Welcome to what may be our 21st Healthy Eating thread!

We take it with varying levels of seriousness- in fact we are a pretty light-hearted bunch generally, but we do support each other, whether we are trying to lose a little (or a lot of) weight, or just get fitter.

Shiney is our Glorious Leader , ably backed up by the ass-kicking Sycamoretree and many other lovely regulars.

Come and join us- post as much as you can and join in the fun, nay, the phenomenon that is the Shiney thread

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2009 13:13

Oh I wish exercise gave me endorphin rush - I think something in my brain chemistry is broken because exercise has never made me high.

I also wish I could do a cool subtle namechange like darkpunk - I thought TheDeadPirateRoberts was a pretty cool one too (she has multiple names, doens't she?)

SqueezyCheese · 02/10/2009 13:53

Trillortreat? OK, that is sort of lame

I might go for squeezypumpkin.

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2009 14:09

Shame you don't have your old name on or you could be 'UnHoly...'.

Lizzylou · 02/10/2009 14:10

What can I be?
Never really change my name seasonally?

Lizzywoohoohoo

Crap

Might just stick with Lizzylou

Hi to Lenin

I so need to go running, am kidding noone that running around after the boys is enough (esp as we've not played outside for a while)

Cleaning today before friends come tonight (and my Mom tomorrow).
The state of my pit house, have got to have burnt some calories.

Have had the joy of trying to arrange a 2yr old's birthday party for November. November FFS!!

RL is really eating into my MN time, and i hadn't been on FB for over a week. It's no way to live your life i tell you....

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2009 14:35

A birthday party for a 2-year-old? Come and tell me IABU then Alice!

NaughtyAlice · 02/10/2009 14:36

IABU?

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2009 14:41

here

NaughtyAlice · 02/10/2009 14:44

Sorry, being a bit slow on my way....

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2009 15:41

Aww, my boss has noticed that I'm getting stressed with this stupid thing that has no control group so we can't tell what it's doing and is recommending leaving at 4.30

BitOfFun · 02/10/2009 15:55

Bargain! I've had a bit of a sleep and feeling a lot better. Will be on for a natter later- I am waiting for dd2's bus to drop her off, and i expect she will be in a vile mood

Once I get this done I'm going ot go for a swim. Hope it's not busy...

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2009 16:01

Bugger, swimming lessons in half the pool. Will the other half be:
quiet cos no-one wants to go
or
busy cos there's only half the pool and people just turn up without realising?

daftpunk · 02/10/2009 16:10

i'm not namechanging this year...i'll be your avarage psycho killer......they always look normal.

TrillianAstra · 02/10/2009 18:02

Looked busy from the outside and massive queue at reception. Came home instead (via Sainsburys).

Tempted to cut my own hair before I go out this evening...

HidingInTheZoo · 02/10/2009 18:32

Noooooooooooooo!
Dont do it!
Might be a good idea but timing crap if it doesnt come out as planned!

StrictlySazz · 02/10/2009 18:34

Sorry you didn;t get your swim Trills, getting as far as the door and then having to turn round is even more disappointing - i managed to fit in 45 lengths despite DD1 missing her swimming lesson as sent home from preschool. Left her infront of a DVD whilst DH was working from home

I agree with your 2YO parties btw, i was hoping not to do one this year but DD1 (will be 3) is VERY insistent

Good luck on the hair BTW - very much braver than me

Looking forward to fish & chips (oven baked so not quite the same) and wine tonight

NormaSknockers · 02/10/2009 18:37

Evening all, looks like I've missed heaps (again) Have been popping in & out trying to catch up but all went to fast! Off to have dinner (sweet chilli chicken noodles) & make some cards then I shall catch up...or will you all be on the Friday evening Bumsex thread by then?
