ah yes Jet, i did mean the refuge, not the dump

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/01/2010 15:59

Oh that is so lovely bof... glad for you. You deserve them.(( ))

Cheese...sorry about your slip. Do you have a tens machine? They are briliant on aches and pains.

Yank....Asbestos as a blessing in disguise eh?

Is it the 'done' thing to ask a hairdresser to do something wild and exciting with ones hair and just give her free reign? I am having mine cut tomorrow and it is fairly short and 'pixie' styled but am I in one of those moods where I could come away with three piercings and a tattoo....

YanknCock · 13/01/2010 16:07

It's probably only my filthy mind that perked up at bella's mechanic 'touching her up for free', right? @Sazzles

Lizzylou · 13/01/2010 16:08

Thanks Jet, will have a leetle scoff in a mo

Ooh, Mitts, how exciting. I just have a bob, then grow it, then occasionally have a fringe, realise I look like Anne Widdecombe and grow it out again......v boring.
Do it! Do it!

You do deserve the flowers, BOF, am v intrigued as to the sender.

bellavita · 13/01/2010 16:08

You dirty minded lot! - and I didn't "feel" a thing either!!!!

YanknCock · 13/01/2010 16:09

Mitts, the last time I didn't give quite specific instuctions to a hairdresser, I came away with a lady mullet!

SqueezyIsStartinAResolution · 13/01/2010 16:17

at lady mullet.

Sorry to hear about your fall cheese, have a nice big hot bath

Mitts, my hairdresser is a trendy wee thing. I mostly get the same cut but ask her to style it differently each time....then of course when I get home, I can never copy it properly

VinegarTits · 13/01/2010 16:20

I havent been to a hair dresser in yonks

i cut my own hair the other day

bellavita · 13/01/2010 16:21

I would never dare cut my own hair. I visit my hairdresser religiously every 6 weeks.

Will your school be open tomorrow Shiney? You haven't had the best start to the new year with your job.

wastingaway · 13/01/2010 16:31

Hello. I'm making tuna pasta bake.

I've been scanning the cookbooks for inspiration, but between DH and DS, it's very tricky to make something nice.
I think I'm going to ignore whether DS will eat something, and just add spag hoops and a yoghurt for afters and if he eats it, he eats it, if he doesn't no biggy, and adapt for DH. ie. scrape the mushrooms off. Or save anything he'll find truly objectionable for day he's not here (of which there are lots).

I trimmed my hair last time, but am losing the battle with long hair and Curly Girl. So I'm going to cut it shorted.

Is your hairdressed trustworthy Mitts?

Flowers are sooo lovely! And yellow roses are lush.

Hope you're not done in Cheese, snow's a menace.

Have just opened my John Lewis order (which arrived at yesterday.

The coast top is divine and fits lovely.

The Levi jeans - well I just about can do them up but can't breathe in them.

The John Lewis jeans are pants!

The White Stuff tunic looks lovely off but crap on because I am too fat for it.

The White Stuff long cardigan is gorgeous but again, too fat for it.

So all apart from the Coast top is going back - will wear this for London night out with black trousers. I have been trying really hard but obviously not hard enough. Tomorrow and thereafter I am going to have to be really really tough.

bellavita · 13/01/2010 16:41

What is the weather forecast overnight for down where you are Shiney?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/01/2010 16:43

I have only been to the hairdresser once in about 10 yrs as I used to shave my head...

So this is the first time apart fro the last 'neatening trim' that I might get a style. I thought I might ask if it is long enough for something asymmetrical.

I should get my profile going for a before after thingy but am currently sporting a sort of unstyled version of this cut. In fact first thing in the morning or after a bath it is like this but is quite heavy hair and without tons on gunk it just flops through the day and looks...ermmm..daft!

WhereChaosTheoryRules · 13/01/2010 16:44

Bof roses sound lovely.
Cheese - put a hot water bottle behind your back when you sit -it'll sooth the ssore muscles which have probably tensed up with the cold after the fall.
Mitts - not sure if i have ask you before so apologise if have -do you do triathlonsor duathlons?

I have just taught the same lesson several times to a bunch of kids in primary. my head is about ready to implode and i still have the paperwork pile of doom to work my way though tonight. it'll be a late one as i am looking for a specific bit of paper. still i have caffine and muchie stuff so will get cracking on that in a few moments.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/01/2010 16:45

Are you not tempted to put them away for motivation Bella? It can actually work...

Chaos.....I was just thinking about registering for a triathlon last year before I was poorly and am just not fit enough now.

Are you going to try..

bellavita · 13/01/2010 16:47

Thing is it is an expensive motivation Mitts - because the order came to £255. The Levis are £70 and do actually fit nice apart from the fact that they push all my fat up and over the waistband. I can sit down in them but only just.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 13/01/2010 16:48

Oh shiney. I am so sorry. How crap. You had talked of them and I , like you, would be devastated.

TrillianAstra · 13/01/2010 16:48

I have the MN hair cut - but v long, shortest bits are approx chin-length.

bellavita · 13/01/2010 16:51

Nicked your Ugg Boots - how on earth did they get into your car?

Are you sure you did not take them into work with you and leave them under your desk and forgot? [hopeful emoticon]
