For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Yes, thanks 100x

ahundredtimes · 28/01/2009 21:22

[airy] Oh really Pink, it was nothing. Nothing at all.

Now go and curl up and read a book and eat lots of unsuitable things and spend most of tomorrow watching american teen TV programmes and telling dd all about what a pom pom is and why it was bad when the guy lost his locker key.

TooTicky · 28/01/2009 22:04

Enormous hugs for Feather and Pink and SB.

Franny, obviously they are gorgeous.

100x, enjoyed saga. Did you know saga comers from the Swedish? sag = say
I like noticing these things

Tired

FairLadyRantALot · 28/01/2009 22:14

sagen is the german for saying, too....

Guadalupe · 28/01/2009 22:16

Poor Pink. It is exhausting this bit but not long now and it will be a new start. I can't bear late pregnancy, in fact pregnancy full stop. All that huffing and puffing and more people than usual invading your personal space.

Chin up.

Guadalupe · 28/01/2009 22:20

What a dumpling, franny! You're so good at photos, I must get organised to get them on the computer.
Yesterday the kitchen was a big pile of rubble and ceiling held up with accros (sp?). It's hard to keep the vision when it's like that.

My banana cakes burnt when i went out leaving them on 160 degrees because they somehow got turned up to 240. I was spectacularly angry about it.

TooTicky · 28/01/2009 22:20

Really Fairlady?

Oh, dd2 wanted to know today how to say, "I have finished", in German. For when she wants her bottom wiping

TooTicky · 28/01/2009 22:21

Guad, when do you change from one house to the other?

Guadalupe · 28/01/2009 22:22

Easter hopefully

Guadalupe · 28/01/2009 22:23

Big round of redundancies coming in dh's dept so as soon as possible basicly. Paying two mortages atm.

TooTicky · 28/01/2009 22:24

Ouch. Still, easter isn't far is it? Oh, is it still January?

TooTicky · 28/01/2009 22:26

I think I will go to bed before I rest my head on the keyboard.

Night all xxxxx

Boco · 28/01/2009 22:27

toot, thanks for pictures, they're great, she looks deliciously cheeky

Guadalupe · 28/01/2009 22:30

Not long really, no. Might be a bit optimistic.

Grand designs is amazing tonight, makes our project look like a days work.

FairLadyRantALot · 28/01/2009 22:33

Toot..."Ich bin fertig" or just "fertig" would propably be adequat and a bit easier

Ich bin fertig translates into " I am done/ready/finished"

Guadalupe · 28/01/2009 22:50

The grand designs house is weird actually, too cold and clinical.

BBBee · 28/01/2009 23:22

oh no oh no

one day away and i can;t keep up

Just popping on to look for hospital bag lists. Need to get packed and midwife will want to see birth plan tomorrow so need to do that tonight.

I was going to an aromatherapy and waterbirth class tonight but going to give it a miss. Maybe if I go to bed at 7 I'll get to sleep by 10

On a better note - breakfast has been porridge with raisins (1), blueberries (1), kiwis (1) and orange juice (1)
