Ok, I did it. Guess what my DDs are watching over and over again at the moment?

Anyway, welcome to everyone to our healthy eating thread - trying to lose weight or just to life a healthier lifestyle (and chatting inanely along the way).

Anyone and everyone welcome, just so long as you're nice! We are not a clique and welcome newcomers, so please join us! But beware - this thread moves very fast - just leap right in

Hopefully this one will fill up particularly quickly so we can lose this rather shit title

Hi BoF.

I should really get off the computer - I'll be staring at a computer all week anyway.

NormaSknockers · 11/10/2009 20:11

DIB thought you had just outed yourself being PG til I read the rest of the sentance

Shiney how you feeling oh wise & wonderful leader?

I get palpatations whenever I see DH in full uniform which is often enough (He leaves home in trousers, shirt & boots & kits up properly at work!) I keep telling him he should kit up here

NormaSknockers · 11/10/2009 20:12

which isn't often enough even!

FlamingoBingo · 11/10/2009 20:18

My DH wears a suit for work every day and looks bloody gorgeous in it. I try to get him to leave it on until bedtime, but he's usually too nervous of the girls getting mess on it to oblige

Tell him that's what washing machines are for Flamingo

DH proposed wearing a Naval officer uniform (think An officer & a gentleman) he got as far as asking me to marry him before he got pounced on

FlamingoBingo · 11/10/2009 20:25

The suits are too posh to wash in the machine - have to spend a fortune dry cleaning them.

Hmm.....just remembered he has one he hardly ever wears now thanks to it being a bit threadbare, apparently. (I can't notice it, but he's a suit expert so it bothers him) Maybe I'll get him to wear it some time.......

Officer and a Gentleman?????

Phew,Norma no wonder you said yes.

Have you, erm, kept the uniform???

I love Richard Gere (I do not believe the hamster rumours), that film is fab.

Ooh, I do love a good chick.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 11/10/2009 20:26

I had a lovely evening and we laughed so much I think we were in danger of being thrown out of the restaurant.

I had Flame Grilled Salmon on a bed of roasted vegetables followed by Eton Berry Mess. Yummy!

I wore the Green dress and pretty much what I described, it felt so lovely to dress up for a grown up night out.

Today has been very trying to build a bridge between DS and his Dad. And the usual sunday homework/baths/tidying malarchy, so I am pooped and having an early night, so am sorry not to join in with the lusting male admiration society but am about to have a very close encounter with my duvet and furry throws and cushions...

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Lizzylou · 11/10/2009 20:28

Aw, glad you had fun TMW, hope today was productive for your DS and H too.
I will be in bed soon (am all a quiver for some unknown reason).

NormaSknockers · 11/10/2009 20:37

Lizzy sadly not He hired it, got out weekends worth out of it though His works uniform is just as good though!

Flamingo what a poop, yes maybe convince him to wear the threadbare one, lest he wont worry about getting it grubby

Mitts glad you had a fab evening, dress sounds gorg Sorry to hear today has been a pappy though

FlamingoBingo · 11/10/2009 20:55

Are you saying I'm grubby, Norma?????

DH is ringing his potential new employer again tomorrow - he's been advised to 'sell himself' and be pushy as a way of showing how good he is at selling! I do hope we hear when his second interview is soon - so frustrating waiting!

TMW - your DS's Dad sounds like such an arse. I'm so sorry for your DS, having a Dad who is an arse too.
