For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Oh,I wouldn't worry at all then tF.

lol Guad, you eithet get a taxi driver who blurts on and on, or one who is earily silent I find.

Poor Timmy Twitch is out in the rain.
I am sure he'll be fine as wild rabbits live outside, son't they?

Well today, I got a cab home and the driver didn't actually wait for me to get in properly before slamming it on my shoulder. I said, 'oh dear, I wasn't quite in the car and you just slammed the door on my shoulder' and he laughed and said 'sorry, is it one of those days?' and I said 'well yes I suppose it is but all my other annoynaces have been of my own doing' and he looked a bit blank and didn't say anything else which was a relief of sorts.

TF - Hope things look up for you, they must do soon.

It is pouring with rain here. Lucky I got home to get my washing in. It was sunny when I left but quite chilly, in fact I was so cold I nearly bought an extra cardigan but then I thought it was cheaper to get a taxi home. Duh.

littlerach · 27/04/2009 14:10

Tis raining here too.
Yuck.
And rather chilly.

Poor rabbit

Guadalupe · 27/04/2009 14:11

Can you cover the hutch?

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 14:29

I hate going in taxis.

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 14:31

If TT has somewhere dry togohe should be fine.

SuperBunny · 27/04/2009 14:35

Tiger, I also go with the lalalala scholl of dealing with things. Hope eerything turns out ok.

TT should be fine.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 27/04/2009 14:54

Have a squeeze from me Tiger. All will be well.

I would have thought TT would be fine. It's cold, but it's not winter cold.

The weather here is foul, I even put the heating on for a while. Baby Lemur and I went out for a walk and nearly got blown away.

Baby Lemur is grumbling at EVERYTHING today. He grumbles while eating, while playing, while going out for a walk. Probably teeth. He's also got a sore bit on his bum, he was only sitting in a poo for about 5 minutes and it's like the toxic stuff has burnt his skin. Awwww, bless him. I guess I would grumble with a sore arse.

Oh lordy, he's now grumbling because the cat won't come near him. Probably because he's whinging and flapping his arms wildly.

There's all sorts of crap under the keys of my dead laptop - toast crumbs, sand, seeds. Sometimes they stick and get ttttttttttt

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 17:11

Is it actually dead, Guad?

SuperBunny · 27/04/2009 17:30

I vacuum my keyboard but it doesn't ever get the linseeds out.

Guadalupe · 27/04/2009 17:53

appears to be dead, when I open it there is wine leaking out and it won't turn on

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 17:58

Have you tried hairdryering it?

SuperBunny · 27/04/2009 18:09

Doesn't sound good, Guad.

I have made a new discovery - potatoes. We never have them but I fried some today and they were delicious. Who knew?!

TooTicky · 27/04/2009 18:10

Hey,you should bring some over here, they might change history!

pinkspottywellies · 27/04/2009 18:11

Guad can you email/fb me your address. I have something I keep meaning to send you!

Lemur, thanks for the Legoland ticket offer but we got a fab deal in with the hotel - £7.50 for 2 day passes for all of us Children under 3 are free anyway.

TF I had a mole on my neck that went all crusty (sorry TMI!) about 4 times when I was pg. I finally got round to making a doctors appt and when I mentioned it to some friends a few people said they had funny skin/mole things when pg and it was just all hormonal. I didn't go to the docs in the end but it's not done it since. Hope yours is the same.

Franny. Playing with guns We have those at our local farm park. Brilliant.

Banana, pears (1.5), raisins, salad containing lettuce, rocket, broccoli, pepper, cuc, tom, carrot (not beetroot it was off!) (3.5 portions - I weighed it) and at lunchtime celery, cuc and carrot sticks and lots of hummous (2)

Wow! 9. Still not been running though

DD is such a poppet. We went to the supermarket the other day and all she wanted was a yellow pepper and some flowers. Then she has a quick go on the rides on the way out and she still doesn't know they move if you put 50p in

SuperBunny · 27/04/2009 18:30

lol TooT!

Pink, I love your DD! My DS often asks if we can buy flowers when we go shopping. I always say no but he's very sweet and says. "But mummy, I want to buy you some flowers"

pinkspottywellies · 27/04/2009 18:33

She was insistent that it should be a yellow pepper! And the flowers were only £2 but they do look lovely.

TigerFeet · 27/04/2009 19:04

Aww at miniPink Don't let her grandparents take her out anywhere, that's how dd learned about moving rides . Thanks for the reassurance re the thing, it's been there since last year, it doesn't hurt or itch, it isn't getting any bigger, it's just there, being crusty and weeping or bleeding occasionally... Trouble is I have loads of moles and freckles (god that sounds attractive doesn't it ) and I can't remember if there was one where the thing is... no doubt it's just a dodgy wart or something completely untoward.

Thanks all for hugs and squeezes and general approval of

Potatoes rock, but then I would say that given how much Irish blood I have in me. That said, my Mum never used to cook them properly and they were always a bit crunchy in the middle [blee]. I do love a nice King Edward - roasted, mashed, chipped, with chilli or rosemary and red onion or just with a bit of salt. Just no boiled potatoes please.

pointydog · 27/04/2009 19:06

banana
tomato pasta sauce
carrots
dried apricots
red pepper
courgette and plenty of it

I wish we could count nuts. The number of nuts and seeds I am eating is going through the roof. ON top of my granola, I have also eaten extra hazelnuts and many many almonds today.
