Welcome to what may be our 21st Healthy Eating thread!

We take it with varying levels of seriousness- in fact we are a pretty light-hearted bunch generally, but we do support each other, whether we are trying to lose a little (or a lot of) weight, or just get fitter.

Shiney is our Glorious Leader , ably backed up by the ass-kicking Sycamoretree and many other lovely regulars.

Come and join us- post as much as you can and join in the fun, nay, the phenomenon that is the Shiney thread

My god Shiney how do you find time for a bath and a shower on a daily basis? I only manage one of those on days when I can creep out of bed before DS wakes up!

[smug emoticon] I knew having to have the c sections would come in handy one day when I got older and had a cough.

StrictlySazz · 29/09/2009 21:11

Me too Bella, although i was nearly caught out by a trampoline the other week

DreamsInBinary · 29/09/2009 21:13

Ooh, this no-swaering-in-your-name malarkey looks intriguing. Is it? Or will I be bored?

TrillianAstra · 29/09/2009 21:16

No swearing anywhere according to some. Wimpy fuckers.

Lizzylou · 29/09/2009 21:16

Sneezing and trampolines are my downfalls.
2 Ventouses and a 10lb 11oz DS2 has made that area a trifle different to how it used to be. Despite constant pelvic floor exercises.

StrictlySazz · 29/09/2009 21:20
Iggi999 · 29/09/2009 21:21

Anyone tried those machine things that are supposed to help you do pelvic floor exercises?

Salsavita · 29/09/2009 21:22

eek maybe at 9 4 and 9 6 then and if I had of had normal births - who knows....

daftpunk · 29/09/2009 21:24

i wont take anything for my illness....will fight it naturally... back soon , have 300 unread emails...

StrictlySazz · 29/09/2009 21:29

Paltry 5 7 and 6 11 here. Apparently i also have very good childbearing hips according to the MW . Needn't have had those really - slim ones would have done me fine

DreamsInBinary · 29/09/2009 21:41

7lb8oz and 8lb2oz here. Would have been fine, but ds (7lb8oz) had a head on the 97th centile that was approx the size of a football.

DreamsInBinary · 29/09/2009 21:43

GRRRR at the swearing threads.

Lizzylou · 29/09/2009 21:50

DS1 was 8lb 13oz, so DS2 was a shock, they both got v stuck though, despite me having massive wide hips (childbearing hips like you Sazz), I always thought I'd pop em out.
The ventouse thing made it far easier, not like I had to properly push em out, am a bit of a fraud tbh. Stitches were the worst bit.

DIB, I know, it's getting v tedious. Mind you, have had a bit of a to do on a 2 boys thread, some loon being v tactless, got me quite riled up.

TrillianAstra · 29/09/2009 22:00

I think you should be DreamsInFuckingBinary in protest!

daftpunk · 29/09/2009 22:04

i complained about the poster called CW...not to MNHQ...would never do that...to her face (so to speak).....i don't mind the odd swear word in posts....but i hate the C word...

omg...was it any of you..?

Lizzylou · 29/09/2009 22:06

Not me, DP

I don't do namechanging and am not a fan of the c you next tuesday word (iyswim).

I have nothing against bad language on a site for adults. Wasn't me though

Am tempted, Trill...Have you eaten yet, btw?

DreamsInBinary · 29/09/2009 22:21

Ho ho

For your (now weekly) geeky humour hit, try googling 'recursion'.

TrillianAstra · 29/09/2009 22:21

Yes, we've eaten. At about a quarter past nine. Not actually massively late by our standards.

I tend to reserve swearing for when I need it. Same reason I normally drink tea, so I can bring out the coffee when I'm tired and it will actually have an effect. You need to save the big guns for serious situations.

Iggi999 · 29/09/2009 22:31

DIB, you've made my head hurt.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 30/09/2009 09:41

Are you all in bed?

It is soooooooo nice today.

Kickboxing is fab and perks me up no end. I am going to save up and try and get some one to one sessions after christmas.
I was extremely lucky with both my childrens births. DS was about 6 7 and DD was 6 11, and apart from a bit of a scare with DS I had short easy labours. I do count my blessings.
