Ok, I did it. Guess what my DDs are watching over and over again at the moment?

Anyway, welcome to everyone to our healthy eating thread - trying to lose weight or just to life a healthier lifestyle (and chatting inanely along the way).

Anyone and everyone welcome, just so long as you're nice! We are not a clique and welcome newcomers, so please join us! But beware - this thread moves very fast - just leap right in

Hopefully this one will fill up particularly quickly so we can lose this rather shit title

Shoes, I am so there. Halfway anyway.

MissM, sorry to not be able to give you a coherent reply, but I am thinking of you a lot.

My mum emptied the garage loft of Jonny's things today. "I just feel they need sorting." They were spread around the kitchen all afternoon. I hated it. I opened a bottle of wine. I am drunk.

evansmummy · 09/10/2009 21:56

Weird, my message so wan't supposed to be here. How embarrassing!

Evanmummy - thought you were doing a shiney!

Wasn't really talking about bfing, more about all the unjustified censorship on MN at the moment.

I wasn't talking abut bf or censorship - just that the poster was über tedious.

FlamingoBingo · 09/10/2009 22:04

waves at empty thread. Afraid its a hello and goodbye from me tonight.

Mits have you tried sticking some of the soft toys in the freezer to kill the dust mites. (couple at a time) 24-72 hours usually does it and saves the washing cost and destruction of non washable toys. Worked a treat with ds when his asthma was sensitive.

NormaSknockers · 10/10/2009 08:28

Morning all,

Food going very well as I just haven't got the energy to cook & only fancy bland food so living on cereal!

Bella sounds like you had a lovely dinner last night!

TrillianSlasher · 10/10/2009 09:32

Flamingo - I saw that poster (and how she wrote), I think MNHQ thinks you look old enough and intelligent enough to take what she said to you, perhaps the opposite is not true.

g'mornin guys

cant stop long, am heading for a train into town soon...how is everyone

NormaSknockers · 10/10/2009 11:10

Shiney how you feeling now? Did your AB's kick in ok?

DD is dancing about the room in her top, a pair of knickers, a big floppy sun hat & fifi trainers without a care in the world - oh to be 3 again

SpookyAlice · 10/10/2009 11:33

Norma - my DD insisted on wearing her sunglasses to town (there is no sun) They do entertain don't they

TMW - how was your night? What did you wear? What did you eat???

Have been good so far today, i have had 1 piece of toast and marmite, glass of orange juice and i am now drinking water. I am tempted by tea and biscuits but i am managing to resist so far. Felt i have done a fair bit of exercise this morning pushing DD on her trike round town with her trailer filled with fuit and veg and me lugging a huge bag of shopping about. I am knackered!

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 10/10/2009 11:41

Oh, It is tonight spooky, so still in a state of excited anticipation..

Am too happy to do any housework concentrate on anything. I have just had a bacon and egg butty and will be drinking water for the rest of the day so I can have 3 courses...

I will walk back briskly from town after dropping DC's ar their Dads so that will be a good 3/4 hrs walk. And views to absolutely die for.

Beware, I might do that with DD's soft toys, I had forgotten about that. She is such a hoarder, her room is shocking, but she seems comforted by the clutter , where it turns me into a gibbering loon. However she has gone out with a friend so I may just go through with a black bin liner and 'clear up' a little.

So, things to do, piles to straigthen...tara for now and 'mwah mwah' to all

NormaSknockers · 10/10/2009 11:43

Gotta love kids

Sounds like a good day so far food wise Alice, keep it up!

SpookyAlice · 10/10/2009 11:50

The only reason i am doing sowell is because i can't be bothered to get up off the sofa Once i get up i know i will head straight for the kettle and biscuit tin. Luckily Dh will be home from work shortly.

hellsbelles · 10/10/2009 12:29

Morning all....I've just been virtuous and spent the last 2 hours getting DS's toys out of storage and cleaning them all for DD. I am shocked by the amount of stuff I had for him. But I think all this hard labour must count as exercise

Foodwise - I'm doing weekends as a free for all...so with that in mind had 2 croissants this morning. I will be good all week though - promise

TMW - what a fab dress.....you are going to look gorgeous.

NormaSknockers · 10/10/2009 13:56

Alice - stay away from the biscuit tin
