Ok, I did it. Guess what my DDs are watching over and over again at the moment?

Anyway, welcome to everyone to our healthy eating thread - trying to lose weight or just to life a healthier lifestyle (and chatting inanely along the way).

Anyone and everyone welcome, just so long as you're nice! We are not a clique and welcome newcomers, so please join us! But beware - this thread moves very fast - just leap right in

Hopefully this one will fill up particularly quickly so we can lose this rather shit title

Hello

Where's Shiney's thread? I missed it!

Sazzles - yes, we went to slimbridge. Children all got completely soaked but loved it. It was so warm in the sun! Luckily I was having a fab mum day and I'd packed spare clothes and a couple of terry towels.

I've never been to westonbirt - I know I really ought to go sometime.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to do a coat of paint on wall 3 tonight. I'm very tired and want a bath.

Well done Five .

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 08/10/2009 20:45

Your day out sounded nice FB.

My meetings feel like I am in an episode of fat friends or a Little Britain sketch.

SazZaVoom · 08/10/2009 20:49

LOL at Fat Friends - must be worth the money though for the comedy element

Flamingo, Westonbirt is lovely but can be seen as expensive as there is little there other than trees (2 small play areas and restaurant), but then it is an arboretum . I am a member so we can go whenever and i think we will go again at the weekend as the tree colours are beautiful. Well done on keeping up with the painting, despite the delay in plans

Fanny, i meant to ask - do you have anywhere for camping at your place?

Sorry - don't know why that posted twice, such a long time apart!

Sazzles - we have membership for slimbridge as we go there so often!

I am thinking to do Slimbridge next year as my Bristol Zoo membership runs out in Nov. Will either do that or Cotswold Farm Park i think

SqueezyCheesyPumpkin · 08/10/2009 21:07

Does anyone know names of companies that make model cars? Corgi is the only one I know....it's DHs birthday next month and I want to buy him scale models of all the cars he has owned from his teen years till now (he is a car geek)

DreamsInBinary · 08/10/2009 21:10

I love Slimbridge. We used to go there at least once a year - and every New Year's Day - when we were very young. Many happy memories of Dad getting attacked by a swan

She is the Dominatrix of MN. I love her too.
