will bail her out again? What on earth does she see in this man?

MyCatIsABastard · 18/02/2010 22:12

The Gypsy wedding programme is great. Fake tan - check, yards and yards of tafetta - check, more lace than you can shake a stick ag - check, It's really rather lovely.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 18/02/2010 22:13

She left her husband to be with him. She knows and I guess she just loves hima nd knows that her father will bail her out. She never worked until this last year. My SMIL gave her £200 as she came begging for food money, SMIL went with ehr and SIL spent £75 on a haircut. Never mind.

DreamsInBinary · 18/02/2010 22:53

Norma - you about?

Are you NormaSnorks as well?

MyCatIsABastard · 18/02/2010 22:57

Well, that was lovely. The dresses were like the ones I dreamed of having when I was 8 and blissed out on disney. My DD would think they were marvelous.

wastingaway · 18/02/2010 23:19

Bloody hell Five! What a waster!

I enjoyed all the drugs they gave me in hospital.
I'm considering an elec cs next time (if and when), but then I wouldn't get any gas and air.

Right I'm off.

BitOfFun · 18/02/2010 23:23

That programme just worried me a bit tbh- what if their husbands turn ou to be drunken wifebeaters? There is no escape, and the peak of a girl's life is her wedding. Give me a do like SOH's any day over that.

BitOfFun · 18/02/2010 23:25

Not that I'm implying SOH's was a lesser event ...just that it looked so much more about the couple and the celebration of that, rather than the biggest ever frock blah blah.

Oh, you know what I mean.

VinegarTits · 19/02/2010 00:25

Evening, soz i went awol, good telly night tonight, have watched Eastenders, Masterchef, Gypsy weddings, What Katie did next, and i still have Allan Carr and Secret Diary of a call girl to watch on Sky+

Just watching SOH's wedding dance, i love it! now swooning over your bil
