For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

There were two supremely marvellous hats -

  1. Was called 'Charming Lady Hat, New York 1935'
  1. Was called 'Riding Bonnet, 1867'

All the old ones much better than Mr Jones's, not sure that was his intention.

Guadalupe · 28/02/2009 19:44

There are not exact specs no, more like pencil drawings on the wall and I say okay and they sign my name next to it. It's quite relaxed.

Am only going to local but friends are up from london and I have saved three glasses of wine!

I would have LOVED that, haven't been to V&A for ages. I want to see the new jewellery bit too. Popped in the London museum recently and the Cheapside hoard was disappointingly absent.

Guadalupe · 28/02/2009 19:45

Charming lady hat. How nice. I like hats. They suit me but I rarely wear them. I don't really know where to get nice ones from.

Maybe no-one would notice if I left the museum looking extra charming in dark glasses.

ahundredtimes · 28/02/2009 19:48

V&A v. pleasing indeed, I love the V&A, given my quite serious textile habit. Yes, you would have liked it very much, I thought so at the time.

I think you might need to not be so relaxed in order to stop this sort of thing happening maybe? Bake more cakes, get stringent. I think you'll do strict and exacting v. well.

Guadalupe · 28/02/2009 19:55

Yes, you are right. Everything is very vague and I don't know exactly how it will look.

I will tell them with a smile and a meaningful look to move it back and I will be more careful next time.

Right, hair to do, shoes to change and gin to drink. Goodnight.

FrayedKnot · 28/02/2009 19:56

Congratulations Mango!! It must be meant to be now that there will always be at least one vegger who is up the duff

It's lovely to have two

Although quite what happens when we are all 20 years older and discussing the merits of patches or acupuncture for our hot flushes I am not quite sure.

Actually for me that will probably be in about 10 years not 20

Right. 170 points, and that is including 50 for teas.

However, in mitigation, your honour, I WOULD have done BLW if I had heard of it when DS was that age.

mollyroger · 28/02/2009 20:01

at hat exhibition.

Crystal healing 100? Really? You loon...

AtillaTheHoney · 28/02/2009 20:13

175 pints (errr, that'll be points then) unless a buttony rag will make do instead of a wnakey basket .

Will try and catch up soon, but special 'HI' to Mango....it has been aaages..

Oh, but how many do you deduct for diet-coke addiction?

I want to chat but one of my clothing racks has collapsed .

ahundredtimes · 28/02/2009 20:13

Yes, the ley-line course was fascinating too, did I never mention it?

The one thing that is tragically sad on that list, is to have ever eaten anything you've grown. That's really bad. I'm going to grow things to eat this year.

stuffitllama · 28/02/2009 20:21

pinkspottywellies · 28/02/2009 20:38

I seem to remember that 100x makes her own cocktails and whilst that may not be as wholesome as bread or pube wall-hangings, she still has to count the points

I also will do BLW this time I think and therefore will up my lentilly points in about 6 months time

There are some more photos on Facebook. Sorry I haven't got time to put them on here but they're on FB for my dsis.

mollyroger · 28/02/2009 20:39

100, even herbs would count. I bet even you use herbs....

I expect you went on the ley-line course for Research

mollyroger · 28/02/2009 20:40

Right away to bed with me and I will have another opening session in the morning

Night night x

Boco · 28/02/2009 21:14

How could anyone not open presents at once immediately? I could never leave some til the morning, they'd be torn into within minutes, all of them!

Am about to watch gomorrah but not sure i'm in the mood for brutal blood splattered thriller with subtitles. Will see how long I last.

FrannyandZooey · 28/02/2009 21:21

right i have emailed people with photos of what went in the parcels
if i have missed anyone sorry, just give me a shout
i have some people on one email address and some on another, so it gets muddly
ditto if anyone has been completely bypassed by the whole 'send pink a present' issue, i am really sorry
i tried to get hold of everyone but tbh my organisational skills have really been lacking
i hope nobody got missed out, i am fretting slightly - the parcel was from all of us anyway, regardless of who sent what

TooTicky · 28/02/2009 21:39

FK, have posted sympathetically but possibly not articulately - ds2 is releasing a constant stream of beano jokes into my left ear...

SuperBunny · 28/02/2009 21:59

Franny, stop fretting - you worked very hard and the gifts look wonderful. Thank you for sorting it all out.

About 210 points. I have never cooked millet though. I thought it was bird seed.

Is lavender tea nice, Pink?

I am making mixed peel.

FrayedKnot · 28/02/2009 22:25
