For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Ok Toot....it will be OK. big hugs....

Guad, at least there is hope It will grow back, thought I might be pelted with eggs forever more by local children for being the toe-nail-less one.

Lemon cheesecake LR? i you.....

We love you too BBBeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
I don't 'see' you much. Will look at thread link when I am not in company of strange children. (that'll be about 15 yrs then...)

Tea break done, am going backwards this morning, I might just wind up back in bed at this rate. For a chronically tired, toe-nail-less (yes, that again), party stressed vegger, I am remarkably manic light of spirit.

p.s Toot. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

littlerach · 17/01/2009 12:06

Feather, I haven't ever made this one, or tried it

It could be vile!!

But it is a MN recipe so I am having faith....

pinkspottywellies · 17/01/2009 12:16

Look at you all texting. What's going on? Are you ok TooT?

I have a gorgeous lemon cheesecake recipe - no baking or anything just mix about 6 ingredients together! It's a james martin one from the bbc website - I'll find the link if anyone wants it.

Still tired. DH and I have a new weekend sleep regime. We used to have a lie-in one day each but I never get very long in the morning so he now has the morning and I go back to bed in the afternoon. So I'm off back to bed in a minute

Satsuma, grapes, dried apricots.

And by the way, 100x made it a log cabin with an open fire for me cause I'm all pregnant and all! Avi, due 5 weeks today. Not expecting him til long after that though!

pinkspottywellies · 17/01/2009 14:08

So now you all listen to Franny and shut the fuck up

TooTicky · 17/01/2009 14:13

Yeah yeah I'm fine. Somebody tell Pinbk and LR. But not ion here. Sorry for sounding all secretive it's not supposed to be.,Sorry.
Avi, I still have your number in my phone - will text if it still works with you being where you are and not where you were when I last texted you [vague]

Got to run up hill, dd2 has party and we should havecleft...

TinyWhiteFeather · 17/01/2009 14:18

Oh god, you are all so bossy, lololol, even pink.

I never shut up, well, nearly never......

I want to go back to bed.

I'll try your lemon cheesecake pink....pleeeeeaaaasssseeeee!!!!!

Log fire sounds glorious to me. I can sip slightly warm diet-coke and daydream........sigh! (furry throw required please)

And could segovia sit in the corner and quietly play the guitar?

Tries to be bossy.............
would you all kindly try being a little quieter and maybe not have quite so much to say for yourselves....please?

Puffs out chest....nearly

pinkspottywellies · 17/01/2009 14:47

Oh I'm especially bossy

The cheesecake recipe has GONE!!!!!!!! It's not on the website any more. Luckily I wrote it down at Christmas to take to my mum's and make. I'll post it here in a sec.

TWF I'm logged onto fb - can you msg me on there and let me know if TooT's ok [fret]

pinkspottywellies · 17/01/2009 14:57

Lemon Cheesecake (Easy-peasy recipe)

12 digestives, crushed
100g melted butter
1tsp honey

Combine the above and press into case. (This is the original recipe quantities and was for 4 individual rings. I always do double (for lots of people - not just me!!) and put it in a 9inch loose bottomed tin.)

2 lemons, juice and zest
1 tbsp icing sugar
500g mascarpone (although I think I used half philly when I didn't have enough and was fine)

Stir together (not too much or it will split - this has never happened to me) and slorm over the biscuit base.

Refrigerate until you can't bear it any longer then tuck in, by yourself with a spoon.

Oops, I mean chill before serving! It's very tangy and delicious and you can make it as lemony as you like (tasting as you go along )

TinyWhiteFeather · 17/01/2009 15:00

I can never be bothered to be bossy and just get on with my own thing...in fact I am too lazy for most qualities like that .
Someone could park across the end of our drive, leave their engine running, play loud, bad music, smoking questionable substances and have 18 children in the back of the car and I would just notice it's colour. lol

TinyWhiteFeather · 17/01/2009 15:01

dribbles.......thank-you pink. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm

TinyWhiteFeather · 17/01/2009 15:04

Oh and I am far too tired to sit on a lousy bus for an hour and sit in a too hot swimming pool, (I can't get in, my toe-nail has dropped off, did you know?).

littlerach · 17/01/2009 15:08

Feather, will you FB me too please?

Pink, that looks divine.
I have no marscapone but have copied it for next time.
Pineapple cake in oven

pinkspottywellies · 17/01/2009 15:10

Thanks for sharing about the toe-nail. I always appreciate that level of details in these matters

Don't go on the bus. You can't possibly go near a swimming pool with a toe-nail like that (or lack thereof)!

TinyWhiteFeather · 17/01/2009 15:18

Roffling....and you with such a delicate constitution at the moment Pink.

TinyWhiteFeather · 17/01/2009 15:20

However am now not going on the bus or to the party as DS has not come home and we have missed it, so have managed to arrange emergency transport for DD...oh that boy....

pinkspottywellies · 17/01/2009 15:23

Where is he? I assume he knew he was supposed to be back? Where's dh?
