Blimey, that's good! I have been sober since Monday. The appeal wanes after about two days with me though. Will try to be good this week.

Yep, what is it with all these I-blame-my-parents-for-buying-me-the-wrong-hamster threads? Some people are just determined to be mizzers.

evening ladies.

DEM here. still got 10kg to lose not very motivated, very stressed, very busy, very tired, very much in pain.

Hopefully will be about but not very likely until half term... on the next thread then.

Catch up when i am in a far more positive mood...

YanknCock · 10/02/2010 19:40

I'm Yank and I also have a shedload to lose.

I never know what to say as far as how much I have lost.

I've not ever put my actual weight on here (though if you were crafty you could work it out by what I've said about my height and BMI)...but I think it's time to be totally honest about it. So here's the rundown:

Most I've ever weighed (not pregnant): 18st 0lbs in May 2008. I lost a stone going to WW meetings, then got pregnant, miscarried, and got pregnant again within a few months. Started at 17st 2lbs in second pregnancy.

Most I've ever weighed (pregnant): 19st 3lbs in August 2009. I was back to prepregnancy weight after just two weeks, but then went up to 17st 11lbs again by November 2009, which is when I started WW online/hanging out on the Shiney threads regularly.

What I weigh now: 17st 3.4lbs. So basically it has taken me 3 months to lose just half a stone Must try harder!!!!

Least I've ever weighed in adulthood): 10st 9lbs when I was 19 (am 33 now!)

My goal: 10st 7lbs. Puts me just into the 'normal' BMI category.

(not in that way, you bunch of pervs)

BitOfFun · 10/02/2010 19:40

I double dare you, Reality

Can you throw in a bit about not understanding why your husband ever has to share airspace with the mother of his children and imply she is fat too?

BOF - couldn't agree more. What a bizzare thread? I cannot bear self indulgent twaddle like that (although I regular partake in it myself...double standards and all )

BitOfFun · 10/02/2010 20:06

Fabulous thread here...I am sure some mizzer will come and tell you off though

bellavita · 10/02/2010 20:07

Sazz, yes I know it is bank holiday... but I expect to be accommodated when I need it . Where it fell down was we wanted somewhere with an indoor pool so we were limited to start with.

Am sorted now > after hours and hours of being on this damn thing.

Frantically waves to everyone.

bellavita · 10/02/2010 20:09

Shit, DH has just gone to the garage to get some iceceam for the boys and the snow has fallen and fallen and laid...... thick.

morning y'all.

dp has taken locks off door and is now positively DEMANDING that you lot come round and nick Mole because she NEVER SLEEPS AT NIGHT. ARGH.

Need to lose circa 3 stone. DD pointed at my stomach yesterday and said 'is there a baby in there mummy?' no bloody presents for her birthday tomorrow the gutter snipe.

Shines - what's up poppet?

BOF- Giving birth etc has not dulled my girl pash for you

traceybath · 10/02/2010 20:19

Sympathy Shiney - poor all of you.

BOF - I'm afraid I'm crap at being sypathetic - am far too 'stuff and nonsense' pull yourself together school of thought.

DH and I get on so well because we're both quite shallow I think - you know, we just get on with stuff.

Not to devalue people who have real problems but some people do just like to moan.

God - just read that back and I sound a total cow. I am nice really but save my sympathy for people who are really in dreadful situations.

BitOfFun · 10/02/2010 20:19

Oh Shiney- I'd be fuming too

Bloody hell.

Defluff- I keep thinking of vajazzling my vajay-jay every time I see your name.

Rightyho, just before I click "buy" someone tell me that it is the Raddison Edwardian that I want?
My god there's a pool.
Is anyone else likely to need a bed coz if so I'll click twin rather than double.

Defluffmyfanjo · 10/02/2010 20:28

BoF - mine is one of the 7 wonders of the world I swear - it starts at my head hair line and finishes at my toes. Now my bump has 'sort of' gone I keep thinking I must defluff but I don't know where to start.

You can (whispers) plait it. Well, not you you obviously, I mean me. I'll get my coat

MyCatIsABastard · 10/02/2010 20:29

Bloody lovely tortillas from DH - good man!!!

Yank, I started losing weight at 17st 5lb, I have no idea what I was at 9mths pregnant, way too scared to stand on the scales. I've lost the weight on WW too. I wrote everything down that I ate and that really helped. Good on you and half a stone off is great!

Shiney - poor DD. I think it is something to do with DD's. Mine will only ever learn by doing it herself and will not ever ever be sodding well told

FiveGoMadInDorset · 10/02/2010 20:31

Evening all

Have just put on 2.5 so back to 17st 4.5, Yank, it is going very slowly for me too.

BitOfFun · 10/02/2010 20:36

EEK, have got a problem- need your advice ladies please...

13 year old dd went out to see Avatar tonight, with "Becky".

Except dss has seen her at the train station and grassed her up. It was Harry, who she claimed dumped her a couple of weeks ago.

I wouldn't have minded her going on a date.

I bloody do mind her lying to me though . I mean, what is the point?!! I am a nice chilled mum.

She is going skiing with the school on Friday, so I can't ground her immediately. But I'm fucking annoyed and disappointed. I used to lie to my mum about boys, but she was well strict. What do I do?
