And I am sorry that Ted kept you awake

Lizzylou · 01/02/2010 16:50

Shiney, 11lbs is a FAB loss, yes, it will slow down now, but bloody well stick with it!

We didn't put on this weight in a few weeks did we? We need to think of it as a healthy diet/plan for the long term. Try and eat some different food to stop you getting bored (still within your points, obviously), perhaps do an exercise DVD/go for a walk/swim. Get a little variety and you won't be bored.

Aah, Medised, the relief that that stuff can bring!

Hells, good on you for your loose jeans.

Thanks ladies.

shiney - if any of us said we had lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks you would be telling us how brilliant we were (and we would indeed be brilliant!)...please don't give up.

But poor Ted, poor you - tiredness always makes everything seem 100 times worse.

Lizzylou · 01/02/2010 16:59

Trills is right, Shiney, you can allow some treats (as long as you carry points over whatever), anything to help you to stick with it.

You are doing so well.

Shiney - don't you dare give up now

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 17:13

Guess what me & the DC are having for dinner after all todays talk

Shiney sorry Ted kept you up all, hate the 'scream til they're sick' tantrums, DS does that too, usually when DH is at work

TrillianAstra · 01/02/2010 17:16

Shiney desn't drink tea. There are a lot of things Shiney doesn't eat.

Do not give up. You are in control of what you eat, not the other way around.

Sausages and mash, Norma?

Shiney, sorry, I didn't catch that, was it 11lbs in 2 WEEKS??????????? Or 3??

Either way, you are doing fab, do not give up now.

Have a look at the recipe/meal ideas on the WW site (am sure they have something like that), that may inspire you?

Boys enjoyed their picnic.
DH is watching football tonight with his Dad (so not that ill then? ) so I bought some sushi for me, then will have pineapple, blueberries and 0% total.

Alicetheinvisible · 01/02/2010 17:34

Hello

Shiney you are doing amazingly, one day at a time then it will be past 3weeks

Helles - party food: Chocolate spread sandwiches go down very well, crisps, babybels, grapes and cold pizza (just cheapy cheese and tomato from iceland or somewhere) Lots of squash, and kids prefer fairy cakes to a slice of cake. Hope that helps

Cardiologist was a complete waste of time as i expected. I had another ECG, then saw the Dr who basically said what the Dr in A&E had said. The ECG results showed something that is quite common in teenagers, but not so much in adults. But she wouldn't explain anymore and wants me to go back again for an echo (scan of the heart) just to rule anything out. I am tempted to not bother though.

I have earned some good mummy points this afternoon by making some jelly with Daisy, tangerine flavour and we put some chopped up some grapes in it. Yum Yum.

Jacket potatoes and tuna mayo for dinner, and i think i will have a Shape yoghurt for afters (pack of 4 for 99p in Waitrose)

TrillianAstra · 01/02/2010 17:40

Sorry Shiney, I didn't quite catch how much you lost. Though technically that is since you started the thread in May...

traceybath · 01/02/2010 17:46

Hells - well done on loose jeans - does that mean you'll need some new ones .

Shiney - what do you have in your wardrobe that you want to get back into - go and try it on and then hang in your bedroom so you can see it - well it works for me

BOF - hope you feel better soon.

Sazz, you are superhuman! Well done.

I'm hoping to get to the gym/do an exercise class tomorrow at some point. May not be as impressive as you though!

Does anyone know if you can download worksheets/things to do for kids on set themes? They boys have been all into Space, so have just got the Encyclopaedias out and spoke about Rockets/Shuttles/Astronauts/Planets etc, but worried it's a bit "dry" for them. They are now drawing Rockets and aliens, so are enjoying that!
I have bursts of energy like this for a while, they get fed up then I leave them to Cbeebies/CBBC for the rest of the time

NormaSknockers · 01/02/2010 18:31

Indeed it was Lizzy, bloody lovely it was too Just enough points left for something later with a cuppa.

Jeez sazzles you put me seriouly to shame, I was chuffed that I ran for 10 mins last night without stopping as I haven't been in weeks Very well done, don't know how you do it!

Sorry yout appt was a waste of time Alice, annoying that he just repeated the other doctor Hope the echo gives you the answers you're looking for.

I'm starting to panic about tomorrow, I can certainly think of far more pleasent things to do be doing

Well done on the run, Sazzles.

Lizzy - the NASA website has a kids section. You might find some stuff there. How old are your kids?
