Poor thread title, I know....

I think this is our 39th thread and we are still going strong. Our leader Shiney is well what can I say.. just bloody fab.

We do like a lot of cock and cake chat with lots of healthy stuff thrown in too.

We welcome any one who wants to join our thread - just one rule, post post and post more!

If DP was really really bored and unemployed (like I used to be) would you lot talk to him? He says my unemployment time was easier than his cos I had MN.

And if he does, wil you nag him to clean the bathrom?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 14/01/2010 22:44

MyCat..I was 40 last year and left to my own devices I feel absolutely brilliant, and that is despite having a tough time and seemingly going through and early menopause as a result.

I just feel so right being me IYSWIM, and I actually wish sometimes I was in a happy relationship because I think it would be so cool to go through life feeling like this with someone to bounce off.

Thank God for MN...

Everything just suddenly makes sense, and I feel completely at one with life overall....sounds a bit hippy but it really was like somebody switched a light on and brought everything into focus. I just need to channel it now.

DreamsInBinary · 14/01/2010 22:44

I would love to lunch in Manchester.

It's where I went to uni and I love it.

bellavita · 14/01/2010 22:44

I would nag him to clean the whole flat for you

DreamsInBinary · 14/01/2010 22:45

Well, that depends, Trill.

How much does he know about cocks healthy eating?

He's a bit boring with the healthy eating. He just stops eating bad things. Just stops. He doesn't really understand and just eats less if he wants to lose weight. Damn him.

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 14/01/2010 22:49

Aha, her you all are

Nothing much to report. Get a cat Trills, gwan, get one, get one

Iggi - big congratulations, fab news!

bellavita · 14/01/2010 22:50

Hallo Squeezy

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 14/01/2010 22:52

Rented cream-coloured 2nd-floor flat = no cat.

Is a beautiful flat and very warm so won't complain. Just have to go and stroke the cat at the pub more often

So can we have a roundup of who is pregnant, who is intending on being pregnant, and who is just practising (as DP is phrasing it)?

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 14/01/2010 22:57

Mits - that sounds pretty fab. Not sure how I feel about it really. I remember being 17 and my mum having a 40th birthday party and feeling that it must be really old. That seems to have stuck with me. I don't feel old though and I don't look it (although having 2 young DC certainly makes me feel like 90yr old sometimes). I've decided to party my way through 40 (got 4 celebrations planned so far) and just bloody enjoy it really. Birthday is in February so not long to go now.

Trills - cat's are ace. My moggy is fantastic, but he is also complete git (chundering where you can stand in it, crapping in the veg patch, killing baby birds, sitting on your head at 3am). THey certainly have character.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 14/01/2010 22:59

I have no intention of being pregnant at all. MInd you I said that after DD then DS turned up. DH now had the chop so definitely just practicing now.

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 14/01/2010 22:59

Hiya Bella

Aw Trills, never mind, your next house will have a cat

DH and I are trying
Alice is pregnant
5gomad is trying until a very specific date
Lizzy might be trying
Iggi is pregnant

That's as much as my memory serves me right now off the top of my head....

Poledra · 14/01/2010 23:00

Aaahhh, DD3 has woken up again - it's getting so that we can predict when she's going to get up. And she just won't settle again so that's when she ends up in our bed. Hence the jaggy little toddler toe-nails on my inner thighs.

Is it too cruel to sedate her d'you think??

Anyway, she's now in bed with DH so I better tidy up and get off too. G'night all.

Poledra · 14/01/2010 23:01

Oh, and DH and I are definitely just practising (else I'm suing the makers of my implant!)

bellavita · 14/01/2010 23:02

G'night Pol.

I am away too. Night.

Thanks Squeezy. You are abandoning me to join the sproggers. Don't think I haven't noticed.

Don't worry, I am enlightened and know that women with babies are can be fun.

Yes, I remember Fanny's very very specific date. No shagging after the 17th of June, or something.
