I think this is thread 10. We are an unruly bunch of MNetters trying to shed a lot a little or just some pounds through a variety of methods. Others just trying to eat healthily.

Newcomers most definitely welcome, just be advised the post rate is insane so be sure to check in regularly!

Our hostess Ms Diamond will be along soon I'm sure.

nice people on that thread...ive popped in before to say hi, not for ages now tho

my new hoody has arrived and its fab

heading out with kids now

SycamoretreeIsFullOfResolve · 06/08/2009 12:34

Hello.

It is hot.

I took the kids to feed the ducks and DD got attacked by a dog who wanted her bread.

Great. She is now officially terrified of dogs.

It didn't bit but it chewed at the bead in her hands - small yappish terrier.

Her knuckles are red

Old lady owner - slapped dog and wandered off with me clutching two screaming children. DS more traumatised than DD!

Did I mention it's hot?

Think we will also go to farm scenario this afternoon. Odds Farm....tis nice.

daftpunk · 06/08/2009 12:34

i want to wear it out now but the freaking suns out!

scuttles thread still going i think

VinegarTits · 06/08/2009 12:40

syc, your poor DD, my ds2 is scared of dogs, i have no idea why because i'm not scared of dogs, and he has never had a bad experience with them that could have frightened him

Saying that though, i heard him scream the other day, when i ran in to investigate, he was jumping about screaming 'aaaargh its a spider' AND yesterday, he came running up the stairs in shouting 'arrrgh mummy theres a fly in the room'

so basically he is scared of his own shadow

daftpunk · 06/08/2009 12:42

oh syca poor DD..

i'm not a dog lover tbh...much prefer cats.

BobFoc · 06/08/2009 12:43

Oh poor babysycs! (scary lady here, obviously).

Come on my surreal thread in Chat where we baffle people with our cliquiness and complete refusal to make sense. You all have to namechange though, well nearly all. Harley is clearly known as a secret society master, so she should be alright. Daftpunk will get away with it for being a bit odd.

I made a couple of names up for the thread title. I have Shiney in mind for MrsBucket.

daftpunk · 06/08/2009 12:45

harley is deffo hardcore secret society...she was on the scuttlebuggers thread in it's infancy...

harleyd · 06/08/2009 12:49

um...explain yourself bof

BobFoc · 06/08/2009 12:54
