I think this is thread 10. We are an unruly bunch of MNetters trying to shed a lot a little or just some pounds through a variety of methods. Others just trying to eat healthily.

Newcomers most definitely welcome, just be advised the post rate is insane so be sure to check in regularly!

Our hostess Ms Diamond will be along soon I'm sure.

She has also never mentioned the money to me, she still owes me a small fortune. Yet her and her partenr have both been on seperate holidays in the last two months, and they have bought over £3000 worth of new stuff for the home, not to mention the clothes etc.

Sorry I'm bitter aren't I?

Jaquelinehyde · 03/08/2009 17:49

I will be thinner than her and bitter though

Jaquelinehyde · 03/08/2009 17:49

thanks Trill that makes me feel better.

Oh Jaq, I had to smile at that post because I'm afraid I would have had those kind of thoughts at far less provocation than you have received and I would not be batting an eyelid of guilt about it

Your frenemy is the bitch, not you. You're just having a normal reaction to some serious mind fuckery and ill-behaviour from this lady.

I'd have sent her a poo in the post by now, cheeky beeyatch.

You are absolved by St Sycamore of the holy order of the low fat sausage.

Next!

Jaquelinehyde · 03/08/2009 17:56

Yay, phew, I feel soooooo much better.

I thought I was betraying some ancient rule of womankind "thou shalt not wish each other fat" or something like that.

It gives me another incentive to keep losing weight, which can only be a good thing.

Jaquelinehyde · 03/08/2009 17:58

@ poo in the post, not a bad idea. I pity the postman though

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 18:36

I found out the stinkyest flowers today. I am thinking about a bouquet of stink for certain peaditricians who have annoyed. Could email the names of them if you like

differentID · 03/08/2009 18:38

Christ-on-a-bike, you lot can't half talk! ~I go away for 3 1/2 days and you're on yet another thread

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 18:54

opps meant to post stats.

170cm (5ft7ish)
12stone
A chest that i would readily donate the spare to a worthy cause
aim 10 stone ish long term but sort term to be 11 1/2 stone ish by sept 7th.

In RL though really bad at keeping track of diet and exercise.

Main aim - to sleep more, eat less sugar and carby foods, stay clear of the dairy. I know what i should be doing but need a few good boots.

There are a few other non diet RL aims hidden amongst that as well but those are another story.

VinegarTits · 03/08/2009 19:01

JH you have every right to feel bitter towards her, dont feel bad about the way you feel, i would be tempted to shop her for fraud too, but what goes around comes around, she wont get away with it forever and karma will catch up with her and bite her on the arse one day

As for wishing she was fat, i wished worst things to happen to people for far less

HolyGuacamole · 03/08/2009 19:06

Thanks shiney Wedding was a stone and a half ago!! I'm lost with the facebook real names and matching them up to the nicknames on here?! Whats's your initials on FB so I can have a nosey at yours?

Went to Aldi and bought loads of fruit and veg. Today have had:

30g porridge with s/s milk
2 coffees
2 teas
4 glasses water
300g rice with leek, onion and ham in it
1 large glass white wine

And later will have a small bar of dark chocolate.

VinegarTits · 03/08/2009 19:11

Thats not very much HG, didn't you have any lunch?

I have had:

Banana
Satsuma
Thai Noddles
Go ahead fruit slices(3 in a pack)
Mince steak and boiled potatoes
4 glasses of water

Don't let me eat anymore tonight, its my biggest downfall, eating late at night

HolyGuacamole · 03/08/2009 19:19

Well vinegar I had my brekkie at lunchtime then we were out for longer than planned (got caught up at MILs, car garage and Aldis) so never got the chance to eat till dinner just there. Was STARVING when I got in

Those Thai noodles sound nice?

VinegarTits · 03/08/2009 19:22

Listen to me, i sound like your mother Thai noddles are lovely, one of sazzles recipes from another thread, i make a big batch then take left overs to work for lunch

HolyGuacamole · 03/08/2009 19:23

Oh and I don't think I put my details. Am 5'6" and 11st 2lbs.

LovingTheRain · 03/08/2009 19:33

It's probably best I don't add my weight details. Too embarassing!

jetcat32 · 03/08/2009 19:36

i completely agree Jaq - she is the bitch, not you at all. Just think, you will wind her up no end by losing weight and getting thinner, while she will obviously get bigger

Then you should accidently bump into her with a self satisfying smile on your face

Evening all

Had a rather nice chicken salad for tea and then some strawbs and raspberries.

I nipped to sainsbo's and bought more fruit and some 0% yoghurt.

FlamingoBingo · 03/08/2009 20:18

Jac - I think you're perfectly justified in wishing her fat! Sounds like a really horrid person.

My two oldest DDs are now sporting very short bobs, after they begged me to cut even more hair off! It's the first time it's ever been cut. I love it, and so do they. They look very french - like the little girl off the petit filous ad except one is blonde and curly and the other has wavy hair!

DH not slept so much today so we've seen more of him, and he's still up now. DD3 is asleep already (woohoo!), and DD1 and DD2 are having a piece of bread and then, they assure me, they are off to bed too. Hopefully I'll get an earlier night than last night at this rate!

Right - I have finished Professor Layton and the Curious Village on the DSLite and I need a recommendation for a new game please!

I also need some 'don't put on any weight' vibes for my camping trip! (and I know I said I was going out tonight, but I was worried leaving DH with the girls so cancelled the tutorial and stayed in instead.)

alicecrail · 03/08/2009 20:29

Evening

Jaq - she sounds like a right bitch!! I would definitely report her, and feel very smug that you are losing weight and she is gaining it. If that isn't motivation......

Flamingo - i was interested in that game. Is it any good? I quite liked Harvest Moon but found it was very addictive, but as i was pg and laid up with a broken leg i had plenty of time to kill

I had garlic roast chicken, new potatoes and salad for dinner - yum, now to log it onto FF wonder if i have enough for a glass of wine?

TrillianAstra · 03/08/2009 20:31

I had chinesey chicken with cashew nuts and lemony sauce for dinner. Yum.

I'm considering doing a week without FF and seeing how it goes when I don't have to report.
