For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

pmsl at Stannah

Butter on a richtea sounds rank. My mum put on a shit load of weight when she had her hysterectomy in her early 30's, and gave up smoking at the same time. Double whammy.

5'10 and a bit and 33

33, how the fuck did I become 33 all of a sudden. That's bordering on mid-thirties isn't it?!

blueberries
banana
dried fruit
sweetcorn
onions
tomatoes
oj
pineapple
peppers

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 27/02/2009 19:45

ah but, if I had used my old name, I'd have not been in.....

Anyway, that was a crap comment to be immortalised by. My Oxo tower thread was much ruder and funnier. {flounce]

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:47

maybe you should START smoking?

OP posts:
ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 27/02/2009 19:47

Sorry Guad, I was a tad tactless there. Will it make it better if I tell you that she hardly noticed the menopause?

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:48

topshop are good for trousers, lemur

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:48

I chuffed like a chimney with Boco. It was her fault. I was badly behaved all round.

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:49

OP posts:
TooTicky · 27/02/2009 19:49

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:50

OP posts:
ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 27/02/2009 19:50

I am not lentilly at all. I would like to be, and aspire to be, but am sadly lacking in proper lentilly type ways e.g. I eat meat and I am an evil consumer type.

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:50

toot you can roll em up
stop whinging

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:50

No, lemur, it wouldn't. I am trying not to think about my very probable early menopause.

Honestly, I am cool with being fat and barren.

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 27/02/2009 19:51

tee hee, a kick in the chuff is an insult in this house.

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:51

lol, I am being naughty now. Just joking.

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:51

lemur i bleach my toilets and eat hula hoops
this lentilly train drags round after me quite undeserved

OP posts:
TooTicky · 27/02/2009 19:52

roll them up. Thank you for that. So much. Never thought of that.

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:52
