Morning

I have officially lost.... be it only half a pound. So I have lost 4lbs altogether. I will be trying extra hard this week (not that I haven't been trying the last 3 weeks ) but writing all the points down does definitely help.

Tired this morning and I need to leave at 9.30 instead of 11.30 so had better to crack on.

Thank you for Dancing Queen Norma

DreamsInBinary · 02/02/2010 07:36

Bella - you've kick-started it!

Hope last night was better, Shiney.

Jac - am dying to see the swishy new 'do. Upload quickly!

My calves are tight today after Sunday's humiliation aerobics, but other than that I seem to be alright. How Sazzles manages all that exercise I will never know

How many times do you think I can watch Kung Fu Panda without going insane?
Not. Many. More.

bellavita · 02/02/2010 07:42

Hi DIB

I am looking forward to seeing jaq's new hair too.

Kung Fu Panda - never watched it so I couldn't possibly comment

Calves being tight - that is good yes? I don't know how Sazz does it either - very determined girl that one!

FlamingoBingo · 02/02/2010 07:51

Hello new thread!

I'm Flamingo. I've lost, um, 1st 12lb and I have stopped. Just stopped. I'm pretty fed up about it, however I am delighted that I'm now 'normal weight'. I would like to lose another 1/2 stone ideally, and be a size 8 (currently just under a size 10 down from a 14, but too big to wear size 8s comfortably)

Children's choir this morning.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 02/02/2010 07:59

I am Mitts...

I am on an adventure to discover a new me as I crash through middle age (lolol!)

I have some weight to lose.....

Today, I will mostly be eating.......dog chews..!

Norma ((( )))

Jet, I hope things are sorted for you today, at least it isn't quite so cold...

I had horrible, horrible nightmares..
but am sure I will perk up soon.

Am in a total grump this morning, sorry.

Well done on the loss, Bella.

Sending massive hugs and love to Norma x

MitsubishiWarrioress · 02/02/2010 08:42

Alright Lizzy? Sorry you are not having a good start to the day. There's no need to apologise, we all have times like that and I hope we can perhaps do something to help or lift your spirits.

bellavita · 02/02/2010 08:49

Lizzy - what's up? Anything we can do?

for the nightmares Mitts.

Thinking of you Norma.

Poor you Sazz being woken up.

bellavita · 02/02/2010 08:55

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAQ X

NormaSknockers · 02/02/2010 09:02

Morning girls,

Thank you for your thoughts not holding it together all that well right, would have been better if DH were not acting like a total shithead. The poor wee lamb is tired & so sees fit to be grumpy & grunt at me, so I gues his thoughtful text last night of 'I'll be there for you tomorrow it'll be ok' was pretty damn meaningless. Sorry to come here & moan but I really hoped he'd actually bother to show just a little compassion. I shouldn't moan because generally he's a lovely guy but he seems to really let me down at times like this. Shit, crying again now.

Sorry.

Jaq happy birthday, hope you have a good one can't wait to see the new hair!

Lizzy hope you're ok?

Do you have nightmares often, Mitts? Horrible for you to have had such a disturbed night.

Alicetheinvisible · 02/02/2010 09:16

Good luck today Norma, i will keep everything crossed for you (your DH may be being an idiot because he is worried about you Norma, tell him to not be so soft )

Happy Birthday JAQ

Mitts - hope your nightmares get forgotten in the cold light of day.

Feel rough this morning. I didn't drink enough yesterday (very bad about drinking enough) so got a headache, so instead of drinking lots through the evening or taking some pills i went to bed feeling dehydrated and with a banging head. Still have a banging head this morning (such an idiot) so if you see me on here shout at me to get a drink - thanks

FlamingoBingo · 02/02/2010 09:33

Oh yes, good luck for today, Norma.

Thinking of you.

hellsbelles · 02/02/2010 09:34

morning all,

I'm Hells, spurred on by my fellow cult members I started on the South Beach diet in early Jan and have so far lost about 9 lbs. I'm now on phase 2 so weight loss has slowed down but jeans are looser, energy is better and I will get to my target weight of 9 1/2 stone by end of Feb! (and I may have to actually do some exercise - inspired by Sazz)

Norma as you have been told by our crystal ball gazing leader....all will be well...you have the combined will power of all of us so it should work.

Lizzy, Mitts, Alice...sorry you are feeling horrid. I had a shite night too as I think DD has caught Ted's bug (!) but I'm pretending to myself I can survive on 3 hours sleep. And trying to be chirpy. I won't last.

Georgi - what a wonderful work friend. And about DH but maybe it's too painful for him to remember (I don't mean that it isn't too painful for you - I just wonder if some find it easier to do it that way)? I know DH was very much that way.

Where is Yank? Is she o.k?

Now how much did shiney lose? Was it 2 lbs in 3 weeks, 3 lbs in 2 weeks or 11 IBLS IN 2 WEEKS

Lizzylou · 02/02/2010 09:36
MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 02/02/2010 10:54

SHINEY - SORRY . I got 3lb on my brain Its 11LB in 2WKS. Very impressive. I'm obviously and couldn't bring myself to type it properly.

I hope your all OK. DS was fed, given nurofen and then eventually came into our bed last night. Anything for some peace!

I'm off to catch up on thread now and will be back!

FlamingoBingo · 02/02/2010 10:58

I'm sinking

Surfaced for half an hour to make bread dough with the DDs, but my enthusiasm has waned and black dog has wandered back in again.

Hoping I can muster enough strength to surface again - I have a very long day to get through today.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 02/02/2010 11:07

I'm MyCat (yes, he is a bastard). I have lost 4 1/2 stone since last March on WW. Been stuck for the last 2 mths though but it is now coming off again slowly! I am subconsciously jealous of Shiney's online WW loss and could not bring myself to type 11LB IN 2WEEKS properly last night . I am 40 (40 FGS!!!) in 16 days time (GULP!)

Happy Birthday Jaq (a fellow Aquarian).

Norma - I'm sure all will go well today.

FB - Whats the matter? Kick the black dog up the arse, in fact I'll set my bastard cat on it! Don't think about the long day ahead, break it into chunks and only think of the next hr or 2. It's what I do when I can't cope sometimes and it really helps (((hugs))) for you.

Sazzles - not tried the Turkish place, where is it? There is a fab Greek restaurant in Gloucester, just off Kingsholm Rd you should try, v nice.

I should be reading up on the company I am interviewing for but am feeling to nervous to do it. How stupid is that! I'm a capable woman but suddenly feel like a 16yr old revising for her exams and feeling all nervous!

FlamingoBingo · 02/02/2010 11:19

Thanks MyCat. I don't know what the matter is. I think I really am just bobbing at the edge of depression at the moment - have had quite a few bad days lately. I'm hoping it's the end of winter and things'll look brighter as the Spring comes.

I'm considering having a go at some of that free online CBT. I've got to do something. The trouble is, when I'm well, I forget about it. When I'm ill, I become self-destructive and just can't do the things I know I need to do to survive.

Remind me where you'll be working if you get this job? Is it Chelt?

I prefer Thai and Chinese food - I think the only Greek food I've ever had is some deep fried octopus tentacles from a Greek bloke in my halls of residence at Uni!
