Shiney - I don't really count that as moaning. It was a justified comment!

I am meeting my SIL's new chap for the first time this morning (they are coming to us). She has had the most shiteous time so I'm hoping he's wonderful.

She married her childhood sweetheart...they had two lovely boys and when she had her third (boy again) something went really wrong. He just walked out when the baby was about 3 months old. No affair (apparently) just some sort of early mid life crises. Needless to say being left with 3 boys under 7 and with PND is not a very nice place to be.

She's always wanted him back. And guess what -3 years later he finally agreed to at christmas - only for her discover that actually she didn't want him (now of course he wants her - why is it always this way?!)

So she's finally met someone else and we are all hoping and praying that he is lovely, kind and straightforward!

VinegarTits · 13/02/2010 09:48

morning, i cant take these early mornings anymore, finnster was awake at 6.45, we got up and i have lounged on the sofa dying ever since [bleary eyed emotion]

got to shape up now though as we are going for a nice long walk along the beach with my parents at 11, might try and persuade them that it would be nice to have ds2 come stay with them tonight

I got bored of chatting to the 25 yr and told him 'oops got to go, hubbys home'

hellsbelles · 13/02/2010 09:51

Vinny - that's our wake up time too

Now tell us - how did the 25 find you? Did he just see your lovely picture and get in touch?

VinegarTits · 13/02/2010 09:55

aparantly, i am on some fb app called 'are you interested'
he saw my pic and added me

Lizzylou · 13/02/2010 09:56

Morning all, at work, went to the gym last night, was good. Feeling it today.
No movement on the scales though......
Goober, you have a white dog and an exotic sounding surname, yes? You are on my FB list (Gobber is v confused now!).

Yank, meant to say, if you needed any help with CV or have skills that a Law firm would need, FB me and I may be able to help....

DH and boys are shopping today as they have "plans" for a spoil Lizzy day tomorrow, hope that means a lie in until midday and lots of chocolates and wine.

VinegarTits · 13/02/2010 10:01

Alicetheinvisible · 13/02/2010 10:09

Morning ladies

My confession.....I had the leftover cake and a handful of cow biscuits for breakfast my excuse is that the ms is back today (probably something to do with DD stinking the house out and the cat having an accident )

Drinking tea now and feeling vaguely normal, just trying to get some enthusiasm to go into town. Need to get DH a valentines card.

We are going to the Zoo tomorrow, so need to be a bit organised today so you shouldn't see me too much this weekend. Will be back next week needing fashion advice though

Have a good weekend all

MyCatIsABastard · 13/02/2010 10:24

Good morning. Hope your all well. Today my snot monster has seemingly moved around my face and I have a swollen eye, sore throat and one swollen gland in my neck. I am looking very very attractive at the moment.

I am now in bed whilst DD is swimming with DH and DS is having a nap.

I intend to ignore the monster of snot after this morning and get on with life. I will NOT be ill for my birthday.

Shiney I liked the cringey comments thread last night. I have, however, learnt far more than I ever wanted to about some very odd sexual practices. Who the hell does those things! I have a pretty good imagination but those were way beyond anything I could ever have thought of (thank god).

Right, I am off to sleep then eat fruit and veg like a bloody starving rabbit. Catch you later.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 13/02/2010 10:49

Good morning all.

MyCat hope you are better for your big day next week, it's Wednesday isn't it?

I am the mother of a 4 year old.
Today - swimming
Sunday - B&Q (my shopping trip)
Monday - shopping for DD's riding boots
Tuesday - swimming with DD's friends
Wednesday - shopping for presents for DD's friends
Thursday - hopefully she is going to a freind so I can do some work
Friday - Cinema with DD
Saturday - DD's friends birthday party
Sunday - DD's first riding lesson.

And here I was a few days ago wondering how I was going to get through the week.

TrillianAstra · 13/02/2010 11:06

Morning all. Was out last night. Will try to catch up. I like that you call them cow biscuits Alice, I assume we're talking malted milk here rather than any cow-version of dog biscuits

bellavita · 13/02/2010 11:07

Morning

Just got back from the Seat garage. They are going to sort DH's car out for free - nice man who pimped my car a few weeks ago said seen as we have two Seats, we are good customers and I suppose they think if they keep us sweet, we will buy our next cars from there. Oooh and I got to sit in a Ferrari - was nice. They told DH they would give him a good price for his car if he bought the Ferrari!

I now have a dilema - last night DH said he would buy me an I-Phone. Today, in the car dealership, there was a car same as mine all pimped up with body kit on it and two huge exhausts - would cost a total of about £2000 to order it and then fit it - all paint needs to be matched etc. He said if I wanted that doing to my car, he would go halves with me or I can have the phone. What do you think?

Shiney, how are you doing with the WW Online? I am going to join today.

bellavita · 13/02/2010 11:10

I like malted milk biscuits.

Fanny - busy week uh!

FiveGoMadInDorset · 13/02/2010 11:15

Very exciting news, my lovely cousin and his wife are expecting there second baby. First was done by IVF, twins but one died 24 hours after brith which they sadly knew was going to happen, this one was all ther own work

TrillianAstra · 13/02/2010 11:22

You ae kidding right Bella? iPhone so much better than 'pimping out' your car. Unless it's actualy going to make it faster, you don't see the body kit etc when you're on the inside.

Sorry you're still feeeling yuck MyCat.

TrillianAstra · 13/02/2010 11:25

Oh, and I looked at your corsets Alice, they looked lovely, but I had to stop looking as I can't really justify £200 on something that I couldn't even wear out in public.

TrillianAstra · 13/02/2010 11:41

DP is laughing at me and saying 'you really don't care about cars do you?'

Alicetheinvisible · 13/02/2010 12:07

I agree with Trills with the car Bella. Just seems a bit of a teenage boy thing to do iyswim? sorry

Trills - i think you would get your money's worth

Can i just say to the people giving me filthy looks and muttering under their breath in town:

My daughter is not mistreated, or have behaviour problems. She is TWO YEARS OLD. This is why she screams and strops when she doesn't want to do something. I am NOT a bad mother for ignoring the screaming. It is my INFORMED choice of dealing with the situation. Neither am i the 12 year old mother that is so obviously a drain on society. So FUCK THE FUCK OFF

Oh, and thank to the lovely ladies in Claires that smiled and said how ignoring was the only way to deal with it.

TrillianAstra · 13/02/2010 12:11

You just look so lovely and youthful Alice, the old bags are jealous of your dewy glow and think you are a teenage mother.

Alicetheinvisible · 13/02/2010 12:18

I really felt like crying, normally i would give them this look and say in my poshest voice "Come along Darling, lets go to the Library/Park/Waitrose" but today i am feeling hormonal and a bit sensitive. We then went to iceland to get CapriSun, JellyTots and MiniChedders. (just to fit the stereotype you know )

Think i am a bit nervous about going to the zoo tomorrow. It is one of my best friend's ds birthday day out. My friend is lovely, but i always feel so rubbish next to her. She is so cabable and her children eat lots of healthy stuff out of choice.

bellavita · 13/02/2010 12:26

No Trills, I wasn't kidding

I-phone it is then....

I so hate it when people judge when you have little ones and they are having a tantrum.

What lovely news Fanny.

Years ago, a chap I worked with - his bezzie mate and wife had triplets by IVF - in fact they appeared on "Jimmy's" with another couple who were having triplets. They were told it would be something like a zillion to one chance that they would ever get pregnant by themselves. She caught on by herself when the triplets were less than a year old.

TrillianAstra · 13/02/2010 12:41

Sorry Bella, didn't mean in a bad way, just meant that if I had that choice it would be very very easy.
