For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 17:24

It was you? Heavens to Betsy.

Boco - stop showing off. I haven't driven for WEEKS.

I want to eat some food but it involves entering my slattern's den of a kitchen and I cannot be arsed.

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 17:24

Sb - glad it worked out.

TooTtheTwaT · 20/03/2009 17:25

Oh Franny, you confessed!

SuperBunny · 20/03/2009 17:25

Possibly, Franny.

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 17:25

stuffit - what are onions in meat sauce, is that like bolognaise?

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2009 17:25

lol at doctor though
when i went deaf the doctor said i would have to do drops for a week before they would syringe me
i said "but but but i have to do SINGING tomorrow"
he did an ENORMOUS eye roll and then did one ear for me
gawd it was uncomfortable

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2009 17:27

lol it was too funny not too TooT
i was reading the thread and thinking there would be a warrant out for my arrest any minute
"TooT we will track down the bastard that called you a TwaT"

Boco · 20/03/2009 17:27

Dr said I could get antibiotic drops but black tea would work just as well. He's quite a 10/10 GP really.

Guad that's rubbish, get back driving before those lessons wear off.

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 17:28

There, Boco, you must say that you need to do seeing and the doctor will do preventative syringing in your eye.

Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 17:29

How did he know it wasn't bacterial, did he do a swab?

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2009 17:30

i use breastmilk on ds2's gunky eye but i feel like a weirdo pervert while i am doing it
he looks so appalled and indignant

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 17:31

yes, yes, i'll, um, drive somewhere tomorrow maybe.

I just don't need to drive regularly like you do so it's hard, especially if dh is away with the car.

TooTtheTwaT · 20/03/2009 17:31

Oh I did that a lot Franny.
But then, I am a twat

Boco · 20/03/2009 17:31

Because bacterial is gunky, viral is watery. Apparently. Saw girl in dds class today who was also off school, and she has it too. They looked at each other with their pink eyes.

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2009 17:32

me and ds2 had posh lunch out together and he waved posh skinny chips around in his fat hands and shouted happy things in the sunshine
it was all in soft focus, he is so lovely
or maybe i have viral conjunctivitis

Boco · 20/03/2009 17:32

It does seem quite rude doesn't it, squirting someone in the eye with milk from your breasts.

FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2009 17:33

you certainly are toot
do you think they will have life long nightmares about giant breasted women coming to squirt them? not that we are giant breasted but it must look that way when you are small and it's going in your eye

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 20/03/2009 17:33

it seems a little impolite boco, yes

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 20/03/2009 17:35

Squirting was really hard, used to aim and then fire it all over the place. I am crap at darts too.

Boco · 20/03/2009 17:37

Well there's no flow control is there. It's either a dribble, or a powerful jet, no knowing which you'll get. That must add to the shock - for the person being ...treated.
