For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Pigs? Can we have bacon sandwiches

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 19:33

I didn't know TF was pregnant. Congratulations! How exciting.

Good. Well we definitely need the log cabin now.

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:33

But you mustn't eat the pigs. My pigs.

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 19:34

You can have whatever you want because you're going to have a baby. Don't tell TooT though. [puts on plaid shirt, gets large knife]

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:35

100x I have been awake for 18 hours
I feel as if I am flying

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:35
ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 19:35

My god TooT. Why? Are you going to crash?

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:36

I may fly over your park in a minute

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:36

I hope not. Can I crash land in your garden?

FrannyandZooey · 19/01/2009 19:37

god the dissent in here

toot are you not normally up for 17 hours every day anyway? i know i more or less am

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 19:38

Yes, you can land on the trampoline and then we'll all run around and try and catch you as you bounce off. It'll help to keep us alert.

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:38

I don't know Franny but I woke upo at half past one. So it is slightly unusual.

i think she has been up for 17hrs so far.

If we are making bacon we need a smokery. Are we allowed to smoke - I have some marlboro lights.

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:40

A sandwich can't be pudding. Ds1 says so. And he doesn't want cereal. He has already had fruit and I am not baking anything.
Ideas?

mollyroger · 19/01/2009 19:40

There re loofahs in log cabins, are there not?

100 how kind of you to think about ds2 and I. I was looking guiltily at The Unwritten Rules only this morning and hearing your voice!

Things calmed down beautifully first week back but his Nemesis is back on form. Chose ds to sit next to on school trip and then called him a moron for an hour and a half. So ds sat by himself on the way home ''which was by the far the best thing to do mum''.

He doesn't help himself, though, with his temper. No reported incidents yet, though it is such a strain walking into the playground each day and expecting the teacher to come out with that head-shaking and sympathetic expression...my nerves are shredded!

I am trying to persuade him to invite some other children for tea next week as charismatic ds1 is away for the week....

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:40

tobacco-smoked bacon

ahundredtimes · 19/01/2009 19:40

Oh yes, I'll be smoking in the smokery. It's going to be very Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Lupe is having plaits and will be riding her gig too fast about the lanes.

BBBee · 19/01/2009 19:40

(I am not sitting next to carrot or boco though)

right - those small people that came out of my body - they need to be ashed and put in other clothes and put into beds. (if only it were that easy >)

BBBee · 19/01/2009 19:41

Washed - ashed

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:41

Sounds exhausting Molly.

mollyroger · 19/01/2009 19:41

ds1 often has a sandwich for pudding. It drives me mad as I am actually prepared to do proper sponges and custard and things. And he Will Not!

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 19/01/2009 19:42

100x - have you been to Featherdown Farm? It looks lovely.

BBBee · 19/01/2009 19:42

(smoking see)

(and yes it will be tobacco smoked bacon as that is pink's favourite and she is pregnant)

TooTicky · 19/01/2009 19:42

Sorry, I think I am a bit strange and talky this evening. I will go away and leave you in peace
