For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Good morning good morning good morning good morning good morning good morning good morning good morning (in manner of Stephen Fry on QI)

I am slightly older and slightly shorter than BBBeee & Boco

I am at the less lentilly end of the queue

God that took a lot of brain power that's yer lot for the day, thinkingwise.

Had 4ish portions of salady things yesterday.

Hipsters women of my proprotions should not wear hipsters. So I don't.

TigerFeet · 28/02/2009 09:24

Aww TooT you have superbly mad hair

FrayedKnot · 28/02/2009 09:26

TooT DS just looked at Stinky and is now rolling over the sofa in hysterics

I am being forced to go swimming

I am very tired - not hungover you understand, just tired

But in return for taking off my clothes in a freezing changing room and then dipping myself in the primordial soup, DH is doing housework

I probably score 0.5 on the lentil scale.

I have a composter and a veg box

TigerFeet · 28/02/2009 09:31

composter
mooncup (N/A atm obv)

erm..

erm..

I would have a veg box but dh brings veg home from work.

I have a packet of lentils in the cupboard. And some quinoa.

erm..

stuffitllama · 28/02/2009 10:02

oh the lentility is overwhelming!

lol molly

no lentility here though I do own lentils

I am not lentilly at all - only qualification is passionate faith in nutritional therapy and hatred of pharmaceutical corporate care

don't even know if that counts..maybe just bolshy

mollyroger · 28/02/2009 10:14

please someone, stroke my head and soothe my fevered brow. We find out about secondary school on Monday and I am sick with fear.

mangolassi · 28/02/2009 10:16

what are you all talking about? with the lists? Can't scroll up high enough to figure it out

mollyroger · 28/02/2009 10:17

hello mango. We are denying or proclaiming our lentility

Guadalupe · 28/02/2009 10:18

I am too weak for that pump class, stuffit. And I am never eating butter again.

seven bluberries
half a kiwi
three slices of banana
quarter of pear

I am going out tonight. This is going to require military prescision.

I can't be bothered to declare lentil credentials. I am not one.

Oooh, Pink, have you a packet?

mangolassi · 28/02/2009 10:22

Oh, erm... I think on paper I look quite lentilly but if you actually met me, you'd think, nope.

TigerFeet · 28/02/2009 10:28

Hello mangolassi

Molly, it's awful isn't it, I was sick with fear when we got dd's primary allocation. I'm sure that secondary must be a thousand times worse

mangolassi · 28/02/2009 10:32

mangolassi · 28/02/2009 10:37

FrannyandZooey · 28/02/2009 10:39

i have been crap about sending it and crap about telling people i sent i, but pink has got two whopping big parcels at LAST
it took me till now because i had to take them in the pram, LOL, and i had to have ds1 with me to hold them on, cos they was enormous

filly once did a definitive test for lentiliness, do you remember, toot? i will try to find it

i am sorry about the bleach bunny
i end up apologising for this about twice a year on average
i know it is bad but if i don't then the toilet gets revolting
