it will be fiiiiine
It still may have been a bug rather than trauma from the pain of driving and your reaction to the plaster

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 10:09

here's hoping

will let you know tho.....

that said, I can do it, will just need to rest after. will ring the mum tho and tell her to send DD3 out to me....where she lives I have to park and walk. to drive, park and walk will just about ensure my leg falls off..

Good luck with the driving

How did the driving go?

(delete as appropriate)

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 12:07

driving fine.......hurts like I expected (was twice as far as school, so lots further than I have driven at all this week), but I am home and alive

am fretting a little tho about when the stitches come out, as the pain in my leg isn;t just where the wound is, but deeper and also on the other side too. as assuming that is where the muscle has 1), been unused, or used funny this week where I am limping, and 2), where the muscle is having to regrow a little as some got dug out as well as cut into (IYGWIM).

am thinking DH expects me to spring back to normal when the stitches are out, and I am not sure I will be....

TrillianAstra · 14/06/2009 12:16

No, stitches out definitely doesn't mean 'all fixed'. I don't know why the other side wulld be hurting too, is strange.

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 12:25

am hoping it is just the way I have been walking TBH....you know, using my muscles differently and so they are complaining the way any muscle does when you go for an unexpected marathon......that type of thing....

it could be that psycho. Glad you managed the drive ok

Oh I saw that you are off on hols the day HP film is released? did you want to see it before you go????

TrillianAstra · 14/06/2009 12:32

When is that?

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 12:32

I do.....I really really do.

am hoping they have a pre-viewing thingy on at the local cinema, otherwise I will have to wait

OP posts:
differentID · 14/06/2009 12:33

any help?

differentID · 14/06/2009 12:34

official release date is 17th July trillian

TrillianAstra · 14/06/2009 12:34

Just saw other thread! I didn't realise it would be out at all, thought it would be Christmas.

New film is not as exciting as new book, as in theory you know what's going ot happen.

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 12:34

trillian, 17th july.

we are not going far......to weymouth as the inlaws have a static caravan there. tis lovely

I would say we could all go as a family, as I am sure there is a cinema complex in town, but DH is not an HP fan (I kind'a killed it out of him due to my addiction), and he is against the idea.

I would go alone, but that is not very family-like on hols is it.....

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 12:36

oooh, diff, I think I might have to declare love with you!!

OP posts:
differentID · 14/06/2009 12:36

he can go to play golf or do some manly thing on his own while you and the dc go see the film?

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 12:39

I am thinking that I need to go alone, on the weds eve.

might ask flame, but she might be going with her DH or mum or something.....

will wait till DH is home later and ask what he minds me doing

OP posts:
differentID · 14/06/2009 12:45

Why don't you and flame go together and her dh and your dh can deal with all 7 children?

psychomum5 · 14/06/2009 12:59

nah, me thinks that plan would not go down well.......

it would scare them both anyway......me and flame natter natter natter, both our DHs are of the quiet type. being together without us there...........there would either be no talking at all, or possibly they would get on the game machines and ignore the children.....not a good scenerio either way

differentID · 14/06/2009 13:00

lol @ your description of both dh's.
