For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

oh dear I didn't get the game
it's not my fault I don't have as many brain cells as the rest of you

anyway you need a lock, a backstop, a foot firmly planted in the mud beyond which you shall not pass

Guad all this veg and fruitery means you are healthy: isn't that more important?

stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:07

no sorry I'm the shortest as well

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:09

oh dear i got it wrong already
right i will stand next to wombling, on the far side from stuffit
i don't know who is on my other side
maybe frayedknot?

LR, we didn't actually stand back to back, did we?
We must do next time and get some baffled cafe person to adjudicate

Okay then Stuff, how short are you?
I can declare my height, i have done it before.

stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:09

now you've all run away from the old short person

stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:10

oh you are back
ok I am five feet and a sneeze

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:11

more important than what, stuffit?

I am still eating plenty of fruit and veg, is about all I am bleeding allowed. No, actually it's a good thing. I needed a reason to stop stuffing, no-one needs to pout crumbs on the end of the butter.

stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:12

what about Tiger? she will be on the other side of franny
where does Idris go

100 is a bairn surely

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:12

ooh i'm not tallest any more am i?
lemur are you tallest?

OP posts:
TooTicky · 27/02/2009 19:12

So is a sneeze more or less than nearly-half-an-inch?

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:13

lol at five foot and a sneeze

Franny was tallest before, no?

littlerach · 27/02/2009 19:13

Are we doing height or size?

stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:13

than society's image of women

oh but I think we do
rich tea biscuits with butter are particularly good for the soul

littlerach · 27/02/2009 19:13

Bugger, I mean height or age

stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:15

it's half an inch
are we back to back?
how nice! I don't imagine Franny as tall
am going to have to revisit my story of you all if this is going on

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:15

i think lemur is tallest
and i think we should do BARKINGEST next
i will stand in between 100 and tatties
make of that what you will

OP posts:
Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:16

Oh, GOOD, I have found someone else who appreciates the joy of butter on a rich tea!! No-one else gets this.

Nothing to do with society, more to do with fitting into my own clothes. Women put on two stone after a hysterectomy on average.

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:16

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:17

Oh, I am way down the line on barking. Am feeling proper and precise today.

stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:17

does that mean you have to eat like a bird forever?

TooTicky · 27/02/2009 19:17

Oh dear, barkingest...hm...

Guadalupe · 27/02/2009 19:17

FrannyandZooey · 27/02/2009 19:20

guad you need to build up muscle tone then you can eat more

5 weeks it has been now

OP posts:
stuffitllama · 27/02/2009 19:22
