I'll start after Christmas i think

hellsbelles · 15/12/2009 20:41

Mitts - so glad you are feeling a bit better

Yanks - I did the same recently! Why the feck are mattresses so bloody expensive. But oh what a difference...

Shiney - is it tonight - how exciting. Have you borrowed any of BOF's outfits for the night?

I've been good and had pancetta wrapped monkfish, green beans (won't mention the buttered new potatoes and the magnum) for supper. Also still haven't been sick so I'm crossing my fingers and toes I avoid it.

House is finally smelling less like a hospital and the washing machine man is coming t/m. All will be well with my world when that is sorted!

DidSantasMum · 15/12/2009 20:42

ok can some one put me out of my misery and tell me where to find the ss thread pretty please.

Oh, watch the pharmacist shiney... they have reputations enjoy the date.

Have graded 30 assignments but now have to write encouraging comments on the bottom as to how to improve. Not sure this is not an art lesson you need to include some facts is valid Then again some are great and almost have all marks so comments to improve feels like nit picking.

Has everyone got their ss yet. Mine did get sent monday. Mum has been a saint this week I owe her big time over christmas

DingDongBinaryOnHigh · 15/12/2009 20:51

here DEM

YanknChristmasCrackers · 15/12/2009 20:57

In my sample size of one, pharmacists are nutty. I have a friend back in the U.S. who's a pharmacist (we dated briefly while at uni), and the last time he wrote me, he started off 'What's up jizzmaster?' He has a rather strange sense of humour, I don't think a lot of people 'get' him.

Well, I managed to stay within my points today. I have 1.5 left for the day, but would rather save them since I was over by 4.5 yesterday! If I can just manage not to eat anything before bed....but I'm hungry! Trying to distract myself with cups of tea.

I am hoping the mattress will come during the day and I can freecycle the other one on the same day. Would be so fun if I could keep it as a surprise until DH goes to bed!

DidSantasMum · 15/12/2009 21:01

Thanks Dib have posted. how are you?

LukaSweetBabyJesus · 15/12/2009 21:03

Hello. Thankyou.

Are you a healthy eating thread then? I didn't really look to see what you were all talking about. Assumed it was something high brow and important, or twaddle and gossip.

I have made a pact with myself

DidSantasMum · 15/12/2009 21:09

You will be welcome back when ready Luka, and it is generally a mixture or all of the above chat wise. depends what day and what mood you catch us in.

bellavita · 15/12/2009 21:11

Shiney, you have a date? Where did you meet him? What are you going to wear?

hellsbelles · 15/12/2009 21:13

Ah - Bella typifies the thread - we may have chocolate...but they are nuts (i.e. healthy) covered in chocolate

bellavita · 15/12/2009 21:14
DidSantasMum · 15/12/2009 21:16

DidSantasMum · 15/12/2009 21:17

people are still talking about your plumber Shiney

LizzyLordsALeaping · 15/12/2009 22:19

Mr Lizzy out tomorrow night and Thursday, so will wrap his presents then
Have done some Christmas food shopping tonight, money is bleeding out of my pocket like noones business!

Have had some wine and am chilled again.

OOH, Shiney, was it Match? My Mom is having a fine old dating time due to that website.

SazzlesOnASled · 15/12/2009 22:46

Blimey Bella - snogging TWC....wow

I have now wrapped stocking presents, DH's presents, creche, swimming teacher and DD1's friends pressies. Still seem to be a big pile of plastic bags staring at me saying 'wrap me' 'wrap me' though

Well done on staying within points Yank and good luck for weigh in tomorrow Fanny

Hells - watch that plumber washing machine man

Am going to try and have a bath but DD2 stirring [typical]

Night all

ItsIgginningToLookALotLikeXmas · 15/12/2009 23:02

Hullo. Wasting my evening (and potential MNing time) by looking up impossibly expensive wedding venues. We could have tour of India for less than two nights exclusive use of some castle type place in Scotland. All a bit moot as have no savings anyway!
Still, all this thinking keeps me out of the fridge.
Would love to be going on a date .

YanknChristmasCrackers · 15/12/2009 23:58

Fanny, good luck tomorrow!

I am worried about going down to London over Christmas--can see us having lots of meals out, and no internet access to do WW online or MN! I think my damage limitation has to start now....lose a few pounds before xmas, gain it all back during, then plod onward once we are back in the safety of our own home.

MIL will have those bastard cadbury fingers....I can't not eat them!

TinselianAstra · 16/12/2009 02:58

Nice poem on the last thread Vinny
