For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:59

Well, you have the air fresh round your ankles. Look on the bright side.

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 20:00

Naughty, Molly. I have met you remember.

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 20:02

DH is out at a meeting to try and get seed funding for a nice eco-power venture. He has been gone for 3 hours,. Do you think that's a good sign?

Do I get extra lentil weavery Kudos for this?

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 20:03

yes molly

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 20:04

right i am saying toot is lentilliest
then avi
then molly
what do you reckon?

OP posts:
mollyroger · 27/02/2009 20:04

one of my friends at work told me she had a load of skirts she couldn't fit into any more which she'd bring in for me. I was so excited as she has extremely cool (and expensive) tastes...but though I have seen her 5 times since then, nothing has materialised (ha! See what I did there?)

Is it bad form to mention the skirts to her?

mollyroger · 27/02/2009 20:06

actually Franny, I do think you are more lentilly than me. I drink and smoke

And I haven't read any books about AP or PP or BLW or anything.

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 20:08

oh i think drinking and smoking is fairly lentilly - i bet it's cider and rollies isn't it?
i'm not really lentilly at all - i just do a few very visibly lentilly things eg breastfeed children until they leave home

OP posts:
mollyroger · 27/02/2009 20:14

I do smoke rollies, as it goes....

And cider.

But wine tonight.

And only at weekends.

I only bf til 14 months. Bloody amateur

Boco · 27/02/2009 20:15

Stop saying that it's ME who is the bad influence Guad. I'd never even tried smoking crack until I met you.

I'm more lentilly than anyone I hang out with in The Village, but less lentilly than most of you, I think.

womblingalong · 27/02/2009 20:16

I think I am least lentil weavery, and prob shortest too, as no sneeze.

Boco · 27/02/2009 20:18

We need to plot these statistics into a chart to find out if height has any influence on lentillyness or barkingness or ...age.

womblingalong · 27/02/2009 20:21

Boco The Village sounds trendy/sinister when you say it like that.

Pak Choi
Green Beans
Mushrooms
Bean Sprouts

womblingalong · 27/02/2009 20:22

BTW I think our chart would show no correlation, as TooT and I are the same/similar height, but poles apart on lentil weaveryness

mollyroger · 27/02/2009 20:24

eeek! Good meeeting apparently. Power to the people! I can say no more but am excited.....

womblingalong · 27/02/2009 20:25

fingers crossed molly!

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 20:26

ah THAT is because of Bush's Law wombling, which states that lentilliness is equal to height times (age over barkingness) squared)
