I ate the cake

I ATE THE FECKIN' CAKE ALRIGHT??????

Well, I ate half of a modest cupcake.

And a mouthful of champagne.

Got to get DD to bed now after she's watched Humph on Sky Plus then I'm off to group. Be back just after 10pm and will post in my official loss from last official weight in.

Am sure you're all on tenderhooks.

Don't know how you managed to eat half a cupcake though - that's crazy behaviour. But from a weight-losing perspective well done.

Do you reckon I can put bacon into my non-stick frying pan and fry it without needing any oil? I'm gonna try it. Making spaghetti carbonara. Mostly with egg, and only a tiny bit of cream. And a big portion of salad.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 16/06/2009 19:53

Yes, TA. Just keep the heat really low to allow the fat in the meat to come out before you burn it.

Well - the half is interesting because I actually asked for a quarter...

And someone else had the other half. And my quarter was just sat there and it just seemed ridiculous to leave it. All of one mouthful really.

Coffee icing, chocolate cake, and a chocolate icing "bean" on top. From Liberty...nyum nyum nyum

I am allowed cakes if FF says so. That's my rule. I don't have any cakes that sound as good as that though!

Fisnished dinner - managed to leave just enough calories for a glass of red wine. Off to the pub right now. Catch up later

mollyroger · 16/06/2009 20:38

today have had:

seedy toast and honey
frozen grapes
a chocolate bourbon biscuit
Lentil soup with 1 slice bread
Baked potato with tuna and massive salad.
a Breakaway

flamingobingo · 16/06/2009 20:56

I want a can of diet coke. In fact I'm desperate for one. But someone would need to go to the shop for one.

But I'm in my nightie. DH is upstairs getting DD2 to sleep. I'm downstairs with DD4. He won't be happy if I ask him to go out when he gets down.

Right that's it, I am falling miserably by the wayside. Made cookies for toddler group tomorrow but the bastard dog ate half of them while they were cooling [murderous][axe-wielding][livid] so there aren't enough to take. Now I have to try not to eat them.

Never mind. Tomorrow I invest in some more aspartame-packed fizzy gunge to drink, so i can satisfy my stupid sweet tooth without sabotaging what was a really good start.

Well done flamingo on getting sorted, a good step on the way anyway

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 16/06/2009 21:58

I have a miniature can of diet coke in my 'treasure' box flamingo, if that is any use.

You're not gonna fail FM, you can resist.

Swing that axe around a few times and you'll have earned yourself some calories.

daftpunk · 16/06/2009 22:15

lol sycamore...i'll keep the intrigue going....

right, i'm going for my run (it's nice and dark)....

catch up tomorrow.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 16/06/2009 22:33

Ladies - 2lbs off since last official weigh in, so that's actually across two weeks.

So not mazin' but all good in hood.

Need to eat now and watch some TV with DH.

Loving all your work

TrillianAstra · 16/06/2009 22:35

Well done Sycamore! 2lbs/week is a good steady healthy rate of loss.

Merci ladies.

Have a day off work today and am spending the morning getting pampered so will most likely check in again after lunch

flamingobingo · 17/06/2009 08:07

Well done Sycamore!

I've just been out for another 20 minute run, but got back after only 18 so had to go and run up and down the road again .

That's 1.5miles in 18 minutes - I wonder what the speed is. Maybe I can log it as running in FF now, rather than jogging.

Day 1 of paroxetine and someone's just told me that if I'm having mood swings (which I do) it could worsen them. Oh joy! This was exactly why I didn't want the bloody things

Ooh, just done my daily menu plan and I've got 729 calories left! Is that how much a GU cake is, do you think?
