Alice, good news on the ECG.
Are they wanting you back in for any follow-up?
Sounds like a good outfit for the wedding.

NormaSknockers · 16/02/2010 09:38

Morning all,

Zoo trip is off, the weather is awful this way & DS isn't well enough to be out all day in wind/rain/sleet etc thankfully it's only 20 mins up the road from us so we easily go another day. DD was a bit disappointed so we're going to take a trip into town a little later & treat her to something from the shops & a McDonalds that seemed to seal the deal

So how are we all?

Am I the only twat pre-occupied person who didn't realise it was Shrive Tuesday today?

Alicetheinvisible · 16/02/2010 09:49

Cheers Wasting i may have to see them again just so they can close the whole thing iyswim?

Norma - is it Colchester you were going to? It was very cold on Sunday and DD really wasn't very interested.

hellsbelles · 16/02/2010 09:52

VInny - have you been taking your vitamins? - you poor thing with more illing.

My usually reliable childminder is poorly so I can't go to work. Lovely to have more time with DD but a fecking nightmare that I have to miss a day of work as I have so so much to do with no chance to catch up.

Now which lovely lady was it that reminded it to take evening primrose for my horrid PMT? I have been taking it and got AF today - and have to say I haven't been half as bad as normal (i.e. grump and moodiness wise) - so I think it's made a difference - so THANK YOU

Norma - DS is obsessed with Pancakes so I had no chance of forgetting (he reminded me twice)

NormaSknockers · 16/02/2010 09:54

It is Alice yes I have a season card for it so can take them another day when it's not as cold!

LOL hells, guess you couldn't forget! I was just looking up WW points & it's only 1.5 for a pancake so I'll make some for pudding tonight

hellsbelles · 16/02/2010 09:56

So few (though I wonder what the golden syrup on them adds up to)?! I shall have to have some too. I use AF as an excuse to pig out. I feel the need for carbs.

Now - did I do something very wrong? I seem to have been chucked out of the shiney cult? It's disappeared from my 'groups'. Whatever it is I didn't mean it

Alicetheinvisible · 16/02/2010 09:59

DD liked the penguins and the soft play. That was about it We went with friends though for their ds's birthday, so were a bit tied to certain things iyswim? Would probably be a better day out if it was just us, letting DD go where she wanted.

NormaSknockers · 16/02/2010 10:00

Not much hells, a tsp of syrup is only 0.5 point as it's basically just sugar

NormaSknockers · 16/02/2010 10:03

DD loves the penguin feed, they cae right up to us last time It is nice just to wander where you fancy, the road train is fab too!

traceybath · 16/02/2010 10:03

Morning. Another very disturbed night with ds2 running a very high temperature again - seems to have perked up a little but very cuddly which although lovely means I am getting nothing done.

Well weighed myself for first time in a few days and seem to have lost another pound - am I finally entering the stage of bf where you lose weight without trying?? Don't actually want to lose much more weight as am a little under goal but guess it gives me some lee-way (is that a word - looks odd written down).

Alice - have you looked in next for a cheapish mat dress or new look?

Had forgotten it was pancake day - oh well thats dinner sorted.

hellsbelles · 16/02/2010 10:07

come on - put me out of my paranoia - has something happened to the FB cult or have I been culled

NormaSknockers · 16/02/2010 10:09

Well done on the loss Tracey!!

Hells it's working for me, what are your initals??

Lizzylou · 16/02/2010 10:15

Hells, of course you've not done anything wrong, you were posting on it last night, weren't you?

Fanny, I live in East Lancs, in a valley in the middle of the frigging hills. Next time we move I will chuck away all details of "semi-rural" houses, unless we get a Monster truck.

Tracey, you go steady now, you'll waste away!

Took an hour to get boys packed off, but snow seems to be clearing, hoping for an early finish and a sneaky gym session (it is at same place as DS1's football camp thingy).

Norma, pity about the zoo, but Mcdonalds is a massive treat here as well, so will make up for it.

Pancake Day, hmm, hadn't forgotten, but do need some eggs.

hellsbelles · 16/02/2010 10:21

Lizzy - yup it was working last night. Maybe it was because I was posting about unsubstantiated gossip

Norma I'm HL. I'll check again later.

Tracey - yes - be careful on the weight loss - remember you are at your target. Gaunt is not a good look.

Lizzylou · 16/02/2010 10:26

Hells, you are still listed on there, have just checked.
Go to your profile and groups that you are on and click on the shiney thread from there (it's what I had to do.......)

hellsbelles · 16/02/2010 10:28

thanks Lizzy - I did that before. I think it's just facebook playing up. I"ll try in a bit.

Rather sweet that he was so pleased to see you!

TrillianAstra · 16/02/2010 10:37

Easiest to just start typing 'shine...' into the search bar at the top of facebook - it'll autofind the Shiney cult.

MyCatIsABastard · 16/02/2010 10:43

Morning everyone. Glad to see MN back online.

I'll go and catch up.

Lizzylou · 16/02/2010 10:45

MyCat! Well done

Alice, sorry, forgot to say, I think your planned wedding outfit sounds lovely.

hellsbelles · 16/02/2010 10:51

thanks all. I've found it now - for some reason it's just not listing under my bit that says what I'm a member of

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 16/02/2010 10:57

very odd hells.

Why am i in a hyperactive smiling mood when i have had no sleep and have far too much too do?

hellsbelles · 16/02/2010 11:03

that does happen though doesn't it - sometimes with no sleep you get a sort of nervous energy - I get it - sort of like a caffine 'high' almost. I hope tonight is more restful for you.

MyCatIsABastard · 16/02/2010 11:06

Yank a holiday sounds fantastic.

bella - I have done that with clothes with DH (lied about the price). He's not funny about things really and it is all our money (we do everything joint) but sometimes I feel like I've spent too much and then I fib and then I fib to everyone else, just in case

vinny, hope you feel better soon

travelling, I'm thinking I should take DD to the pictures one day, but have horrors of her running around like a loon. Hope your trip is fun and your ears dont bleed too much

Fab well done on the weight loss

Sazz who you meeting now? YOu should get an award for the best MN Networker or something. Have a lovely day.

Alice, hope the cardiogram goes well.

hells, I think I can claim the evening primrose oil reminder. It is bloody marvelous. I have turned from a banshee loon for 5 days of the month to something resembling normality. And it makes me feel better the rest of the time! DH & DD in particular are feeling the benefit of happier mum and wife

tracey well done on the weight loss.

Thanks for the congrats everyone on the job, I am very pleased. I have been cheeky though and tried to see if they'll up the money and the length of the contract . I live by the maxim 'you don't get unless you ask' , they interviewed me knowing what I was after and have then offered less than that. I shall still take the job but thought I'd see if I can get more first
