Revolutionaries of The Shiney Path - The Gorillas In Our Midst Eat Healthily

Welcome to our 22nd Healthy Eating thread under the auspicious eye of Shiney the Cult Leader. She is vegetarian (like a gorilla), but you don't have to be! Or hairy!

I may be getting distracted by my over-cryptic thread title (it is hard when all the obvious ones have been done- fwiw The Shining Path are a South American guerrilla group and I'm looking at watching Che on dvd later, what can I say...), but I have been appointed Tsar With Authority for Titles, and starting this on a Friday night may be ill-judged, BUT...

We are here with the aim of eating healthily, losing weight in varying amounts if that is what we wish, and most of all posting as often as we're able to support each other. We have a good laugh too. Allegedly. But we're no trouble, no siree...

New-comers very welcome, just introduce yourselves and pile in!

Doubt you'll be banned slime.

TrillianSlasher · 04/10/2009 14:06

(I did know it was you, just wondered if you wanted to keep your anonymity IYSWIM)

TrillianSlasher · 04/10/2009 14:32

Come on guys, what about my problem. Am I allowed to chuck the rest of the pasta bake or should I eat it cos there's nothing wrong with it and it would be a waste of food?

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 14:47

Hi ladies.....I see everything is.....erm.....quiet and calm as ever on the home front

I thought that thread was fab.

Trills, can you freeze the pasta and take it into work for lunches?

why would you be banned..?

you haven't done anything wrong...

the vast majority of people thought the same as you...

BiteOfFun · 04/10/2009 14:56

I'm annoyed they've deleted it. People have been emailing them for days if not weeks by the look of it, yet they have done nothing. All the while people are getting sucker-punched. Not Impressed.

FlamingoBingo · 04/10/2009 14:58

Don't see that you've done anything worth of banning, slimy.

Can someone come up with a hallowe'en name for me please?

DP - TAFKA is bonkers! Do you and her have history? Can't understand responding to you immediately with 'fuck off'.

I've had readybrek for breakfast, and beans on toast for lunch, and will be having macaroni cheese with bacon bits and peas for supper.

And I've painted one wall of our living room - doing the second coat this evening when DH gets home. It was hard work so I'm counting it as exercise.

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 14:58

Hiya DP

I feel pissed that the thread was deleted but maybe it is not a good idea for me to express that here.....

I am planning to get back on that wagon tomorrow, the wagon that has evaded me for weeks now. Looking forward to Syc getting the whip out and kicking some ass

50ftQueenie · 04/10/2009 14:58

I totally agree with Redlights too. I had said as much to DH a few weeks ago. It felt like a big load of bollocks and it was so obvious how it was going to end. Well done to Redlights, it really did need saying and I was far to much of a wuss.

We're told to not troll-hunt on the boards but what are we supposed to do if we are suspicious? They can check if someone is another user in a different guise but they can't tell if someone is telling the truth.

Poor girl Dee. I think....erm.....'redlights' has stopped a disaster in its tracks and well done too.

daftpunk · 04/10/2009 15:04

FB.....i don't even know who she is...?

iv'e seen her name around but can't remember talking to her...

50ftQueenie · 04/10/2009 15:04

Oh no! Poor Dee. That's really shitty.

I have just made blueberry muffins and obviously had to test them to make sure they were cooked. Yum.

TrillianSlasher · 04/10/2009 15:04

Ha ha haaaaa. Real Royalty!

All the people who wanted emailing - what did you say to them? 'Hi, I'm Shiney and I am suspicious.'

SqueezyCheese · 04/10/2009 15:06

She was f*cking rude DP. There are much nicer ways to disagree than just telling someone plainly to eff off.

FlamingoBingo · 04/10/2009 15:06

As an aside, I feel very anarchic every time I insert that extra 'e' into your name

BiteOfFun · 04/10/2009 15:07

You smug twat
