i bumped my head play fighting with DH about 2pm, then passed out when i tried to get up. I tried to take myself down the stairs only i blacked out again and fell down the stairs. I was out for about 20 minutes according to DH and dd was crying cos she thought I had died. I fell asleep as well and was really cold. I jarred my back and bumped my head again and twisted my ankle. Someone said I could have concussion. I fell asleep afterwards too. I feel bruised, shaky and sick now. Am just looking on MHS website about blackout and am now very scared. Its happened a few times in the past few weeks without having panic attacks.

Great anniversary im having!

Might be low bp. That caused my mum to blackout recently (although she is over 70!) and on admission to hospital she had a BP of 30

titania something does sound odd, are you telling us the whole story? i cannot believe someone would let someone they loved lie cold out on the floor and not phone an ambulance, are you telling us the whole truth?

maybe you weren't out for 20 minutes though? Maybe he exaggerated and it was just a couple of minutes and you came round beofre he had time to do anything? Can you get to the doctors to get checked over?

lou33 · 09/05/2005 09:40

Don't get upset titania, people are just struggling to understand why you were left like you were for solong. If you read the same story about another netter, you would probably think exactly the same. Am sure he doesn't want you dead though

Lonelymum · 09/05/2005 09:41

How soon after hitting your head did you black out Titania? From what you first wrote, it sounds like it was pretty soon after in which case, it is not likely to happen again for no reason is it?

lou33 · 09/05/2005 09:41

But you do owe it to your kids to get yourself checked out, however you get there, or even get a home visit. No excuses!

Titania · 09/05/2005 09:42

i have just rung the doctors and they said i had to ring back at 1.45 for an urgent appointment

OP posts:
lou33 · 09/05/2005 09:45

Titania · 09/05/2005 09:54

they said that i am more than welcome to go and sit and wait but i would still not get seen any quicker.....

OP posts:
lou33 · 09/05/2005 10:02
