I think this is thread 10. We are an unruly bunch of MNetters trying to shed a lot a little or just some pounds through a variety of methods. Others just trying to eat healthily.

Newcomers most definitely welcome, just be advised the post rate is insane so be sure to check in regularly!

Our hostess Ms Diamond will be along soon I'm sure.

Syc

Step away from the food woman!

I'm off to bed myself in a min, I've got auqafit in the morning, and it's weigh-in in the evening. My tooth has held out for today with no serious pain so fingers crossed it will last out until Tuesday evening.

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 00:26

Tst i turn my back on you for 5 mins Syc... Your supposed to be the arse kicking one! and me sleep - not if i get on here i dont.

Hope you get a good night Jaq.

harleyd · 03/08/2009 00:39

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 00:45

Waves at Harley

Not sleeping picking DVDs for rental list. I get bored when up as rarely people about this late especially on a working night.

harleyd · 03/08/2009 00:46

dem you must sleep even less than me

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 00:49

Nope, well maybe. Not very good about the level of caffine plus Ds has wet bed so i have to deal with that. Plus it is habit. I have had 4 1/2 of so little sleep i struggle to sleep properally regularly at mo. Will suffer tomo. PLus have a hlaf naked sleeping boy on my bed to deal with. Why do they look so cute when asleep. It almost seems mean to evict him. Almost

harleyd · 03/08/2009 00:57

all my lot are in bed, i have no excuse
im just a late nighter
i do try to be in bed early
i dont blame the 12 coffees a day
i think i average about 4-5 hours a nite, not bad, but god if i had a chance i could cheerfully sleep 12

DidEinsteinsMum · 03/08/2009 01:07

We have only just come out of a batch on 1.30am bed 6am rise nights and finding it hard to shut off early. However have been nicely surprised as ds took himself off to sleep at some point after 9.30pm tonight. Bless him, he is tired and v. fidgety in his sleep. Suspect he is growing again. Oh roll on more bad nights

Do you get enough exercise during day? It is one of my problems. I dont get any real exercise (unless i am mad and go for run at 5am in vague hope of sleep)

Hope you get some sleep soon. I am going to sort bed and crash.

Night

harleyd · 03/08/2009 01:26

exercise..lol..yeah i do, i work 3 nites a week, always on my feet, the other nites i run, dont sit down much thru the day either

think im just used to late nite calls and never really being able to settle too much

nite hope you sleep well

gonna head upstairs soon too

Sycamoretreeisvile · 03/08/2009 06:49

Good morning

Syc you are soooo bad (sorry but someone had to tell you ) I love salt and vinegar kettle chips too, but now i put some in a bowl as it stops me eating the whole bag.

I can't eat too early in the morning, and if i do, i end up having a second breakfast Just having a spatone and apple juice at the moment. Will give DD her breakfast in a minute then have a run around getting jobs done (still need to find my hairbrush and the remote ) then i will have some toast and marmite. We are going to music mayhem this morning - wish me luck!!

Sycamoretreeisvile · 03/08/2009 08:09

Morning fellow early risers.

Yes, I needed my ticking off. Hormones are strange things though aren't they...and I am an opportunist. I would never buy kettle chips for myself. They were only in the cupboard because we were having folk over. Now they are gone they are gone and I will think of them no more.

Made DC's french toast this morning and resisted.

Don't have much in to make delicious foods so need to do a menu plan with my WW cook books today and get to le supermarche.

Jaq - think the parcel should arrive today!

Shiney - hmm, I think if lord focus is wrong he's not wrong by much I'm afraid. 5 ft 2 is very small so not surprised it says so little...

I am struggling to lose on WW allowance at the moment, which I think must be about 1400.

I'm 5ft 6 and 10st 11 lbs.. if that's any help? That's giving me loss of about a pound a week.

Am really excited - some friends of ours went to live in America 11 years ago - we have managed to see them 3 times whilst we have been on holiday in Florida. They live in Salt Lake City and they are going to hopefully drive down to Vegas to meet up with us.

This is the kind of friendship that even though we don't get together often, you just pick up where you left off last time - like we have never been away from each other. I love them to bits. E my friend, literally took charge of DS1 when he was minutes old as DH was very poorly. Had I not had a c section, she would have been at the birth. Unfortunately she was not allowed into the theatre.

How are we all today girlies?

I am popping into town this morning to get a few last minute things.
