Jason Manford? Is he off 8 out of 10 cats?

How did you happen upon his manhood, Bof?

jinglejet · 21/12/2009 18:43

I love john bishop i watch him on live from the appollo all the time - that is the closest i will get these days to watching stand up

well done on the lbs lost girls - please say a few prayers for me tonight if you are that way inclined - my weigh in at 9am

hope your DD is soon on the mend Alice - not the time of year to be poorly!

BitOfFunderthemistletoe · 21/12/2009 18:43

Beautiful pics, Shiney- that could be a Christmas Card (if you could be arsed sending any ). Your little boy looks lovely- not much of a twat at all

Hehe

BitOfFunderthemistletoe · 21/12/2009 18:45

Jason's Manhood was a long time ago. I pulled him after my front row seat bonanza. Quite an embarrassing story actually- I shall have to regale you all with it later when I'm back...

LizzyLordsALeaping · 21/12/2009 18:48

I take it that it was him talking about your tits al night then?

Have fun this evening.

2010 is when I have mad crazy barmy bonkers fun, none of this "I saw him in Panto" crap, no shagging anyone other than DH obv, but something a bit more exciting than washing footie kits and perfecting my sponge recipe.

DidEinsteinsMum · 21/12/2009 19:05

I have to think about 2010. I want a bit more then paperwork and laundry too.

hellsbelles · 21/12/2009 19:06

excuse this crazy post. DS is hanging over my shoulder and is desperate for me to post with lots of smileys (i've scrolled down so he can't read about BOF's amazing attributes!) So this is for DS.

[fbiscuits] back later without need to edit for cheeky 6 year old.

SqueezinAroundTheXmasTree · 21/12/2009 19:13

Chicken and asparagus bake with potatoes and carrots for dinner. Just put the oven on and am willing it to heat faster as I am STARVING

VT - sounds like you done the right thing, he sounds like a twisted old bugger.

Loving the snowy pics Shiney! I bet lil Ted is loving the snow and not only him but all the wee ones on this thread

I love the snow, love the cold, getting all wrapped and everything. However, am sorta praying it calms down. My friends flying in on Thursday for Christmas and New Year, Boxing day is my dad and the ILs for dinner and 27th am having a party so I need it to calm down so that everyone can get here

I could eat a scabby horse.....

sorry ive no been on the last few days dont kick me off the thread will you.
I couldnt face comoing on and bumping into MrsRigby.

beautifull pics Shiney. As for the man, I agree with everyone else. Bof will tell you that my oh is very far from what i would call my ideal looking man. When we met it never even occured to me that thehre was anything more than just mates on the card because he was so removed from my type.
we spoke a lot. by the time it dawned on me that he wanted a little more than that we had beens chatting for months and i really liked him. still wouildnt even consider being anything more than friends so was trying very very hard not to offend him and hurt his feelings.

I finally agreed to meet back up with him just as mates.

weve been together a year and despite him having his cock end moments i love him dearly. even though he does .look a little like harry potter.

If you like him you like him. take it as it is and see where you go.

bellavita · 21/12/2009 19:36

Oooh 'ello Mamazon. Why on earth would we kick you off thread you numpty?

Who on earth is MrsRigby - not someone on that MH thread?

SqueezinAroundTheXmasTree · 21/12/2009 19:40

Yep, couldn't agree more Mamazon. My DH and I were friends for about 10 years before we got together. He fancied me years ago and I knocked him back, more than once ......wasn't my type, too geeky, not bad enough, too sensible, clean cut.....and then I saw the light about 4 years ago, dunno what happened, everything clicked into place in a huge way. He is the best thing since sliced bread and I wouldn't swap him for the whole world and he has made me a better person.

Never say never is what I say.

VinegarTinselTits · 21/12/2009 19:46

Thanks for the sympathy regarding xfil, i am calmer now, i have braved the aisles and been and done my food shopping, it wasnt to bad considering, but i did go at a time when i knew it would be calmer (6pm when everyone else is traveling home or eating their tea )

Luckly i will be eating at my bros house crimbo day and parents house boxing day so that has saved me a few bob

Lovely pics Shiney, i hope to live in the middle of nowhere one day, were all you can see is fields and a church i the distance

bellavita · 21/12/2009 19:51

How nice to be cooked for Vinny. I am doing the cooking on xmas day for the 5000.

I have told DH that we are having a take away on xmas eve as I will have spent all day cleaning and preparing stuff, I am sooo not cooking tea aswell.

LizzyLordsALeaping · 21/12/2009 19:51

Mamazon, MrsRigby? Is that all to do with that Mark bloke? You're always OK here.

Shiney, can echo Mamazon and Squeezy, after years of falling for bad boy, exciting types I went for the opposite and very nice he is too. I am the opposite to what he normally goes for as well. Geeks can be good, I have already admitted my Hugh Dennis lusting.

Keep chatting, steer him away from bird gullet gestures and get him on something butcher than cranberry juice, you'll be reet.

YanknChristmasCrackers · 21/12/2009 19:57

At 5:30 I thought I heard banging at the door, and went out to find two blokes unloading my mattress! I said 'I thought you weren't coming today!' and they said they'd come special and 'happy christmas'.

So the surprise was ruined unnecessarily, but we have a lovely new mattress to sleep on for two nights before we're down to London to sleep on an air mattress for nearly a week.

I'd already cancelled my lunch with the aquanatal ladies tomorrow thinking I'd have to wait in, but am inclined to stay in and clean anyway as I'm sick of the house being dirty and don't want to leave it like this while we're away.

Dinner tonight was lasagne and salad. Have stayed in my points so far today and have 5 left to use.

Shiney, lovely pics. Agree there may be something in it if you can chat to bird-man for 2 hours!

VT, glad you're feeling calmer now.

SazzlesOnASled · 21/12/2009 19:58

Evening - sorry i have been AWOL for so long. PIL, friends party and trying to make some fairy cakes today has taken over . I am so of all you bakers - i seem to just see a red mist when it comes to cake and we had some frayed tempers here this afternoon

Shiney - my DH has some 'interesting' quirks, mainly down to some Apspergers traits. Your story of what bird man said in the restaurant, DH could easily have said. However it is normally worse when he is nervous and speaking to people other than friends. The fact that you can natter and banter is great. No need to make any firm decisions though are there? Can you just go with the flow and trust your instincts

Well done Yank on the pound off, but bummer about the bed . Was DH ok abou it?

Jet - the joy of presents IMO is in the giving and the appreciation of the recipient. I sometimes just give friends random presents because i see stuff they would like or if they are having tough times. I would hate it if they felt they had to reciprocate. Enjoy the presents (as i am sure you will ) and just quietly whisper a heartfelt thankyou to the lovely ladies who have sent them to you

SazzlesOnASled · 21/12/2009 20:00

Ooh, x-post. What a lovely christmas surprise and the delivery men going out of their way to get it to you. Restores faith in humanity a bit when people do that. Such a shame the surprise was ruined, but at least you have it now

LizzyLordsALeaping · 21/12/2009 20:03

Yay, you got your bed Yank!

Sazz, am a hit n miss baker tbh.

Jet, Sazz is right, as my old Primary school teacher used to say "you don't give to receive". I never understood her point until I got older and got genuinely excited when giving my gifts to people.

You are lovely, have done so well and deserve some treats, you don't have to get gifts back, just inspire us with your weight loss (good luck for tomorrow lovely).

SazzlesOnASled · 21/12/2009 20:06

Lizzy - i love cooking but is all savoury. Probably because i don't have a sweet tooth that my patience gets worn thin very quickly

Mamazontopofsantabeingrude · 21/12/2009 20:23

yes MrsR was on the MH thread.
she made some choice comments that quite frankly disgusted me. if shes allowed to stay im off.

I have a package awaiting me, DP has it in theh car so im looking forward to the surrise.
no idea what it is as i havent ordered anything.

vacaloca · 21/12/2009 20:25

Hello . I haven't been on MN for weeks but I think of you all quite often (mainly when getting dressed!). Although not eating quite so healthily anymore, the weight is still off. Mind you, that could all change quite quickly what with Christmas first here and then in Spain.

I started my new job a month ago and I can barely breathe. Does anyone fancy giving me a quick summary?

bellavita · 21/12/2009 20:32

Yank has lost another 1lb and got a new mattress.

Vinny is having FIL problems.

Mamazon has just joined us.

I have been baking for England and Trills comes a close second as she was baking the other night and doing mulled wine.

Shiney has a new man - whom she doesn't fancy but gets on with like a house on fire. BofF went to stay with Shiney and there was lots of plumbing and rodding going on with sexy txts from plumber.

Hells has had washing machine problems for weeks, but it is now fixed.

Lots of dc's poorly.

Ummm, loads and loads more........

But welcome back Vacca - what is your new job?

VinegarTinselTits · 21/12/2009 20:44

Hello vacaloca nice to see you back

i wish i had the skills to bake

Mamazontopofsantabeingrude · 21/12/2009 20:50

im getting theh kids back from their dads tomorrow. they have had an early christmas with him so will be all excited. Im lanning on doing lots of baking with them tomorrow evening so they dont feel too down about coming home.

im thinking mince pies, jam tarts and christmas tree gingerbreads
