OK folks you know the drill, and if you dont pay attention:

We are a bunch of lovely ladies all shapes and size, here for chat, and moral support.

Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

SOH - lots like you had a lot of fun. How the hell your dress didnt fall down i'll never know. I'd have needed so series body glue to achieve that. very

Erm.. not sure advice is the right word sazzles. it was discussed but not really any advice given. more an assistance in analysis.

Only had ds back a few hours, plus dad back and already i a missing being on my own. Glad to have ds back though. i worry a lot when he is away.

Oh funny story. meeting ds and ex in a shop. rung ex to find out where they were. Ds spied me and instead of doing a run jump type thing he'd normally do. he cooly and calculating walked over and flung himself at me over the last step. nearly knocked me over as i wasnt prepared for it. it was both cute and funny to watch him try to be soo grown up and pretend to not be fussed to see me. I ended up carrying him for the next half hour. my back kills.

I am not driving to chester if the weather is as bad tomo as it has been today. will have to do something else. dont suppose ds will care too much. promise a trip to pets at home and a pj day, with lego building involved. might see about rustling up a batch of those brownies if i can discover the kitchen.

Welcome Pamela, assuming your a 17 Feb girl too. Those born on 17th Feb are in fact destined to rule the world. The world has not yet noticed but it shall!

SOH, may I just say I wish I could post in as witty way as you. I am in awe! And your first dance vid is ace. You looked gorgeous.

MrsWobble - love the new name!

Vinny. What a dreadful thing for your exFIL to do!

again to Vinny re the police raid next door! Exciting too

Hello fleecy

DS is teething big time poor lad, keeps whimpering in his sleep (or maybe he's dreaming about me..). It's his first birthday on Saturday and I have a feeling he is going to look like a drooling cherry on his photo's. Still, something to embarras him with in yrs to come, so not all bad.

DidEinsteinsMum · 18/02/2010 21:25

Erm actually i think i am going to scuttle off and find a hot water bottle. i have a new garfield book to 'read' though. Its not the same when you have to explain the jokes as you read them aloud.

Actually fleecy - you'll be shocked to learn that this is fairly slow for this thread. you should see it when it really takes off...

This the record was 700posts in one evening, across two thread titles.

OP posts:
DidEinsteinsMum · 18/02/2010 21:28

that clearly should have been think the record...

My brain has been troubling me today. Hopefully it is kinda to me when i am asleep. some things you just dont want to be thinking about.

Evening!

Sazz, I know! On good thing is that the leak appears to have been on the external side of the meter, so it hasn't cost me anything but frazzled nerves.

Lizzy, you're doing fantastically at the gym!

Never heard of acai berry capsules Goober, sorry.

I'm currently having Spatone for iron, probiotics to fend off the return of the dreaded breastfeeding thrush and Zinc to assist with lack of Zinc. Err, for my skin that one I think.
I think most of the weight loss ones are a bit dubious really.
Any effect will be pretty small, and that money could have been spent on nice face cream, or controlling knickers.

We're going to watch some 24 now. FIL has recorded it for us, and we've got 6 episodes!
Once upon a time, we'd have watched them in one go, but parenthood has robbed us of mornings that start at 11.30.

Jet don't know if you saw my question earlier, but were you at your heavier weight when you started running? I'm looking for a push, and if my weight's no barrier, then that's one less excuse!

MyCatIsABastard · 18/02/2010 21:30

shiney - codeine makes me throw up everytime. I'd rather have the headache than the sickness. If you've got the heating on you could put a wet towel on her radiator and as it dries it'll let steam off in her room, which should help her cough. Or use a humidifier if you've got one.

For those of you local to Cheltenham and Gloucester, must say that Storyteller restaurant in Cheltenham was really good, although a tad slow on service. Had a lovely meal of taco's and dips to start (home made taco's and dips), then mississippi seafood platter with crayfish, mussels, prawns and salmon in a cream and pesto sauce. YUM YUM YUM!

DidEinsteinsMum · 18/02/2010 21:32

Zinc is also for the immune system wasting.
Have a nice evening.

Fucking fucking fucking BIL has done it again, and fucking awful Sil has let him, he has fucked off again, 3rd time, leaving thousands and thousands of debts which my exceedingly weak FIL will be paying off agianm despite himsayinf to his daughter that he won't if she takes him back. These are the godawful GP's of my DC's who spent 8 hours in there company and didn't say anything to thjem except hello.

And we are going to Sark hopefully in June for a week.

MyCatIsABastard · 18/02/2010 21:45

Shiney - HTH

Sazz - not sure it was for kids, service was very continental slow which I have often found is a nightmare with my DD. She wants her food about 5 seconds after she has mentioned it - with tomatoe sauce .

MyCatIsABastard · 18/02/2010 21:46

tomatoe?? tomato, surely!

Fanny, what's happened? Don't know background, is this your DH's sister?

SOH, love the video, looks like a fantastic time!

I am feeling much better. Oddly, I think my immune system was improved greatly by pregnancy. I had terrible proper flu in December 2008, just when I found out I was pregnant, and this illness is the first respiratory type thing I've had since then! And only two days! Normally I catch everything going and can't shake it for ages.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/02/2010 21:57

Fanny - you must be fuming! Is this your DH's sister and her fella?

Shiney - opiates make me puke too. I refuse them every time - would rather have the pain!
