Welcome to our 36th healthy eating thread, where we will renew any healthy eating resolutions with all the viguor that the Christmas munchies require...

We chat, keep each other on track, and monitor our goals together- some on the thread have lost shed loads of weight, some are running ridiculous distances. Some, of course (like myself and Shiney, our dubious leader) have been a bit, er, remiss really. But that can all change with a New Year!

Come and introduce yourself, old and new, and let's get Mumsnet's famous Shiney Healthy Eating Thread kicked off for 2010...

they are ok thanks Lizzy. had big heart to heart with junior tonight, and i think she understands that i am sticking to my guns this time. Mini is her usual boisterous self.... took her out on her new bike today, now that the snow has mostly gone. She loved it

I am ok. Family are all away at the lakes for a big new year party - they go away each year over the new year period, and hire an entire caravan park!! There must be about 200 of them go, and i am a little sad we not there, but it didnt feel right. Its nice and quiet at home, just the way i like it

You should so def do millionaire Bof - either that or deal or no deal

my early night plans have been ruined here not impressed, tired and cranky. Hopefully will find car in one piece tomorrow but suspect i might be starting the year with a claim on the insurance.

How annoying DEM.

I live very rurally so don't get that type of disturbance but do get very scared when here alone. However the fear of noisy neighbours puts me off moving. Afraid I've become very intolerent of other people's noise.

Jet, I like it quiet these days lovely, nice to be able to appreciate each other with no work/school.

TRacey, I am still a tad unsure, I have to say, although have been broody for a while, our little unit just seems so balanced, would hate to upset it all.

stupid isnt it. think i might make up ds lego kits that need checking. totally rock and roll here Failing that i might see if there is enough hot water yet to have a very hot bath with a book. ex's mum has chuck a whole load of chick lit my way which has gone round the book circle so i have a nice stack to enjoy. Unfortunately this was how i ended up still being awake at 5.30am the other morning as i got a bit engrossed in the book and had to finish it very nice to have done it though

It has been missing recently. Decided to work on that novel in the end. I am beginning to feel that i might need to do something about all these bloody hormones If only opportunity

Wouldnt say i had any talent for writing either. Dsis got those talents

Not sure it will be suitable for proof reading. i tend to get bored part way through and not really that imaginative nor adventerous.
But it is amazing what half heart attempts can stir a man into action maybe you should get you dh to proof read one for a second opinion
