NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 20:56

Ooo Ooo I have a new thread title idea "Come & join the Healthy Eating thread & let the slimmer you SHINE through"

Georgimama · 01/02/2010 20:57

That's a good one! Is it new thread time? Is there a special ritual for who starts them off? I think you should start it.

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 20:59

My DH is the same, utteraly appalling with dates he always gets DDs birthday wrong It doesn't make them care any less they're just not built the same as us girlies

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 21:00

We're not far off a new one, no, no ritual just whoever can be arsed at the time usually!

Lizzylou · 01/02/2010 21:01

Oh Georgi, you poor thing, what a lovely colleague you have, lovely thing to do. I'm sorry I had no idea. I agree with DIB, men don't attach meaning to dates etc, it's not that they don't care, they just don't deal with things in the way we do.

Norma, am sure all will be well.

And yes, I agree re: crying, I am a great believer in letting it all out. When I don't cry or rant and rave, that is when I worry.

And please no-one worry about "bringing the thread down", that is so just not true. The lovely thing about this thread is that we can talk about health issues, cock, weightloss, cock, bereavement, 0% yoghurt, make up and relationship issues.
I am clumsily trying to say that we are all here to chat, about anything. Cock in the main, a bit of healthy eating but anything and everything else too

Georgimama · 01/02/2010 21:03

Did someone say cock?

DreamsInBinary · 01/02/2010 21:04

Spot on, Lizzy

Perfect title, Norma. Go for it!

Lizzylou · 01/02/2010 21:06

Georgi
I still clicked on it........have I learnt nothing on this thread?????

DreamsInBinary · 01/02/2010 21:06

GAHHHH!!

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 21:07

PMSL I clicked on it too

And very well put Lizzy!

Lizzylou · 01/02/2010 21:08

Yep Norma, you are the TWAT for this next thread

(cannot remember what TWAT stood for now)

Oh, and you do have a look of Liv Tyler.

Don't ever meet my DH, esp if you have Elven ears a la Lord of the Rings, he was infatuated with her in those films

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 21:08

Anyone remember what thread umber we're on? Once we hit page 40 I'll set it up

Georgimama · 01/02/2010 21:10

scroll down on the link, someone has drawn a subtle interpretation of the thing in all its unrestrained glory....

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 21:11

I don't see myself Lizzy, my auntie & some dude I went to collage with said I looked like her but I've never seen it!

Hoorah - I am TWAT

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 21:12

Goodness it's very.....erm pink isn't it!

jetcatisfrozen · 01/02/2010 21:16

georgi at the link, but at the anniversary. Cant be easy

And Norma - i think we all worry at some point that we are bringing the thread down, and you are straight there telling us not to be so daft, so right back at you You just take care and reflect in the fact that we all are very fond of you and take care

Wow DEM, thats some travelling! Are you doing a PGCE (sorry, crap memory and all that)

and thanks all for the encouraging words re cycling - i have no idea if that is actually better than long walks, but at least i can do this when mini is watching dora and peppa pig for the umpteenth time fast asleep in bed

Lizzylou · 01/02/2010 21:20

Jet is right, Norma, you are always so caring and encouraging, only right that we are here for you n all.

I think the Liv thing is the lips, you have a very full mouth (I won't bring the tone down with the male version of having a full mouth ), definitely see a likeness though.

Jet, 40 mins of cycling a day is fab, don't make light of it!

Just had pineapple, blueberries and 0% yog, it was lovely. But it wasn't chocolate

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 01/02/2010 21:21

OK - I have now caught up!

Sazzles - went out in Cheltenham on Friday. A few wines then on to Ask for some pasta (which, I may have to admit, is where the 3lb came from!)

Bella - cake looks beautiful, you are very clever.

Alice - congratulations on the 12weeks, and in fact on the pregnancy (I missed that somewhere, sorry)

Norma - I hope your appt goes well.

BOF - I hope you feel better soon

Shiney - Bloody well done on you 3LB IN 2 WEEKS (definitely NOT 3 WEEKS!). Keep it up girl.

Thank you all for the good luck on Thursday. Not sure how I feel about it all tbh. Really want to get the freelancing going, but if I get this job it means that DH can work on setting up his business whilst I support us, which in the long run is the better thing.

DS is screaming now, I think he's teething and also on a growth spurt, I love it when they do that!

Catch you soon!

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 21:21

I think it's just as good Jet & at least you can do it indoors even in crappy weather!

Thanks Jet, I do love being to waffle away on here

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 21:25

Lizzy at the full lips! And thank you for letting me prattle away on here.

MyCat, hope it all goes well on Thursday & you're bale to get what you want & need from it. Hope DS settles down for you, got any Medised/Nurophen to hand?

DH doesn't get it when I cry he always say 'But you're not in any physical pain & that's the only reason for crying I can understand' He doesn't mean it a horrid way he just doesn't get it when I cry!
