Ok, I did it. Guess what my DDs are watching over and over again at the moment?

Anyway, welcome to everyone to our healthy eating thread - trying to lose weight or just to life a healthier lifestyle (and chatting inanely along the way).

Anyone and everyone welcome, just so long as you're nice! We are not a clique and welcome newcomers, so please join us! But beware - this thread moves very fast - just leap right in

Hopefully this one will fill up particularly quickly so we can lose this rather shit title

I'm trying to run twice a week but I already didn't manage it today. I'm going to try tomorrow after dropping everyone off, even if it's only for 20 minutes.

I've got a second interview next week. Gulp.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 08/10/2009 14:22

I do that lenin, but it does mean I am constantly changing clothes..I do like my clothes and remaining in my running/cycling clothes all day is not my idea of making the most of my embarrasingly extensive generous collection of clothes.

Hellooooooooooooooooo >

Tis like ghost town.

Hope our leader is ok - shiney?....,,

TrillianSlasher · 08/10/2009 15:43

Dammit dammit dammit, tried to get rid of wrinkles at ankle adn have ripped patterned tights. Very obvious hole, plus that's a fiver down the drain. And I'm supposed to be going out tonight.

Oh, Trillian...use hold up stockings, (unless your skirt is too short!), then when you get a hole in one you just use a spare (having bought two pairs that are identical...)

Hi shiney, everyone went into decline at the waning health of our glorious leader. We have been sacrificing high calorie foods in a bid to return you to good health . I sacrificed a very large portion of chocolate and toffee ice-cream earlier..you should be in peak condition shortly.

BiteOfFun · 08/10/2009 16:13

Ah, it has been a quiet day, true enough. It was yesterday as well though- it's like the whole site is a bit knackered after the weekend moon madness...any word from hq or general developments, Shiney?

bellavita · 08/10/2009 16:15

mwah mwah mwah

Lizzylou · 08/10/2009 16:20

Hi all

Hope you are all well.

DH's birthday so have just made a chocolate Hedgehog cake with the boys, it is carnage in my kitchen! Boys now colouring in, having a slump after sneaking all those choc buttons I think.

Food wise, done OK today, but it may not last with the cake being around.....

Oooh, announcement sounds fun. Will you be publicly flogged?

DreamsInBinary · 08/10/2009 16:57

Poor Slimey. I will offer up some cold (but delicious) belly pork to the gods of piggy flu.

DreamsInBinary · 08/10/2009 16:59

Oh shit. They may not appreciate being offered one of their own on a plate. Sorry Slimey - hope they don't, er, curse you to eternal damnation or anything..

TrillianSlasher · 08/10/2009 16:59

Hold-ups don't tend to come in such a wide range of colours/patterns. Skirt is not too short, I am in work after all!

DreamsInBinary · 08/10/2009 17:00
TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 08/10/2009 17:00

Well if there is going to be whipping flogging I consider it my duty to accept it on your behalf shiney, it is the least I can do

DreamsInBinary · 08/10/2009 17:00

Damn, must pick up DD.

Don't let them anounce before I have come back please.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 08/10/2009 17:02

Hadn't thought of that Trill, my legs don't 'do' patterns as they are too chunky.

bellavita · 08/10/2009 17:04
Lizzylou · 08/10/2009 17:04

OOh, an announcement, you say?

Sackcloth and ashes type of affair?

I'm surprised nowt's been said sooner to be honest, thought at least it has al died down (realises irony)

Dark patterns mind. This was a lovely black-on-black diamond pattern.

SqueezyCheesyPumpkin · 08/10/2009 17:18

Hey ladies

Triils, I take it the hole is too big for the quick clear nail varnish repair job?

The healthy online grocery shop arrived so am prepared for loads of home made healthy goodness in the coming weeks.

TrillianSlasher · 08/10/2009 17:20

It's a rip about an inch across. And I don't have any nail varnish with me. It's okay, my boss sympathised and let me run to the nearest shop for a replacement (took 12 minutes). She is a nice boss

SqueezyCheesyPumpkin · 08/10/2009 17:31

Trills.

There has been a real turn in the weather huh? You should see the leaves in the garden, honestly it's unbelievable. The guy who cuts the grass comes tomorrow and he says his machine will suck them all up - I hope so as I totally can't be bothered, too much other stuff to do.
