I just love cycling and running but it is really not possible at the moment..

I would be devastated to lose any of my clothes/boots etc. They are my 'thaing'.

I am now going out with Mr Mark Hamilton Fraser who has a Wii addiction... but DD says he is alright really....

bellavita · 13/01/2010 17:32

Sazz - there is always wine open in this house too. We are never without a full wine rack an there is another two cases in the garage . I know for a fact DH will be having wine with his pasta.

I think I need an early night.. I feel so tired.

bellavita · 13/01/2010 17:33

at Mitts and her dates!

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 13/01/2010 17:34

I might have a glass once the wee ones are asleep.

I feel oddly knackered today.

Get on with that room of yours bof - will be so fab when its done.

wastingaway · 13/01/2010 17:50

Well done Norma!

BoF, post pics when it's done.

Shiney - , though must agree with DEM, as far as footwear goes, I'm [birkenstocks]

Mitts- shame about the fishmonger. I am quite partial to a bass player.

Sazz, he's 20 months (DS that is ) So if he went hungry it would be more punishment for me. I'm going on the principle that if you keep serving it up for them, eventually they will like it. Don't think that would work with DH though.

An open bottle is quickly an empty bottle in this house.

bellavita · 13/01/2010 17:53

wasting - I think Shiney is partial to a few pairs of birkenstoks!!

wastingaway · 13/01/2010 17:56

Yet she doesn't recycle?!

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 13/01/2010 17:57

Aw shiney that is rubbish about your boots!

Not in this snow, that's true. I usually wear them with socks in the winter though.

Lizzylou · 13/01/2010 18:03

Shiney, that is awful. Bloody hate thieving bastards like that.

Chicken and chilli with Pak Choi for dinner. Really wish it was the pizza I made for DS's and DH.......DH's wedge is calling to me......

Mitts, your DD sounds like she has a very active imagination!

Well done Norma

Wasting, same here, we have a few of those wine saver bottle stoppers...very rarely used

VinegarTits · 13/01/2010 18:12

Thieving bastards Shiney

Karma will get the fuckers, hopefully they will fall on their arse in the ice and break a leg or something

You wouldn't believe what i just ate for my tea

i am a pig

bellavita · 13/01/2010 18:15

are you going to reveal what you had Vinny?

DreamsInBinary · 13/01/2010 18:16
Mamazon · 13/01/2010 18:16

what arseholes Shiney. I know how devestated i was when we were burgled, its more the fact that they ahd the cheek to do it than the things they stole.

Just me and DS tonight as DD is staying at my mums. she will take her to school tomorrow as she is just around the corner and i wouldnt be able to get her there.
so we are having a yummy (but not great for the diet) homemade chicken pie with swede/potato mash and brocolli

3 slices of toast (yes 3!) with: butter, bacon, cheese and fried egg, with tomato sauce

and then...

2 more slices of toast with butter and jam

I am a glutton arent i? its this cold weather, i was starving and just went into auto pilot when cooking it (like i was possessed)

bellavita · 13/01/2010 18:21

at Sazz!

tis the cold Vinny, you are right, it does make us eat stuff that we know ain't good for us. Did you enjoy it though - that's what matters.

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 13/01/2010 18:22

The first 3 sound magic Vinny .....I'm not keen on jam so the last 2 were a bit yuck for me

Dunno what to have for dinner yet, maybe an omelette with tuna?

VinegarTits · 13/01/2010 18:22

it was delicious

wastingaway · 13/01/2010 18:44

As long as you enjoyed it Vinny.

i should have made a proper meal, but ds wanted tinned pasta shapes with toast and i was so hungry i just want something quick

feel guilty now though, might have to do some hola hooping tonight

wastingaway · 13/01/2010 18:50

Sazz, your dinner sounds wonderful though. Casserole is one of the things DH turns his nose up at. He doesn't like, if you can believe this... dumplings. How can you not like dumplings! So I've never learnt. But I bet DS would love them, so I'm going to do stews and casseroles for me and him and pick the meat and potatoes out for DH in the future.

Lizzylou · 13/01/2010 18:54

My DH hates dumplings as well, I love em.

Wierd men.

Sounds good except for the egg, Vinny, not keen on eggs.

I'm on my way to Bella's garage

I am closer than you, Sazz

Shove us a blanket in, will you Bella?
