Welcome to our 22nd Healthy Eating thread under the auspicious eye of Shiney the Cult Leader. She is vegetarian (like a gorilla), but you don't have to be! Or hairy!

I may be getting distracted by my over-cryptic thread title (it is hard when all the obvious ones have been done- fwiw The Shining Path are a South American guerrilla group and I'm looking at watching Che on dvd later, what can I say...), but I have been appointed Tsar With Authority for Titles, and starting this on a Friday night may be ill-judged, BUT...

We are here with the aim of eating healthily, losing weight in varying amounts if that is what we wish, and most of all posting as often as we're able to support each other. We have a good laugh too. Allegedly. But we're no trouble, no siree...

The dose that I was originally given was 2 x 30mg and it made me feel really ill.

Solpadol is "paracetamol and codeine".

Actually the netdoctor says one tablet of solpadol is 500 mg paracetamol (eq to one paracetamol tablet) and 30 mg codein (quite a lot). So one of those and one paracetamol tablet would be okay, as that would give you a full normal dose of paracetamol.

Go to the bloody doctor woman, if you're taking even one of those tablets you must be ill. Two is pretty serious.

you are all amazing - I can't believe how fast you type - think of all the calories you must be burning with those fingers flying over the keyboard. I went off for my takeaway and a bit of crap tv and I came back to find pages and pages gone by.

I'm going to bed - with the smell of egg stuck in my nostrils.

Yep took ex about 4 weeks to get over pig flu. There are some nasty viruses about. It has taken me about 3 weeks to get properally ill (just feeling worse and worse each day) and if i have what ds had will be properally ill for about a week and take at least 2 weeks before starting to feel better.

Shiney go to the doctors. (not now, obviously, but y'know, when they're open).

I'm going to bed. Had 2 large gins then started browsing wikidivorce. Not a good combination.

Onward and upwards. Apparently.

Shiney you must go to a GP, for your pelvic issues if nothing else.
