Ok, I did it. Guess what my DDs are watching over and over again at the moment?

Anyway, welcome to everyone to our healthy eating thread - trying to lose weight or just to life a healthier lifestyle (and chatting inanely along the way).

Anyone and everyone welcome, just so long as you're nice! We are not a clique and welcome newcomers, so please join us! But beware - this thread moves very fast - just leap right in

Hopefully this one will fill up particularly quickly so we can lose this rather shit title

Slimey Oh my goodness. Just what you needed!

bellavita · 12/10/2009 11:06

Just popping in before I go to work.

We went out for an indian last night - did sooo not help the healthy eating. Have had some healthy porridge this morning with strawberries on top. Just had a nectarine and I am taking a roast pork sandwich and banana to work for my lunch. Meatballs and spaghetti for tea.

Shiney - for your ds, bless him. Hopefully, this will be the end of all of your family's illing and you can get stuck back into this thread.

Have there been any jobs that have caught your eye?

Did I tell ya I am getting my new car this Sat? and and..... we are going on Sunday to look for DH a new one. The share price has rocketed (he gets shares as a bonus from work) so we are in the process of cashing some in and getting him a new car outright, I am also gonna wangle a new pair of boots out of the money, seen as he has said the boys can have £50 each to spend on what they want.

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 11:08

Oooh, new boots, lovely

bellavita · 12/10/2009 11:08

Have you found a coat Trills?

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 11:47

Nope, still looking/thinking. I have enough coat to wear at the moment, it's not as if I'm going cold.

hellsbelles · 12/10/2009 11:55

New boots - lovely. Have you got your eye on any in particular?

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 12:18

SO, lunch?

jetonthedancefloor · 12/10/2009 12:48

hi everyone

I finally have wifi back, and can stop waiting the 30mins for each page to load when using mobile broadband

Have read all this thread (though cant remember most of it) - nice to see the usual suspects

Vinny, hope your gran is doing as well as she can, must be very hard on you all

Shiney - hope you are feeling a little better. It sounds very much like you have a similar thing to junior - it took an absolute age to get over - and she is still coughing

Am still plodding along - though dont think i have lost much at all this 4 weeks (weigh in next week - i am trying really hard not to think about it) as depression hit big time due to contact with ex being a nightmare (long story cut short - having to stop it completely - he can take me to court for access) so have done very little exercise and probably ate all the wrong things

Weigh in is early as well, as going to London for long weekend - oh well

hope everyone is fine and dandy

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 13:01

Hi Jet - sorr you've bad a bad couple of weeks. It's been a bit quiet on here.

Now, what are you having for lunch? Something with fruit and/or veg in it?

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 12/10/2009 13:23

Awww shiney...... Poor little mite and poor you... I am in danger of starting to feel 'sorry' for your run of bad luck, so on the 'up' side, at least you weren't in the car or at home and you could walk away.....

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 13:40

You know I'm kinda bored of saying 'poor Shiney'.

I bet you're bored of hearing it too.

jetonthedancefloor · 12/10/2009 13:44

lunch - ww bread with low fat cheese and salad, with baked crisps - under 10g fat the lot

tea is another story......

hellsbelles · 12/10/2009 13:58

lunch - made dd a delicious pasta dish but decided to be good and had just a chicken and tomato sandwich for me. In the end I helped her eat hers!

I've run out of milk and having the internet shop arrive later so currently tealess. Feeling very tired without the help of caffine.

I'm going to have to eat a slice of the cake I made at the weekend. Can't help it. It's too nice to waste.

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 15:56

Shall I dye my hair?

(no, the grays are not that bad yet, I'm just bored)

I dunno I'm just bored and thinking of things. It'll have to be some variant of brown (purple? red?) cos I'm not bleaching my hair.

vampyrekisses · 12/10/2009 16:20

purples good trills

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 16:22

I have dark-ish skin (getting paler by the day of course) not like the woman in that stupid advert with the red hair that matches the red shoes...

vampyrekisses · 12/10/2009 16:24

i like the schwarzkopf live! dyes
im pretty pale, i use the red/black, cyber purple, mystic violet and the damson wine quite a lot

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 12/10/2009 16:26

Purple would be cool. Or black. I sometimes go black. It is funky. Red doesn't suit me. Find one of those sites where you can put your photo in and try different colours.
