i bumped my head play fighting with DH about 2pm, then passed out when i tried to get up. I tried to take myself down the stairs only i blacked out again and fell down the stairs. I was out for about 20 minutes according to DH and dd was crying cos she thought I had died. I fell asleep as well and was really cold. I jarred my back and bumped my head again and twisted my ankle. Someone said I could have concussion. I fell asleep afterwards too. I feel bruised, shaky and sick now. Am just looking on MHS website about blackout and am now very scared. Its happened a few times in the past few weeks without having panic attacks.

Great anniversary im having!

Titiana - I think you should be at A&E or your GPs right now. Do not leave this any longer. It may be nothing; it may be something much more serious. 20 minites is such a long time.

I also think you need to speak to your Dh about this much more. You need some exact info - the GP will need to know exactly what happened anyway, not just guesses. I have to say that I would be furius (not just upset) with Dh if he left me, with no medical attention, for any length of time in such a potentially dangerous situation. I would be considering his inactions as very serious and wondering where it left our relationship. I do not think it is normal for a Dh to take no action...and then to leave you on your own, woth children to care fore, today.

Go to your GPs or A&E right now. You have to be careful in situations like this.

Have you phones NHS direct? What did they say?

I think she is offline now guys, she said she was going to try and wash her hair.

Hulababy · 09/05/2005 12:53

Hope the GP can shed more light on this for her. Must be extremely scary.

Enid · 09/05/2005 12:54

whats the betting that she will pass out again while washing her hair?

Erm dunno rickman.

sparklymieow · 09/05/2005 13:00

I'm finding this hard to believe TBH, there is no way my DH would leave me for such a long time without medical advice, and if she is washing her wash has she gone upstairs???

sparklymieow · 09/05/2005 13:01

hair, hair....

starlover · 09/05/2005 13:01

that doesn't mean it didn't happen!
Just because we, or our dh/dp's would have done the right thing and phoned an ambulance does not mean that titania;s would have!

sparklymieow · 09/05/2005 13:04

gggglimpopo · 09/05/2005 13:04

Enid · 09/05/2005 13:05

as I, and others, have been pointing out for some time...

nutcracker · 09/05/2005 13:05

yes, she does need help. not people ridiculing her.

Enid · 09/05/2005 13:05

nutcracker, nothing we can do is going to help titania

nutcracker · 09/05/2005 13:06

But there is no need to take the pee though is there ??

Enid · 09/05/2005 13:06

I think Titania is quite aware of the reaction she will get on here actually, and I am sure part of it is the thrill of having people fighting over her, sadly.

nutcracker · 09/05/2005 13:07

Oooo just thought, Rickman, i needed to ask you something, are you on msn ???

Is there noone on MN who knows Titiana, or lives close enough, to help her out - bu simply going round to sit with her whilst she is on her own with those children?

gggglimpopo · 09/05/2005 13:08

OK. I am. My five cents worth is this:

I think that Titania has huge problems that cannot be properly resolved over the internet. I think there is a fine line between sisterly support and a sinister complicity.

I think Titania deserves and needs more than we can give.....
