For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Evening

While we're on the subject, the first thing I said to the MW as we went into the birthing suite was "I feel like I'm going to do a really big poo"

She kind of looked a bit worried and then my knees went all jelly and I had to get straight up on the bed and she said, you know that feeling you just described, well it's time to start pushing

I was most annoyed afterwards that I hadn;t had time to put the birthing CD on that I had spent ages compiling

Dried fruits
Satsumas
Stir fry
Rocket
Grated carrot

1 hour in gym

oh I remeber saying stuff and then being angry as i realsised i was being cliched!!

I remember during transition saying ''I feel much better now, I think I'd like to go home now, please!''

And with ds2, because I knew he was a boy, when he came out, I figured something was expected of me, so after asking if he was alright, I asked ''does he have hair?''

pinkspottywellies · 27/02/2009 11:01

The midwife put the tap on to wash her hands and after a moment of horror I realised it was the tap and said 'omg I thought that was me!!!!!!!!!!!!'

pinkspottywellies · 27/02/2009 11:04

Morning Franny.

peanuts
apple juice
pineapple

AtillaTheHoney · 27/02/2009 12:01

Lol at Franny

When DD was born DS kept coming in the room until the actual final push and things got graphic, and he kept coming in and saying...''so hows it going here then ladies?''

After DD was born, the midwives and physiotherapist left and they leave you with all the sheets and towels etc and I fed her, and started doing the washing!! I lay her swaddled in the laundry basket She spent a lot of time in the laundry basket but for the life of me I can't remember why....she had a lovely moses basket.

Not eating as am feeling sick again.

So juice and smoothies.

Will try soup for lunch.

Stupid body.

Hey Pink.... you are all radiant!!
