Welcome to what may be our 21st Healthy Eating thread!

We take it with varying levels of seriousness- in fact we are a pretty light-hearted bunch generally, but we do support each other, whether we are trying to lose a little (or a lot of) weight, or just get fitter.

Shiney is our Glorious Leader , ably backed up by the ass-kicking Sycamoretree and many other lovely regulars.

Come and join us- post as much as you can and join in the fun, nay, the phenomenon that is the Shiney thread

We say boook and loook too, if we're common. Not me, obviously. But Vinny might

I've just asked advice on Jo Malone stuff in style and beauty, as I've promised dad I'll get my mum's present from him, and it's opposite our shop. Feeling a bit of a twat now though as I've only just noticed the sign on the door that says "Opening Soon" . Shit.

Some practically say 'Liver-pewl'

TrillianAstra · 01/10/2009 14:33

So far today I have eaten a banana and drunk 3 cups of tea. Been very busy with things needing analysing before meeting at 3ish and other things not working as expected.

Brought in some celery, carrot and hummous (hoummus, who knows?), I keep twiglets at work, and there is also my emergency chocolate stash, largely bought from poundland on Tuesday, where you can get 3 packets of rolos for a pound.

TrillianAstra · 01/10/2009 14:49

Is no-one shocked at my lack of food intake?

Shiney are you at work today? How are you feeling?

BitOfFun · 01/10/2009 14:53

She is on the couch I think, Trill. I was quite shocked, but not very. I have already resigned myself to being utterly incapable of abstension in any form, so no longer imagine what it might feel like.

Feels like hungry (with a bit of stressed on top). Am munching on hummus and veg now.

Have leftver roast chicken from Tuesday to eat tonight, was thinking of dong a pasta bake (with cheese and crisps on top!). Shall I start a thread with the words 'pasta bake' in the title to freak people out?

Lizzylou · 01/10/2009 15:36

I bloody love Pasta Bake.
Do a sweary Pasta bake title, Trill, kill two birds n all that.
Or a trolling sweary pasta bake thread title....

TrillianAstra · 01/10/2009 15:36

Ah BoF, you have a fan

Have had some twiglets too, feel better now. Waiting for it to be my turn to speak on this call. Anticipating difficult questions and lots of work to be assigned.

NormaSknockers · 01/10/2009 15:36

Afternoon all,

Definately need to back TW's cock our mascot Yes that's right MNSwearyPolice I said COCK how about a BOLLOCK throw in in for good measure

I have a serious banging headache Feels like my head is in a vice

On the plus side have only had 7 points so far today so lots left for dinner & supper time snack! Oooooo Trills I love a good pasta bake, pasta is a serious staple in this house, it's all DH's fault with his Italian roots

NormaSknockers · 01/10/2009 15:37

Oooo yes thread title 'Ah fuck it, we're having pasta bake for dinner' should cover it

TrillianAstra · 01/10/2009 15:38

Y'see I actually think no swearing in titles is a good idea.

If I write f**k it someone's child will so say 'Mummy, what's the word with stars in?' won't they?

NormaSknockers · 01/10/2009 15:40

PMSL!

TrillianAstra · 01/10/2009 15:47

No swearing required, I've already made one person shudder
