yay DEM

BOF - that is pretty pants! I have an 02 dongle is Vinnys is no good??

bloomin kids! First day of half term and drove past soft play area with the intention of going in - that was until we saw how many others had the same idea, so we didnt and went to the park instead.

Me, trying to be all supermum and all that, had brought the porta potty for mini, which she duly used and thought it was fab. Meanwhile, Junior was messing on the roundabout with PA, and yup - she wet herself I was not happy - she has kidney reflux so sitting in the car for the 40 mins it was going to take us to get home would not be a good idea, so off we shot to asda to get some clean pants and trackie bottoms - all for the bargain price of £4

I have now told junior that when we are out and about, and i mini uses her potty, i will offer it to her aswell - in front of everyone

hellsbelles · 15/02/2010 18:02

Dem! Hurrah.

BOF - you shall have to play charades and sing parlour songs

But agree with Trills really - get thee some boxed sets on DVD.

Poor little knocker....hope he's better for the zoo t/m.

Shiney - I was saying to DH that I was so pissed off with all these faithless men. Bloody ridiculous. Though according to the sleb twaddle threads A cole (amazing what that rhymes with) is a FOD anyway and the marriage to Cheryl is all a big set up - to avoid that coming out. So perhaps this is to add extra fuel to his 'hetro' status.

bellavita · 15/02/2010 18:38

Well done Fab!

Oh poor DS Norma. Hope you have a good time at the zoo.

£4 sounds a bargain jet!

We had homemade chicken and veg soup for tea - nice and thick. DH has dumplings with his (in fact I would normally do too) - I looked at the saturated fat on the packet I got a bloody shock, I new it would be high, but not as high as it is, I had two slices of weight watchers bread with mine instead. I have two points left, so may indulge in peeling an orange soon.

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 16/02/2010 06:56

Oh that fuck for that. They've fixed MN!!!

Tis just a shame that i havent actually been asleep yet... have just read a lovely book from start to end in one sitting. that mkes two in one week. Not done that in ages. Must go grab a little bit of kip before off the see the doc.

Have a nice day and catch ya later.

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 16/02/2010 07:09

Thank fuck i mean of course. Good to see the old sleep deprived brain is functioning properally breakfast then bed for an hour.

VinegarTits · 16/02/2010 07:33

Blimey, i think thats the least amount of posts in one night on this thread, ever! was MN broke or something

well i am ILL again, i have a sore throat and a temperature and feel like a bag of shite! so i am taking ds to nursery then going back to bed

DreamsInBinary · 16/02/2010 07:43

THANK. GOD.

Ouch, DEM!

What was the book?

Sorry to hear you are illing, Vinny. A day in bed should sort it right out.

travellingwilbury · 16/02/2010 07:48

Hello all , MN should break more often , it is much easier to catch up

Off to the cinema today . Boys first time (3 and 6 ) , we are all a bit too excited quite frankly when you think it is just Alvin and the stupi chipmunks . I know his voice is going to make my ears bleed .

VT I hope you manage to get some sleep this morning and feel better .

Lizzylou · 16/02/2010 07:53

For the love of God and all who is holy, woke to fucking snow!
DH has just managed to get up hill on second attempt (lots of cars stuck midway), so hopefully I will manage it in in an hour when I attempt to drop boys off.

I had such a good work day yesterday as well.

Bloody snow.

Hope you feel better, Vinny.

Enjoy the cinema Travelling.

DEM,I used to do that with books, these days it takes me months to finish books.

bellavita · 16/02/2010 08:09

Morning

Vinny - you need the lovin' of a good man and a really nice holiday somewhere warm - that should do the trick.

Travelling, although my boys are a lot older than yours, they asked to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks at christmas - they thoroughly enjoyed it. We are going to see Avatar on Thursday.

Busy today, the boys are going swimming and with a friends two children and we are going for a coffee. DS1 has a dr's appointment this afternoon and somewhere inbetween I need to make a curry for tea, finish doing a fruit cake which needs 5 hours in the bloody oven and tidy up.

Love you all - catch up later.

bellavita · 16/02/2010 08:11

Oh lordy snow Lizzy last time you mentioned that word, it came my way remember.....

Bella, this has been a bit of a shock for us, hope you don't get it.
Think we are going to leave late for the CM/Football camp, it has taken DH 30mins to go 1 mile!
Plus the later we leave it the more likely it is we get up that pissing hill (sorry but am heartily sick of this buggering valley).

Sazz, you are a meet up queen! Hope you have fun.

I don't ache today after spinning, do you think that is because I went on the Fat Wobbler (I refuse to be sensible and call it a POwer PLate!) or because I am now well fit, or because I didn't push myself hard enough?
Whatever, am glad, last week I was waddling like a duck or a toddler with a filled nappy

VinegarTits · 16/02/2010 08:25

Your right i need a damn good rogering man and a holiday sex on the beach

Who are you meeting Saz?

YanknCock · 16/02/2010 08:28

Fab, that is....well fab! Any loss is good. When I want to beat myself up about slow loss, I just think about how I'd feel if that weight had gone in the other direction.

Jet, so are we doing a day trip to meet up in Leeds then? Are you free during the week? Is it DEM that's in the area as well? I'm a bit broke till 26 Feb, but then am free for the next month other than Mon 8th March (Manchester MN meetup) and Tuesdays am generally busy with baby groups etc.

Lizzylou · 16/02/2010 08:29

Roger is always very busy on here, isn't he?

YOu deserve a holiday somewhere nice with a lovely fling with a hot diving instructor called Juan or summat, Vinny.

hen you must come home and tell us all about it, in the manner of a slightly racier Mills and Boon

TrillianAstra · 16/02/2010 09:00

Morning. DIdn't sleep well last night so will be a bit later in work - why is it that you always find a ncie bit of sleep just before teh alarm goes off?

Alicetheinvisible · 16/02/2010 09:13

Morning [smille]

It must be that sort of morning Trills, couldn't get out of bed

Sorry i haven't been about, zoo on sunday, bit of a nightmare and fecking cold, and yesterday i had to go back to the hospital for my echocardiogram which i think went well. The thing they found on the ECG is called Persistant Juvenile T wave something, but just an incidental finding of no real consequence.

It is Pancake day!!!!! Yay!

Also going to try really hard to get on my horse today, i haven't ridden since about the beginning of december(ish) and if i don't get back on soon, i will be unable to until after the baby is born.

This week i need to find an outfit for FIL's wedding on saturday not going to be easy... I am thinking of one of my stretchy 'tea' dresses, but with a long sleeved top underneath and a cardigan, and woolly tights? With black wedge mary jane shoes? Please help?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/02/2010 09:13

Morning all.

Well done Fab on your loss.

Lizzy where do you live to get all this snow.

My days of reading a book in one sitting have gone, I usually nod off.

Well raining here, so sent DD off to B&Q with DH as I was going to take her out on her bike this afternoon. We are going swimming later so at least she will get to do something. She is now quite keen on doing downhill skiing as well as the Luge, so guess she is going to be a high octaine girl when she is older.

Banana bread baking today and putting stuff away.

wastingaway · 16/02/2010 09:15

Well done Fab!

Well done Lizzy, you are clearly getting fitter.

Poor Vin.

Have fun those cinema and swimming bound.

If I get my arse into gear, we're going to walk into town and buy some fish on the market.

Oh, I was going to do American style pancakes for breakfast! Doh! We'll be having pancakes a la Delia later though.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 16/02/2010 09:16

TW - enjoy the cinema, DD and me (note not DH) are off to see the Princess and the Frog tomorrow.

FabIsGoingToBeFabIn2010 · 16/02/2010 09:24

Morning all

Just walked the neighbours dog so that was 25 minutes waking I wouldn't normally have done.

Now prepping lamb and onions in red wione sauce for dinner.

I am tucking into an Atkins milk chocolate shake and it isn't very nice. Bought on a whim and thankfully I only bought one.

We were meant to be going welly shopping and maybe to see the PIL but I have to wait in for a delivery now. Will bake for the kids instead and tidy up.
