Ok, I did it. Guess what my DDs are watching over and over again at the moment?

Anyway, welcome to everyone to our healthy eating thread - trying to lose weight or just to life a healthier lifestyle (and chatting inanely along the way).

Anyone and everyone welcome, just so long as you're nice! We are not a clique and welcome newcomers, so please join us! But beware - this thread moves very fast - just leap right in

Hopefully this one will fill up particularly quickly so we can lose this rather shit title

Black would make me look yellow I think.

Schwarzkopf Live... Hmm, I will remember that.

Friend's birthday today so going to the pub later, prob best not to dye hair this evening, don't want to rush.

vampyrekisses · 12/10/2009 16:35

pub is a naughty naughty word
im gonna be in my jammies by 8pm methinks

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 17:09

Won't be much pub, just a gentle drink. Ridiculous girl to insist on doing it on a Monday anyway.

bellavita · 12/10/2009 17:47

Sorry you are having a hard time jet.

Trills, purpley/red sounds nice

What have you done with the blanket shiney.... binned it or emptied the contents in the bin and washed it?

Hells - I like some boots in Clarks, DH has said I can have £100, so that should buy some nice ones. But, my hairdressers have some really nice limited edition purple ghds at £130... but no, I already have perfectly good straighteners >

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 12/10/2009 19:09

Hi Bella, how are you?

I have so much to do my computer should be locked in a safe, but I had a dreadful night and need a motivating kick up the posterior.

bellavita · 12/10/2009 19:14

Hi Mitts, great thanks. How about you? Never mind having loads to do, it will always be there.. so just relax and mn!

This thread is always quiet when I am around and the minute my back is turned it gets busy >

hellsbelles · 12/10/2009 19:17

Bella - step away from the straighteners purple colour does not make them work any better than the ones you already have! However many pairs of boots is perfectly acceptable

Supper - steak (with tarragon sauce), green beans and homemade potato wedges, trying very hard not to look in the freezer.

And marinading pork for t/m.

May watch Americas Next Top Model to cheer myself up - I do get extremely judgy when watching...though I try not to! But some of the ladies that get through...I mean really

So bloody exhausted tonight - and manic day interviewing for new staff t/m so not looking forward to the fact I'll actually have to dress smartly

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 19:19

More boots = more fun. More straighteners? Nah.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 12/10/2009 19:20

I have one pair of hair staighteners and 17 lots of pairs of Boots so I second hells

shiney - junior is just about better - though she has started coughing again now she is off the gaviscon. Her consultant nearly choked when i told him she was taking 4 tablets a day, presrcibed by GP Said that was way too much and we had to wean her off them. She is completely off them tomorrow, but her cough is definitely getting worse again. Not actually sure if that is connected anyway - she has been that poorly i have forgot which sympton goes with which problem Hope your little one is ok - hope his mouth doesnt come up with any more 'big noises'!

Think i need to start a thread somewhere about girls' contact with their dad - as i need some help deciding what to do. Well, actually i dont need the help deciding, i need the help on actually carrying out what i want to do IYSWIM. But, that is for tomorrow maybe!

Did some walking today, felt a little better, so am taking minijet out for a long walk tomorrow - to see where we end up. I let her choose left or right - should be interesting

hope everyone is well

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 19:54

Fajitas for dinner. And homemade guacamole. I know there's a lot of fat in avocadoes (the only high-fat fruit) but it must be good fat right?

I will drink only G and (diet) T at the pub. Less alcohol than a pint too.

bellavita · 12/10/2009 20:00

Ooooh get you Trills - homemade guacamole..... posh or what

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 20:02

Yep, I squished up a Tesco value avocado! I am right posh me!

bellavita · 12/10/2009 20:03

Nowt wrong with Tesco value stuff

TrillianSlasher · 12/10/2009 20:05

It's the same damn vegetable (fruit, y'know, whatever), it should be just as good.

DreamsInBinary · 12/10/2009 20:13

hb your supper sounds delish

I don't like interviewing. I tend to either feel awkward for them or dislike them instantly and overcompensate . Is also a bit when they come in and know more then me

DreamsInBinary · 12/10/2009 20:14

Jet it's lovely to have you back

DreamsInBinary · 12/10/2009 20:20

Shiney - shall we try to resurrect this one first? Put out a call to lapsed members (BalloonSlayer, GetOrf, Vaca, Wasting - I am talking about you) and make one big effort?

Posting on a busy thread is so much easier as you don't have to think so hard. I posted some crud last week whilst merry and was that they stayed there forever. Which is a long way of saying that if we can pick it up, it should stay, er, picked up, under its own momentum.

Evening all. So sniffly tonight they let me off Parents' evening. So, sofa and Big Bang theory and an early bed!
