For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

i'm not allowed to be covered in whey
it'll aggravate ds2's eczema

i am going to sit on the porch in a rocking chair, fanning myself and looking coyly at the fine gentlemen passing by

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 20:00

Oh TooT. Ouch. Take it you have spoken to someone about double vision if it's a new thing? Sorry don't know much about it. Does he eye-patch for training eye to focus again?

BBBee · 19/01/2009 20:00

oh and let's have it like deadwood. I am going to wear a swishy dress and I have a heart tatoo on my left breast and a gun in my garter.

SuperBunny · 19/01/2009 20:01

Oh, interesting

Good update, good about distance. Day at a time eh?

I'm so EXCITED. You're going to be v. camp and lady from Savannah aren't you? [hugs self]

FrannyandZooey · 19/01/2009 20:03

why yay-es 100, i do believe i am

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 20:05

Not at patching stage yet. Patchiung his bad eye more the thing atm as he is desperately photophobic.

Letter contained interesting terminology such as pseudophakia, loose corneal sutures, thickened posterior lens capsule, surgical posterior capsulotomy, convergent squint, posterior capsular opacification

Much less pattronising and more informative.

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 20:05

[faints with excitement] Have you got too much white make-up on? Do you have a beauty spot? Do you reek slightly of gin?

LOL.

And just as things were getting butch and camp all at once I have to go and put children to bed. lolol. You've all cheered me up. Thank you.

SuperBunny · 19/01/2009 20:10

Oh, you're all having so much fun.

TooT, what is psuedophakia?

OP posts:
TooTicky · 19/01/2009 20:14

pseudophakia is the replacement of a natural lens with a plastic one [recently knowledgeable] which is what they did at his cataract op.

Boco · 19/01/2009 20:16

I'm going to tear down the curtains and make Miss Franny a mahty fahn dreyuss! so I ahm!

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 20:17

OMG. Did you see this?

It's started. And they won't stop there. Oh no siree. Don't say I haven't warned you. Geese are the outriders, just wait until the herons move.

SuperBunny · 19/01/2009 20:35

Geese are quite evil. That plane crash was awful - those people are very lucky to be alive.

OP posts:
mollyroger · 19/01/2009 20:40

sorry to be flippant about the air crash..
but 100 you do make me chuckle!

I'll get me winshester and shoot them pesky flapping critters for ya! And then we'll cook 'em

mollyroger · 19/01/2009 20:41

Guadalupe · 19/01/2009 20:53

You better pass me a curtain, Boco, since you've all taken all the frigging chequed shirts.

Oooh, there's the rubber tomahawk. Remember how much you all love the rubber tomahawk?

Guadalupe · 19/01/2009 20:55

Thank you for all advice. I had looked on the website Franny linked to and it says it's okay, hardly any gets in so I reckon it'll be okay tonight. Was 2pm yesterday. He has gone to bed much happier anyway.

I can feel the halloumi sitting in my stomach. I am nto going to think of the S word.

Guadalupe · 19/01/2009 20:57

I see you've all fucked off over the frontier.

Guadalupe · 19/01/2009 21:10
FrannyandZooey · 19/01/2009 21:10

oh sorry miss lupe, i do believe i fell asleep out here in the heat, what with the gin and all

Guadalupe · 19/01/2009 21:12

Wicked Miss Franny.

You must walk a long way through the wood where the wild animals are not afraid to walk and collect syrup for the sugar moulds.

TigerFeet · 19/01/2009 21:14

Go West, life is peaceful there
GO West, there in the open air

BBBee · 19/01/2009 21:39

I stink of gin.

Let's play poker.

Which one of you shot that man out there? He is dead and getting in teh way.

FrannyandZooey · 19/01/2009 21:44

that's Jem, Jem who I've lurved since i was a little girl and he shinned up the tall tree yonder to get me a honeycomb. He never hurt nobody and now he's dayyyy-ayyyy-eddddd
