Some of it is healthy eating chat. WW, LL, food focus, south beach. Whatever ever the route, whatever the goal its all here.

Most of the time its just moral support and general chat... So dive in, post as much as you are able and have some fun...

hello lads, and mrswobble, loving the new name

i am having a nightmare with my car and xfil and money

basically i game him £650 last year for his friend to fix my head gasket, then few weeks ago it starting overheating again, so his mate had another look and said it was the radiator, so just folked out another £250

then xfil slipped up on the phone about the cost of the head, and said it was £500 and when i said no, i paid you £650 he tried to make out it was my mistake but my dad backed me up as he lent me the money (which i still owe him) and he heard xfil tell me £650, so xfil has agreed to give me £150 back and said i must have misheard him, must have been a bad line, im fuming, even it if was a bad line (which it wasnt) £500 doesnt sound anything like £650 does it?

all this shit, plus being ill is sending me into a deep depression

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 22:24

fuck vinny that is shit.

erm. sorry about the swearing. not quite sure where it has come from. will have to sort it out before ds gets back and i head back to school.

OP posts:
DreamsInBinary · 17/02/2010 22:24

, Vinny

That's a fucking disgrace

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 17/02/2010 22:28

DEM - will def vote for opposition. Would anyway. It's more whether or not I make a public declaration on FB bearing in mind he's clearly thinking he'll get support from his friends just because they're his friends, regardless of their political leanings.

VT - how bloody awful of your xfil - you don't have much luck with him, do you? on your behalf. Don't get depressed!

VinegarTits · 17/02/2010 22:29

i just dont know what to think, dont know if xfil was trying to rip me off, or his mate was, but i am 200% sure he told me £650, and thats how much i gave him, but he said he didnt count it, just gave it straight to his mate, who didnt count it either i dont trust either of them

sorry to moan

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 22:29

Right, so when XFIL was trying to make out that you owed him a favour for sorting out your car he was actually taking an extra fee? What a twat. At least now you have an extra excuse to not let him take DS2 to the zoo and fill him full of lies.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 22:31

Politic is politics. i make a point of not mixing friends and politicians. friends are friends, politicians are lying, self serving greeky fucks. I would declare it but i have no problem saying exactly what i mean. which is beginning to become a bit of a problem...

OP posts:
wastingaway · 17/02/2010 22:34

Vinny! What a twat! And there he's been trying to get in your good books etc.

DEM, interesting about running tracks, used to be near one, but not sure there's one nearby now.
There's a wide gravelly path through trees up the road, old roman road I think, that I'd consider running on. Only dog walkers, cyclists etc., but only in the light. Might be a plan when the nights get lighter.

Right, I'm off to bed.

VinegarTits · 17/02/2010 22:35

i want nothing more to do with him now

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 22:36

Not really much of a surprise considering. Is it something that is an option.

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 22:40

bloody hell vinny - is this the same twat who is always doing those ridiculous text messages that make it sound like he is trying to be nice but is actually him being ultra manipulative. WTF. I can't imagine how much he must be squirming now. Though of course he will try and turn it round and make it seem like it's your fault.

What is your gut feeling...do you thikn it's him or his mate?

VinegarTits · 17/02/2010 22:44

same guy Hells, also the same guy i thought was manipulating ds2 into not wanting to stay at his Grandmas house because there is an injunction against him going there

hellsbelles · 17/02/2010 22:53

Vinny. I'm so sorry. This is always so much harder to deal with than people who are straight forward nasty (if that makes sense?!) - it sort of makes you question your judgements when they are so deceptive. But perhaps this is actually a sort of relief isn't it? To have your instincts proved right

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 23:07

Ok, folks. Need a favour. could those of you who have posted on my thread on fb come and delete their posts please. Need to clear everything so i can delete the original post. Thanks.

Matter resolved - well mostly. thanks.

I think i like being an enigma DIB - especially by those defining qualities. its just who i am and have been for a long time. Its what D used to say, and more recently ex. Kinda fitting to come full circle really. Maybe that is why i am so much happier. I am being who i am, not being who i feel i should be. Being able to be a bit mad is nice.

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 23:13

What's the title DEM, I can delete the topic.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 23:13

TrillianAstra · 17/02/2010 23:14

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/02/2010 23:17

traceybath · 18/02/2010 07:02

Morning All.

Vinny - your FIL is a nightmare - can you find someone else to do your car in future as I wouldn't trust either him or the mechanic?

DS2 slept for 13 hours last night but still grumpy this morning.

Trills - have posted on your S&B thread but forgotten what colouring you are.

Morning all , I have weighed in this morning and I have lost a grand total of 1 pound which is rubbish as I have only just started trying again but is also marvellous because I didn't think I would lose anything the week of giving up smoking .

DidEinsteinsMum · 18/02/2010 08:10

Well done wilbury! A lb is a lb and its all going in the right direction.

i'm tired this morning.

OP posts:
travellingwilbury · 18/02/2010 08:13

Thanks DEM , no excercise this week either which obviously doesn't help , I might actually do more than just read the cover of the Davina dvd today , I am sure my boys will be most entertained watching me .

I am going to start the couch to 5 k thing this weekend as well .

Do you have to do anything today or are you allowed to just be tired and slobby at home ?

Lizzylou · 18/02/2010 08:17

Travelling, a 1lb is fab, especially when you've quit smoking, well done you!

Vinny, Shiney's right, cut him out, get a new mechanic. I cannot believe the fucking cheek of the man and am fuming on your behalf, making it out he's doing you a favour and then ripping you off? The mother of his grandson he so desperately wants to spend time with? Fucking thieving dickhead,
gosh, that has angered me, can you tell?

Morning all

Am actually in a good mood, honestly!

Lizzylou · 18/02/2010 08:18

Meant to say, 4km in 21mins is FAB, Sazz.
I am not quite ready to race you yet!
Prob not ever to be honest, built for comfort not for speed, me!
